โThe Salty Shackโ by Five Salty Souls...a haven that will take your breath away as you step out your door to the glistening emerald waters and white sandy beaches. After a long three month project, it has undergone a total renovation with no expense left out to achieve our dream of a modern beach shack vibe. From the moment you walk in the front door, we hope you are transported by the calming and cozy boho style.
This ground floor, one bedroom, 1.5 bath condo is directly on Crystal Sands Beach. Located at Crystal Sands Condominium, Unit 102 B, in the East building.
โThe Salty Shackโ features an open floor plan with the fully renovated kitchen and family room overlooking the gulf. There is plenty of space for everyone to be able to gather together.
The built in bunk in the hallway is composed of an upper twin bed, and the lower bed is a Double. We added an additional door in the hallway that essentially creates a second bedroom space when all the doors are closed. The โbunk roomโ also has a new tv to create the perfect movie nook!
The private master bedroom is equipped with a King SLEEP NUMBER bed and custom built closet and floating dresser. Beautiful rolling barn doors allow for extra bathroom space.
There is also an additional Queen pull out sofa bed available (with a thick memory foam mattress, no coils).
The kitchen features beautiful Quartz counter tops, floating shelves, and subway tiled walls. It is fully equipped for all your cooking needs and additionally, has a reverse osmosis water system to provide filtered water on those hot days!
Enjoy your morning coffee on the private patio watching the sun rise, or relax in the cozy living room after a day of fun in the sun with the complimentary cable and WIFI.
As you stroll into one of the two 1/2 baths, youโll be greeted by the beachy stained shiplap walls and custom built floating shelves and vanities. The two half baths lare connected to each other via the tub/shower and washer/dryer room. For those who enjoy taking a hot bath, the tub features a great deep soak.

Beautiful condo. The renovations are all with the comfort and convenience of the guests in mind. Being so close to the beach was great. Communication from the owner was prompt and courteous. We have two young boys who can often be hard to please, but they both proclaimed this โBest vacation EVER!โ Iโm inclined to agree with them. Highly recommend this booking.

As a Florida native, this reminded me of growing up at my parentโs beach home! Waking up & seeing the ocean, allowing my older boys to run to the beach without me, because I could see them from the porch. Hungry, no big deal, you can be inside & have a sandwich made within minutes! THIS is what being at the beach means. The idea of walking 4 blocks & crossing streets with kids, just to get to the beach, thatโs not a trip to the beach. A trip to the beach is being ON the beach. Not only is Salty Shack on the beach, itโs absolute perfection! The details & love that went into the renovation are so evident! This is the perfect spot for a family, girlfriendโs trip, etc. Parking directly in front of the unit made life so easy! Restaurants, Publix, outlet shopping, beach stores are all within a few minutes. There is nothing this place lacks, thank you Peyton for sharing your beautiful beach place with us. We look forward to returning & creating more memories!!

This is by far our favorite condo we have ever stayed in! The location was phenomenal! They seriously put so much thought into every detail! Peyton called before we even got there to go over things and was so friendly! We will be back for sure!!

This property has earned all of the 5 star reviews, it is even better in person! Peyton was super responsive amd attentive. The unit is very well stocked with anything you could need. Plenty of linens, cookware, even access to a broom and vacuum for all the sand that inevitably comes back with you. Beds are very comfortable. The upgardes are so well thought out, they really maximized every inch of space they could. We would love to revisit this property!! Book it, you will NOT regret it.

Absolutely Amazing! This was our fifth time to visit Destin and our third time at the Crystal Sands condo. โThe Salty Shackโ was by far the best place we have stayed! Newly renovated, everything was so modern, clean, and nicely labeled. Of course, this is a ground floor unit thatโs right on the beautiful, white sand, private beach. We love the beach chair service and only being a couple steps from going to your condo to get something to eat or use the restroom. Itโs so convenient! Peyton, the owner, is very pleasant to talk to and helpful! It doesn't get any better than this! We love Destin with all of the shopping, activities, and amazing food. The best thing I can say is that we loved The Salty Shack so much that we already booked it again for next year! Donโt hesitate, book now!

