Welcome to Pelican Perch!
4 bedroom, 2.5 bath luxurious beach house only 1/2 mile (2 minute drive or 10 minute walk) to the emerald waters and sugary white sands, with no roads to cross!! Located along Scenic 98 in the Miramar Beach community of Destin. Gulf Pines is a quiet hidden gem, tucked away from the crowds and offers private beach access and parking for Gulf Pines homeowners only, and their guest.
Conveniently located to a variety of family friendly dining, shopping and entertainment. The Silver Sands Premium Outlet is 1 mile and you’re minutes away from Destin Commons, Big Kahuna Water Park, The Village of Baytowne Wharf, Harbor Walk Village and much more. So many options, but so little time!
Start the mornings off by sipping coffee on the wrap around front porch while enjoying the quiet community of Gulf Pines. Tastefully decorated throughout, to include a fully equipped kitchen with premium appliances, gas stove, and granite counter tops. Connecting the living room, dining room (seats 8), and kitchen bar (seats 3), you will have no shortage of space, for a nice meal and good conversation. The living room comfortably seats 8 and has a large 70" flat screen TV viewable from both the living room and kitchen/bar. If you must do laundry while you are here, the large laundry room with a front load washer and dryer will make the job easier.
When you're not at the beach, you'll enjoy the spacious backyard, private pool 15x30 (heating option available) with outdoor dining, and pool loungers. We have both gas and a charcoal grill for convenience and preference. Pelican Perch offers all the comforts of home, but all the vacation amenities one would expect.

We came to Destin for our grandson’s beach wedding. The home was clean and just perfect for our family of nine adults and two children. The swimming pool was awesome and the golf cart was perfect for trips to the beach. We all really enjoyed our stay and would love to return again in the future!

We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful property. Everything was clean and the property manager was quick to answer any questions. Close to the beach. Gulf cart is a must, making trips to the beach easy. Pool was very nice and house has a nice sized yard. Definitely would stay here again. Beach area was nice and not too busy. We were able to put up our canopy on the beach to allow for shade. Neighborhood is very nice and quiet.

Great house, beach, pool! Exactly what we were looking for. Golf cart is a must! House layout is great. Kitchen fully stocked. One small issue with the washing machine and host response was immediate. Highly recommend this house!

We really enjoyed our stay at this home! It’s a great location just outside of Destin , so it’s a little more quiet. The home was very clean with amazing finishes, the kitchen was stocked well with all the things you would need, and we really enjoyed the outside spaces and the front porch!!! The pool area has adequate seating and it was nice to have some yard space for yard games. The home is somewhat of a walk to the beach (carrying all the beach essentials) so it was nice to have the golf cart as an option to get there much easier. Also we loved that we didn’t have to worry about parking it at the beach , there was always parking available. The owners and management of these property are great , for the most part prior to our trip they were great at getting back to us with our questions about the property, and during our stay they were very prompt with any communication we had with them! We would definitely recommend this property to others!!! Destin is an amazing vacation spot!

This has become our families favorite vacation location. The house is modern, clean and is located is a perfect location. My girls love the private pool and the chairs at the beach are perfect for Starbucks with my wife every morning. The property managers are very responsive. We can’t wait until next year!

We loved this property and especially enjoyed the quiet neighborhood and friendly residents. Easy access to private beach and also enjoyed pool at house. Shopped and dined in Destin in spite of the crowds and traffic. Great choices also near the property. We also enjoyed massages at The Hilton. Great day snapper fishing with Backcoumtry Outfitters limiting out with our guide Jeremy! Grandsons enjoyed parasailing and the go carts and arcade/amusement park in Destin. Kiley was very helpful and prompt with questions I had prior to arrival. It was a wonderful week making memories at this beautiful home!

We really enjoyed this property!! From the very beginning the owners had great communication. And they checked on us multiple times during our stay. They informed us of places to go for certain things. The house was awesome overall and the pool came in clutch when we didn't want to go to the beach. The private access to the beach was also worth it there was always spots available to set up and enjoy it without all the crowds.

