The owner of the property was very helpful and checking in/out was very easy, inside it is well equipped with everything you could need and those things that you may have forgotten to bring from home. The electric fire in the front room warms up the property quickly on a chilly evening. The TV has a fire stick which is very helpful if you're coming with children. The location is beautiful with views of mountains and it was just under an hour away to Snowden which was the reason for our visit. There are also very locally beautiful walking paths and the black waterfalls which are stunning. There is a playground about a 2 minute walk which has a lot of grass for kids to run around and a small football pitch. I would recommend this property for anyone looking for a relaxing place to chill out and experience north Wales. We would definitely return 😊

Perfect weekend away in Wales, the cabin was just right.

Our 4 night stay.
The cabin originally booked was not available as cleaner was unable to COVID clean by required date. We were then offered another equivalent cabin. We got the impression that it was several days since it was last cleaned.
This cabin was OK but was not very comfortable as both the beds and sofas were too hard.

Our North Wales Vacay
We had a wonderful few days staying here which gave us easy access to all areas. The cabin we stayed at was newly furnished with all useful facilities however, on arrival the property was very dusty and we had to give it a bit of a once over on arrival. The outdoor seating areas was dirty rendering it out of use for the duration of our stay. The cabin itself was however cosy and gave us the “cabin feel” we were after. Facilities were good albeit the shower was more of a trickle. Beds were comfy and we had a good nights sleep every night. All in all we had a good stay here and would recommend it, but the cleaning needs a bit of an improvement next time around.

Lovely Place, Lovely Host.
The Log cabin is lovely and cosy, really welcoming, warm feeling. The bed's we comfy and the kitchen and bathroom was clean and moderns. The host was really easy to get into contact with and very friendly.
The only thing we'd all suggest is a warning sign regarding the hot taps. Normally when you turn on a hot tap it takes a little while to get warm up and you can text it. These taps are instantly boiling, all for of us are adults and we all had to put our hand under the cold tap at some point after being scolding. But that was truly the only thing, we would happy return again and it is very deserving of 5 stars..

Great place to explore Snowdonia from. There is also amazing walks close by for families. Precipice walk was our favourite. Mt Snowden and some of the higher peaks are about 45mins away. Beaches about 30mins. We would recomend Harlech. During the heatwave and not crowded. We were lucky with the weather so had a fantastic trip. Would definatley recomend.

Was our first trip to Wales and it was absolutely amazing ! Location of the lodge is excellent and the lodge has been re furbished to a high quality standard great value for money! Only issue with the lodge was that the double bed was really uncomfortable we had to pull the sofa bed out to sleep on as after the first 2 nights in the main bed we was waking up with sore backs.

If you like the sticks but within 10 TO 15 MINUTE car drive away from amenities this is the place for you