This condo was beautifully remodeled and had everything we needed for our stay. Steps away from the beach, beach service, and comfortable seating in the patio. We will definitely try to stay in this condo again.

My husband and I loved this rental so much! The owners really outdid themselves on every detail! We really admired the craftsmanship! First and foremost, the view and proximity to the open water was tops! Also super convenient to shopping and dining! The entire rentalโs furnishings from the kitchen to the bedrooms lacked nothing! Even the cabinet door knobs were made of sea glass and so cute! We rented a golf cart and that made our trip even more fun because the weather wasnโt great and had 2 days of double red flags. Peyton was super responsive and offered great suggestions!

My mother, daughter and I took a Destin girls trip to RELAX and we did just that in this perfectly clean, comfortable, adorable condo right on the beach.
Great thought has gone into planning for every detail and need of a beach vacationer. Great newly remodeled decor/design, and parking was simple as well.
My mother, who recently injured knee was worried about distance and difficulty getting to beach. This place was about as good as it gets! Steps to a short walkway to beach, with only a few stairs and gradual incline.

The condo was beautifully renovated. A ground floor unit in a smaller building with a private beach that had all of the amenities without the crowds. It was a good location with access to restaurants. Cabinets were well labeled so we didn't have to search for items. It was a great trip and we will return.

This location cannot be beat! Even though itโs a first floor unit. Itโs built up high and views are wonderful. The recent renovation is fantastic. Everything has a place and there are so many hooks for towels and wet suits, etc. Peyton put a lot of love into this place, and you can tell. The bunk area is so spacious and well-thought out with plugs, wall lamps and a little nook. The 2 separate toilet and sink area was really convenient, even though there is only 1 shower/tub. The master is cozy and the new built-in closets are perfect for vacation. The kitchen is well appointed and had everything we needed to cook at the condo. The sofa was comfy and spacious for our family of 3 to spread out. The beach chairs are literally a 1 minute walk from the condo, so itโs super convenient to run back up for more snacks or the restroom. Easy and ample parking (in October). Oh, and everything is labeled so you know where to store things! We loved it and will definitely be back.

Everything about our vacay was easy & effortless. Peyton checked on us before, during & after our stay at the Salty Shack. So much attention to details in this unit. Plenty of storage, lots of hooks for hanging stuff and labels on cabinets/drawers (telling contents) are a few features that help keep things tidy & organized. Decor has a beachy feel without being "overdone". Lots of cool features in the hallway bunk area. Each bed has an outlet for charging devices & a nook for storage, plus a reading light. Also a tv that is visible for both beds. Would definitely recommend the Salty Shack!

We got to Crystal beach annually, this has to be my favorite condo yet! Every inch in the condo is maximized with the clever layout and use of storage. The decor had enough seating and open layout to allow everyone to comfortably hang out in the kitchen and living area. This is definitely one I will try to rent again.

Family of 5, to include our 22 year old daughter, 15 year old son and 11 year old daughter. Plenty of space, smart and attractive updates, useful features, conveniently located for loading and unloading personal items from car to unit and the first floor beach access is beyond amazing. The kitchen is well equipped, everything worked and the filtered water saved us so much time lugging around water bottles! Perfect in every way! We have definitely found our spot for years to come! Oh, and Peyton reached out a few days prior to our arrival to go over everything and confirm our stay. We keep tin close communication during the entire stay and she was beyond helpful. From the moment you walk into this condo you can notice all the little details that this condo has. The owners must of walked through the condo and literally put themselves in their guest perspectives and thought how they could make everything comfortable and convenient for their future guest and they nailed it. Everything was well constructed and the attention to detail was very nice. We got some rainy days and my husband said he did not minded staying stuck inside the condo for days from how much he liked it. Peyton is very friendly, and you can tell even from the call we received a few days before our stay. Weโve stayed in Crystal sands condos for 3 years in a row and this condo has been our favorite stay by far, totally, totally recommended!

The owners thought of everything to make sure our experience was uncomparable. Felt just like home!