Pelican Perch was better than expected. First, the pictures of the property are beautiful; but in person, the house is stunning. My whole family enjoyed staying there. It was an amazing house for all ages.
The golf cart option is a must. It makes trips down to the beach very easy and convenient. Plus, it’s a nice way to see the community.
The homeowners were wonderful throughout the entire process. Easy to contact and very hospitable.
We will definitely stay at Pelican Perch again!

Spring break 2023 was a delightful week for our family. When we arrived, we found Pelican Perch was just as described in the listing. It is a lovely house in an adorable neighborhood. The golf cart and private beach access made our many trips to the beach a breeze. The heated pool was so nice especially a few days when the air temperature was a bit cool for staying at the beach all day. The kitchen has top of the line appliances and we were able to cook meals with ease. We had abundant space to spread out with our family of 5. The location was perfect for us as we enjoy spending time at the beach but you are also so very close to an abundance of shopping, food, and entertainment. Our #1 priority when traveling is finding a place that is truly cleaned properly. Pelican Perch met our high expectations of cleanliness. If we ever travel to Miramar Beach FL again we will be staying at the Pelican Perch.

I love the feeling when you open the door and you know you made the right choice to stay at this house. Great layout and we all loved the private pool. You are close to the Whataburger which is plus and the proximity to the beach was great. The golf cart is a must and the access to the private beach was well worth the cost!

We have vacationed in this area of the panhandle for well over twelve years. Hands down, this is the best place we have ever stayed! The neighborhood is a hidden gem. We have stayed on/near ‘private’ beaches before (where all the hundreds of homes and condos have access), but now we are spoiled. This neighborhood has its own actual private access, and they take it seriously. The beach was nearly empty, truly private. Don’t let the fact that this house is not directly on the beach stop you from staying here! The golf cart makes it a quick trip (literally 2 minutes) with golf cart parking right at the access gate, and it makes hauling beach toys and bags so easy! This spoiled us, too. So fun and convenient!
This home is missing nothing! It is truly exceptional, and the cleanest place we have ever stayed! The hosts were incredibly friendly and have paid so much attention to detail in their home. Quality is superb! The beds and linens are comfy. The kitchen is stocked. Plenty of seating in the living area with large TVs throughout. Love the open concept, you don’t miss a thing!
That pool - WOW! This isn’t just any private pool. It is perfect! The deep end appeared to be 5 feet, which was perfect for swimming, but put my mind at ease with our kids. It was big with plenty of seating to lay, sit, rock, or picnic! The pool is almost always in the sunshine (absolutely perfect), but the decking on the side of the house is shaded, which means there is really a spot for everyone whether someone wants to sit in the shade and enjoy the view or layout and bask in the abundant sunshine! The stereos back there were so handy, too. Tons of yard space that we have never had while staying in Florida before.
They have thought of everything!!!

My family has been vacationing in the Destin area for over ten years, this is the best place we have stayed!! The house was so clean and updated. The pool was a big hit. The hidden gem of this neighborhood is the private beach! We will definitely be staying here again.

We stayed here for a week with our mostly grown kids and had a blast. The location is nice but not on the beach. That was fine with us as we used the golf cart to get back and forth as necessary. The rooms were all nice, kitchen could have used some larger pots and pans to feed a larger family but was otherwise nicely stocked. The pool was very refreshing after a day at the beach or out on the water. Overall we would definitely stay again if coming back to the Destin area.

The property was as advertised online-new, clean and beautifully decorated. The backyard pool area was so spacious and a HUGE hit with the family especially after a long day at the beach. Speaking of the beach, it was so nice having a gated entrance which lead to an uncrowded area to set up our tent and chairs unlike other parts of Miramar Beach. The only issue: there were no TV remotes to get NETFLIX etc.. However, the direct TV worked great and we were so busy doing other activities that it turned out not to be that big of a deal. The owner was extremely helpful with any questions, concerns or small fixes that needed to be addressed. The Gulf Pines neighborhood was safe, quiet and clean. I would definitely recommend Pelican Perch for a vacation in the Miramar Beach area.

