Best Day Ever! is now larger and more beautiful. Please inquire before you book - this is a unique property and we want to make sure this house is appropriate for your family.
Best Day Ever consists of a main house (4 king suites/3 Bunk room), guest house, private pool (heated/cooled for additional cost), and an outdoor kitchen with both a Big Green Egg and a gas grill. The main house has a 1st floor king master suite with a private bath. This bedroom has a high-end Tempur-Pedic mattress for your added comfort. The second bedroom on the 1st floor is also a King suite and has a beautiful bathroom that is shared as the common bath on the 1st floor of the house. The second floor of the main house has two additional king suites. The 2nd Floor master has a large bathroom with a double vanity, a makeup station, and a walk in closet. The 2nd floor has an additional bathroom that is shared between the 2nd King suite and the Bunk room on the 3rd floor. The 3rd floor of the house is a bunk room with a nautical theme. Please be aware that the top bunk is approximately 10ft above the floor and we do not believe this bunk is appropriate for a young child due to it's height - please plan accordingly. Each bedroom in the house has a smart tv that can access all the normal cable channels via Xfiniti's streaming service as well as Netflix/Hulu/and many other services. The kitchen in the main house has Viking appliances and everything you could want to make your own gourmet meals at home. The guest house includes 2 Queen suites with their own private baths. There is also a kitchen and living room. The guest house has an additional laundry setup. Best Day Ever has it's own private swimming pool that can be heated (or cooled) for an additional fee. For the summer evenings - the left drive has an outdoor kitchen with a Big Green Egg and a natural gas grill. There is lighting that makes this a great place to hang out on warm summer evenings. We provide our guest with Beach Service for 4 year-round and provide additional chairs you can take to the beach. Speaking of the beach - you are directly across the street from it and can be there is just a minute or two. This is our dream house and we hope you will love and respect it as much as we do.
This year the neighborhood of Carillon Beach will be charging guest $36 per week for each car for all rentals. The guest will be responsible for this charge and we will communicate the process to all guest as we get more details on this change for 2024.

We loved this house so much! We will definitely be back! The proximity to the beach was perfect! The house was clean, beds are so comfortable, plenty of hot water and towels! We have a large family and everyone had their own personal space. The kitchen was fully stocked and the owners were wonderful to work with!

There were 11 of us to stay here and it was a perfect house! Very quick walk to the beach, very responsive owners when we had issues (AC went out but was fixed the following day), beach was not crowded, overall was great! The only thing I would say is we went to use the firepit one day and the gas lasted maybe 15 mins and ran out and was told to grab some ourselves as they dont keep extra propane on site. Understandably this is something that is difficult to keep stocked but after only using for 15 mins and then not knowing how much we would use it, didnt seem worth it so because of that we didnt get to sit outside and enjoy that area as we would have liked to. I would recommend this as a great place to go!

Perfect stay. Heated pool a must. Plenty of bedrooms for everyone. Owner very attentive The only complaint is too few chairs and too small table and living area for size of house and the number of people allowed. But I think that is a common issue in houses at this beach. We had a great time.

We have stayed in 5 different houses in our 7 trips to Carillon Beach. We loved the location of Best Day Ever. Owners were very easy to communicate with and very responsive. Enjoyed the outdoor spaces, The fire.pit was perfect for cooler nights!

Best Day Ever is a great house! It has everything you need and was perfect for two families (4 adults and 4 kids aged 2-8). The owners were incredibly responsive to our questions and provided amble information for our stay. Would absolutely stay at the house again!

Best Day Ever was just perfect for our family. We enjoyed the pool and the short distance to the beach. Plenty of room for everyone! The house is beautiful, and we cooked many meals in the kitchen. We especially loved the speaker system which was a fun surprise!

We have been staying at different houses on 30A for the last 14 years. This house is our favorite! It is beautifully decorated and the kitchen is well designed and equipped. The beds are so comfortable! It is also a short walk to the beach. We loved the pool and the teens loved the community pools as well. Communication with the owners was easy. We highly recommend this house.

Charles and Lisa were excellent hosts! Their beautiful home was very well appointed with many upgrades. Kitchen appliances, dishes, cutlery etc were so nice. All the extra touches are there. Decor is lovely and the beds are outstanding in the main house. Really enjoyed the many outdoor spaces and salt water pool. Tne carriage house is adorable… all the decor etc. They offered many new and newish beach chairs and boogie boards / toys. Everything was super clean. So close to tne beach walk over. Highly recommend renting from Charles and Lisa! Thank you for a great week!

Our group of three families stayed here for spring break and had an amazing time. Everything was perfect and communication with the hosts was very simple. The house is right across the street from the beach and a very short walk to beach access. I would highly recommend and we hope to stay here again next year.

Home was beautifully decorated, very clean and provide all the conveniences you would need within a home, from comfy king size beds to fully equipped kitchens and lots of beach towels! Enjoyed a wonderful family and friends vacation at a location steps away from the beach! We spent a lot of nights just hanging out on their front porch enjoying the night air.

