About this house rental
Enjoy some time away with your family in this quiet, rustic and spacious home, just minutes from 7-Springs. This newly remodeled, exposed beam rustic cabin with vintage charm is located 6 miles from 7-Springs Resort and close to Hidden Valley. Gather the family around one of three fireplaces, enjoy baking cookies in the large kitchen, and let your dogs out to play in the large yard. Three bedrooms upstairs with several beds or pull outs, along with couches and a bed on the bottom floor. Rustic, older home with recent upgrades throughout and lots of room to relax inside and out.

Beautiful home with plenty of room to accomodate my friends and I. Alot of parking space, 3 bathrooms and well supplied.

The property was as advertised. We found the beds and linens top notch and very comfortable. There are plenty of blankets and plenty of places to stretch out on a couch or recliner for a snooze in front of a fire. It is a relatively short drive to Seven Springs for skiing and many great hikes within a 30 minute drive. I hope it's available the next time we are in the area.

This house was great for our family celebration. We had relatives from Ohio, Indiana and Brazil join us so we could combine Christmas celebration and daytime skiing in 7 Springs. The house was comfortable, clean with enough room for everyone. There was plenty of kitchen supplies, linens, towels. We had a great time.

Overall it was good. Bedrooms didn’t quite work for us, but we made do. Great fence in area for dogs, and young kids.

The main drawback was that the stairs were difficult to negotiate & since all bedrooms are upstairs, everyone has to use them.

Lovely and comfortable property. We’ll equipped kitchen. Short and easy drive to Seven Springs Ski Resort. Firewood provided that allowed us to have a fire going each night.

Great time had by all!
We had 3 families coming from 3 different cities to do a weekend get together. The house was great! We had plenty of room for everyone as well as my 2 dogs. The owner was great at responding immediately and met all of our needs and exceeded our expectations by providing us lots of firewood! We will be looking into coming back next year!

This is a great place to stay to ski at either 7springs or Hidden valley. The home has lots of great places to hang out inside and outside and a huge, well-stocked kitchen.

Large Comfortable Home - Well Equipped
We only had 4 friends in this home but it could handle more comfortably. Everything that we needed was supplied, from cookware to firewood. The upstairs bedrooms were huge and the 2 bathrooms were very modern. We really enjoyed sitting around the fire pit.

Great place for our wedding weekend!
This place was perfect! Rustic feel up in the mountains that was very clean and had anything and everything you could possibly need that made it feel very homey! My sister was getting married this weekend and some of us were in the bridal party and we live over an hour away. We have 2 very large dogs (Great Dane and English mastiff) and the fenced in yard and all the little extras were perfect for my girls. Our kids enjoyed the yard and fire pit. The house had plenty of room and was spacious for all 6 of us and plus our 2 dogs. I’m just sad that we didn’t have more time to enjoy at the house! Such a great weekend stay!

Incredible stay and lovely area!
We had such a great time at the Shangri-La! First, the owners are incredible to work with, super responsive, friendly and so hospitable (like leaving plenty of wood for us to use!). All of the appliances are top of the line and the bathrooms are like visiting a spa. The fenced in yard and fire pit were amazing. There are a couple of trees the perfect distance a part for you to hang your own hammock. There were some comments on this listing about the rear of the property not looking great. It's a reformed tennis quart, basketball court. It was actually fun for our family to use for a little exercise! I am glad I didn't listen to the reviews because it almost prevented me from booking our family's wonderful vacation. The location is also perfect, by the way. It's the perfect distance for so many attractions like caverns, waterfalls, hikes, white water rafting. I highly recommend this place. We hope to rent it again, maybe next time in the winter! Thank you again for a lovely stay.

Great Stay!
We came as a family with our two dogs. This was the best equipped house that I have ever rented. Loved the fenced in yard for our dogs. The fire pit was great, as the weekend was not very good weather. The house was quite lovely and suited us all.
I would highly recommend this home.

Great property. Great location.
This property was even better then my family and I expected. This was exactly the weekend we needed away from the chaos. We loved the fire places and all the wood the property owner provided. I would definitely stay here again. This home has everything you need so you can just relax and enjoy the area.

Ski Weekend
We had a wonderful experience overall. Very close drive to Seven Springs. Perfect for our group of 8-9 people ages 26-34. Plenty of parking space. Two refrigerators. The cabin feel we were looking for. Very clean with amenities as described. Updated spacious bathrooms. Easy check in and out. Rules well laid out. Only things preventing a 5/5 review is the state of backyard mentioned in other reviews; I would suggest hanging curtains along back wall near kitchen table to obscure the view. And fireplace grate in living room not functioning properly thereby preventing us from being able to safely light a fire when cozying up in the living room with blankets after a long day hitting the slopes.

Thanks for a great stay! We loved the giant fire place in this unique property. Owners were responsive and friendly, and place was easy drive to 7 springs.