Absolute perfect experience.
We stayed for a week in July with 4 other families. The house could not have been more perfect. Every detail has been thought out and taken care of. The owners were in contact at all times. The beach is about a half mile away so if you have children I would advise getting the golf cart as we did. Everything was new and clean. The pool is a great size and I love the location of the house. I will definitely be trying to book this house again. Thank you for our stay!

We enjoyed this house so much! It was very clean and up to date. The pool was amazing. The golf cart is a must and was so convenient. Kiley was so helpful with everything and just the best. The only thing this house lacked was another shower to make it a annual rental for us. Def recommend this house for your family vacation!

Family vacation
We stayed at this property for a family vacation (4 generations). The property was very clean, well maintained, and well stocked. The private beach access and pool really made this property stand out from the others in the area and they did not disappoint! The owners are very responsive making communication super easy, both before the trip and during. Tip: the back bedroom on the left is warmer than the other bedrooms.

Can't say enough about our amazing vacation. This home is so nice and clean, had everything we needed for our stay for the week. The communication was excellent with the entire management staff!!! Which helped me out greatly since this was our first time using VRBO. Private beach was another plus! I would definitely recommend this home/management. Thanks again for everything!! Perfect family beach house
The communication with the owners was fantastic from beginning to end! We had so many questions since this was our first family vacation with our adult children and grand babies. The house was perfect for our needs! We had never stayed in this area before and didn’t realize how crowded the beaches would be but not for us! With the private beach area for the Golf Pines houses, there was plenty of room for us!! The golf cart was very helpful since we only had one car for the 10 of us. Also loved just driving around and looking at houses! Most of all we loved the pool! It was definitely our favorite place to be all week! It there were any glitches, the owners were quick to fix whatever was needed! We would definitely stay there again!

We spent spring break at this property with our family & it was everything we wanted & more. The communication with the owners was incredible! They left a delicious treat for us upon arrival & were very quick to respond with any questions we had. The house was fully equipped with everything we needed for an awesome week!! The pool was perfect for relaxing & the kids enjoyed playing in it all day long! Having the yard was great as well! The golf cart was very helpful for quick rides to/from the beach. The location of the house made it easy for us to get to grocery stores, restaurants, shopping, etc. We loved every minute & would definitely stay at this home again!!!

Perfect Beach Vacation
The backyard pool was perfect, comfortable with the heated option, and felt safe with their safety features in place. We loved the privacy feel of the neighborhood, with it being close to many grocery stores, mini marts, restaurants, and fun family things to do! The private beach was so nice and just a 2 min golf cart ride away, 10 minute walk, easy peasy. The upstairs room was so great and fun for our little kids, but would also be comfortable for multiple adults willing to share a room too. The owners were extremely responsive and helpful both before and during our stay; and the house was beautiful, clean, and very comfortable. 5 star experience and we hope to come back!

Heaven on Earth
My only regret in writing this review is that the rating only goes up to 5 stars. I would give this property and management a 10/5 stars or more.
My entire family was burned out by the cold and snow we have been experiencing and desperately needed a beach getaway. We are still talking about our amazing experience and can't wait to return next year.
Communication with the property manager was outstanding! Upon arrival, we all felt like royalty. From the sweet beach buckets full of treats for my niece and nephew to the scrumptious cupcakes, we all felt like we were coming home.
I can't say enough about the location of this property as well. We were able to easily access the beach as well as shopping and restaurants nearby. Pelican Perch is also extremely quiet and allowed us all to have a restful and peaceful stay. The home is absolutely gorgeous inside and out including all the needed kitchen supplies to cook meals together.
We had a few issues with the internet and the property owners offered us the golf cart to use for the inconvenience. We were blown away by their generosity and effort to make our trip perfect. The golf cart ended up being a fun way to explore the neighborhood and arrive at the beach faster than walking. We can't thank you enough for being so generous and kind! You truly went above and beyond to make sure we were having a wonderful vacation.
Pelican Perch is by far at the top of my list for vacation rentals. Besides securing an amazing home to enjoy for your stay, you receive genuine people who truly care if you are having an exceptional time. Beautiful pool property near the beach
My best friend and I got away for a girls trip, this gorgeous home was perfect for us! The property was decorated beautifully, close to the beach and extremely clean! The heated pool was wonderful,, we were able to get in even on the chillier days. The beach was a short golf cart drive away, the private beach access was awesome! Beds were comfortable and location was close to everything, walking distance to a gas station to go get last minute treats and drinks for the beach. The owners were extremely helpful and very communicative which we appreciated, we would highly recommend!!!