This was just what we needed. It was a perfect get-away for our family. Our youngest son had just graduated H.S. and is shipping out to the Air Force soon and this was perfect for what could be a last family get together for some time. The pool was perfect and a great relaxing spot for us all. The house and guest house was super comfortable. One of the best family vacations we have had. Highly recommend.

What started as a rocky check in (previous renters showed absolute disregard for any following renters as well as the home owners- this was no fault of the owners) quickly turned into the best vacation we have ever had! The owners drove well into the night from TN to remedy the situation and truly went above and beyond! This house is absolutely phenomenal and the beds slept amazingly! The pool was such a great bonus for the kids during beach breaks and the front porch was ideal for planting yourself with a good book! Not to mention the location is fantastic-the gated community is perfect for family walks and the home is just a few steps to a pristine uncrowded beach! We loved our stay and it most definitely turned into The Best *Week* Ever !

Best WEEK Ever! When can we come back?!
Our family LOVED staying at Best Day Ever! We have visited Carillon Beach numerous times, and this was our favorite trip and house yet. We had 3 families with small children and two sets of grandparents. Let me tell you why we all had a blast!
Being just off the ocean was great - it wasn't ever too windy, and we were able to spend a lot more time together outside at night. It was still only steps away to two walkovers and our beach chairs. We never missed having a house on the beach!
The POOL was the perfect size for our beginning swimmers. It was enough room for quite a few of us to be in the water at the same time, but small enough that one adult could easily watch the kids and never be too far away to keep things safe.
Lots of spaces to congregate allowed us to all be together when we wanted to eat or hang out, but also gave spaces for smaller groups to congregate separately - by the grill, by the pool, on the porches, in the separate living rooms, in the kids room for movie night, etc.
The hosts were super responsive to ALLLL the questions that come with having so many people staying at a property, which I really appreciated as the point person.
We're already talking about coming back and everyone said they'd want to stay here again!

Best Day Ever for sure!
Best Day Ever is conveniently located across from two beach walkovers, just two easy minutes to the beach. The kitchen is filled with anything you’ll need, and the beds are more comfortable than any at home. The pool is larger than expected and lovely at night. Ample parking, and outside space. The owners were very accessible to address concerns. House was spic and span when we arrived, and met our needs perfectly.

Great House
This was a great place!! We had two families with us and we fit comfortably in the house. The beach was right there and because the weather was cool, we had the pool that the kids spent a ton of time in.
Check in was simple and communication was fantastic. We will definitely be looking to book again when we go back down.

The Best Day Ever!
We visited this property for a 40th Birthday Family Getaway for my sister. There was more than enough space and the home was beautiful. Although we had to reach out to the property owners several times, the answers were already laid out in a book they had left in the house. It was a lot to read and I admit that if I hadn't just skimmed through it and read it thoroughly I probably could have answered all of my own questions . lol. Overall Property owners answered quicker than i could even remember to go back and look for their responses.
The home is very convenient to the beach and just steps away. We did come during a cold front so we did not get to enjoy the pool or the beach water but we did get a chance to stroll the beach on one day that it got up to 70 degrees.
My favorite part of this home was the mattress that your body sinks into when you lay down for rest. A guaranteed good nights rest was always guaranteed. And not just in one bedroom, Everyone bedroom had the same quality of a mattress.
My husbands favorite part was the showers. He's a big guy and he said that the comfort of being in a shower that he can breath and move around at the same time was refreshing for him.
My sisters favorite part was the décor. She loved the coordination and the value that the owners put into this home. It is evident that the owners take Pride in their home.
My nephews favorite part was the kids bedroom. Very unique set up that made sleep time fun.
My brother in law enjoyed the grill and was looking forward to sitting out at the fireplace. That may have been the only disappointment. There was no propane for the fireplace. We would have had to taken the taken the tank to the local grocery and get a replacement on our own for 22 bucks and not that that would have been an issue, we were just too darn lazy to do that when the time came for us to do so.
My mothers favorite part of this home was simply the fact that no-one had to be separated and sleep in the guest house. lol. Although it is very close in proximity it does give a sense of separation, i guess. Some of our guest canceled at the last minute so we did not get to use the guest house for sleeping quarters but we did utilize it for a surprise Birthday Dinner for my sister. That made it very convenient to surprise her with decorations and set up for an actual dinner party that she had no clue about. And I loved everything about this!
So I definitely recommend this property.

Beautiful Home
I stayed in this house is 15 family members ranging in age fro 4 to 63. The house is amazing and has an wonderful layout for a big group. Loved the location and the ease of check-in. Working with the owners could not have been easier. Lisa was always very responsive to all of my inquiries. If you are traveling with a large group I would definitely recommend this house!

Truly The Best Days Ever
BEST DAY EVER is a beautiful house with every thing you need for a wonderful family vacation. The bedrooms are all good size with each having it own bathroom. The master suite is absolutely amazing! The kitchen is equipped with all amenities you would need. The grill and green egg were perfect for summer meals. The walkover to the beach was a short walk. The pool is striking with its colored lights and fountains. The front porch was the best. Big enough for all to sit around and relive the memories that were made each day!! It's name is perfect for this house. Everyone is friendly and the security provided makes yo feel safe .Over all a great place to stay.
