About this house rental

Our beautiful townhouse is located right off the mountain road 10 minutes from the ski hill and across from the Stowe Golf Course and on the Stowe Recreation trail. It is very clean and cozy with a gas fireplaced living room and room for up to four adults. All guests must be over 21 years old. This is a shoes off house. Please always leave your shoes, ski boots, and skis in the entryway. A ski rack is built into the entryway wall. A propane grill is available for cooking outdoors. An outdoor table and chair set is folded away in the foyer for your use.

A full recently remodeled kitchen with a dishwasher, microwave, and gas range make this a true home away from home. Wood paneling throughout the unit gives a cabin in the mountains feel.

Super comfortable beds await with a king size in the master suite and another king in the guest bedroom. There is a foyer for leaving your outdoor clothes and equipment, including ski racks.

You could not be more centrally located with Idletime, Chalie B's. and Piecasso restaurants across the Mountain Road, Stowe Cider, Sushi Yoshi and Alchemy Brewery within walking distance, and lots of great options close by including Ten Acre Lodge and the Trapp Brewery.

A 10 minute drive gets you to the base lodge at Stowe or to Stowe Village or the entrance of Smugglers Notch for great hiking.

Pets of any kind are not allowed in the unit. There is also a maximum of 4 guests. No parties allowed and quiet time starts at 10pm.

The pool building is just a short walk from our unit behind the administrative building and includes a heated indoor pool, Jacuzzi, Sauna, Pool table, Ping Pong and other games. There is also a seasonal outdoor pool and tennis courts available for use. Ping pong paddles are provided in the unit.

My husband and I visit Stowe ~every year so know the area well, but this was our 1st time staying in this home. We had a great experience! It was very clean (owners asked that we take off shoes), nicely furnished and decorated, and quiet, but close to the Rec Trail for walks and runs and only a short drive to shops, restaurants, hikes, and into town. The owners were very responsive to a hot water issue we had when we arrived and addressed/fixed the problem almost immediately. Highly recommend! Only caveat for anyone with problems climbing stairs, both bedrooms and bathrooms are upstairs.

The condo came with unexpected good weather! We were able to sit outside by the front door. We also enjoyed table tennis! A tip: It was also the perfect time to visit, as the kids had just returned to school. Stowe was uncrowded.

We have been staying at the Village Green for years and Paul’s place did not disappoint. We loved the laundry, the later checkout, the AC and the new flooring upstairs. Paul was great about making sure we had everything we needed. His place was well appointed and very cozy. We would definitely stay here again.

1. After we had agreed to rent the unit, we were advised that the pool would be unavailable due to scheduled maintenance. Owner said rental price had already been discounted to take this into account. But if owner knew about it in advance, he should have included the information in the listing so that prospective renters could decide whether to rent the place, 2. Listing requested no shoe use inside the unit and promised that slippers would be provided. But there were no slippers. When we advised owner, we were told to just use bare feet or socks. Had we known, we would have brought our own slippers. 3. Shower in bathtub adjacent to main bedroom continues to run when bath is being used and water is turned on.

This condo was just right for us to join another family who was also renting in Village Green. The short walk to the free Stowe shuttle was a huge bonus. We also enjoyed the ease of places to eat and shop that were towards Stowe Village as well as towards the mountain. The coffee pot needs to be replaced but that was my only negative. We also had problems with the key pad at check in that were immediately addressed. I would definitely stay here again.

Clean and comfortable unit . Couch and chair comfortable, bed hard for my comfort, but acceptable. Nice gas fireplace. Didn’t discover the one unlocked closet till the end of our stay ( behind bedroom door which we never closed) and that was where the extra blanket we had wished for. Kitchen small but adequate.Adequate pots pans etc. Not much by way of supplies- bring napkins,plastic bags etc. bathroom set up in primary room slightly unusual as shown in photos. I’m 5’2” and had to use sink in other upstairs bathroom to wash because the sink too high for me. Not a deal breaker however. Overall good rental. Nice central location to mountain, shops, restaurants etc.

it was 10:30 on a rainy night (literally pouring!!) . The lock malfunctioned (NOBODY's fault!). Called about 7 times. Even called the police. We could not get into the house. If you have the responsibility to your tenant, don't you dare put your phone on "do not disturb" mode!!! I think it is irresponsible and would not recommend this host

The townhouse is clean and in a perfect location for exploring the Stowe area. Be aware that only the Master Bedroom has air conditioning, which is probably fine most of the year, but not in August.

We had a great stay. The condo is in a perfect location and at a reasonable price. Fully furnished, we had everything we needed. Super clean! The fireplace was great after skiing. It was so easy to register and use the keyless entry to gain access. Nice European hospitality with American convenience. 100% will come back and 100% recommend.

We booked this home for a ski vacation at Stowe. The house was extremely clean and easy to access. For skiing, it is a short walk to the shuttle stop. Also a very short walk to local bars and restaurants. Would definitely recommend for a ski vacation with friends!

The first night we cooked on the grill and found the kitchen stocked at an acceptable level. We did have to buy napkins and salt. The community room of pool, hot tub etc adds to this meticulously clean and comfortable condo. We will be back.

Amazing freshly renovated, very clean and cozy condo. New furniture, linens and spa like towels. New refrigerator and everything you need in the kitchen. Very useful storage for ski equipment. Close to Stowe mountain. We enjoyed the community sauna, indoor pool and jacuzzi. We will defiantly come back next year. Thank you Paul and Oxana.