Don’t pass this gem up!
We are a family of 6 (4 kids 13 and under) and had my brother come along to stay at Pelican Perch. The house was roomy and yet cozy. The decor was so beautiful, from the paint colors, artwork to the matching utensils and dishes! We had Thanksgiving while staying here and we had everything we needed to make a massive dinner! We loved the private beach and we were so thankful for the golf cart! You could totally walk to the beautiful beach but we have a daughter with medical needs so that was a blessing. We all loved the warm pool and spent a lot of time in it! The outdoor shower was nice to wash off the sand from out outings to the beach. The beds were comfy and the big yard was nice! We were close to everything! My oldest and I loved the shopping around the area and the restaurants were amazing! The owners Kiley and Lachelle were so amazing and made sure we had everything we needed and more! I’m telling you, you don’t wanna pass this property up! We were so sad to leave. We hope to come back soon! Thank you Lachelle and Kiley for everything!

Family Getaway
We absolutely loved our time at Pelican Perch. The house was super clean upon our arrival and everything looked as advertised but better. We had plenty of room to lounge around. We did a lot of cooking and the kitchen was fully stocked minus a cutting board. It was a little too cool to use the pool during our stay but it was nice to sit around the pool and enjoy the meticulously maintained backyard. The private beach access was close enough to walk to, even though we drove there most days to watch the sunsets. The bedrooms were very comfortable, so comfortable in fact we didn't catch any sunrises.
Kiley and Lachelle were awesome hosts! They promptly answered all of our questions and made sure that we were good. And the delivered gift was a very nice and tasty surprise.
We look forward to coming back next year.

Pelican Perch was everything pictured and MORE!!
I can’t say enough great things about this property, as well as the managers Kiley and Lachelle. The house was spotless, and nothing was left unthought of. The back yard with the private pool was wonderful, especially on days the beach had red flags. The walk to the beach is nice and peaceful and I love the private beach area. The golf cart made the commute to the beach easy on the days we didn’t want to walk without getting sand all in our vehicles. The pavilion at the beach was nice when you wanted to relax at the beach without getting more sun. Management was always very prompt to answer any questions we had and gave wonderful recommendations of their favorite places, etc. I almost forgot to mention the location is perfect as well…shopping, dining and groceries is only a couple minutes drive away. Some are within walking distance. This is definitely one of the best places we’ve rented and we give it a 10/10. We will 1000% stay here again and recommend it to family and friends! Thank you pelican perch for all the memories our family made!

We had a wonderful time at Pelican perch this summer. The home is the perfect size for our multi aged family. The pool was our favorite place to hang out! We loved having the golf cart to get us to the beach. Management was very quick and responsive to any needs we had during the week. And also told us about all the favorite hot spots for dinner or lunch!! Thanks for a wonderful stay!!!!

Amazing House and AMAZING Time in Miramar Beach!
This property couldn’t have been any more perfect for my family and I. Kiley and Lachelle were amazing owners of this rental and made everything perfect for us. First things first, the house was immaculate upon entering. Secondly, they were kind enough to gift my one year old son and my 6 month old niece sand toys for the beach, a box of cupcakes for everyone, and even got “nurse” cookies for my wife and I since she found out my wife and I were nurses. How awesome and kind is that! The pool was perfect to lounge around and to swim in, and the golf cart was perfect to drive down to the private beach. The house is perfectly located is a small residential area that’s not dee in a tourist area, which is perfect for us. There was grocery stores, restaurants, and shopping in a short distance. This place couldn’t have been better and we will definitely stay here again when we visit again!
