The property is in an amazing location, it feels secluded and miles away from the hustle and bustle. Perfect for a relaxing break. The property owner was very responsive to messages and resolved a issue we had very quickly. It was well equipped with everything we needed.
The guests in the other property next door were inconsiderate and clearly did not read the quiet hours from 10pm-8am. Our relaxation was ruined by an all night party in which they had several others turn up in the night and loud music. This is through no fault of the property or owners, just disrespectful guests.
The bath robes in our property were dirty, still damp and had holes in them. They needed replacing.

The surrounding were spectacular, beautiful trees and a peaceful serene environment. I liked the check in and check out process of just letting ourselves in and locking up ourselves. The bed was very comfortable and the delivery of fire wood was wonderful.
It was nice but pricey for a place with the little touches missing. Only one of the beds was fully made up and ready to sleep in, there was a wide variety of fruit teas/green tea but no regular tea. The tap in the shower was missing so we realised at the last minute we couldn’t use it.m, noisy fridge that blended out the lovely nature sounds. Nothing major that prevented us enjoying the trip but the little touches that made the cost of the cabin feel high.

Amazing location.
Loved being able to go for a lil stroll around the grounds. We were in a lil oasis.
The bin was full of dirty nappies when we got there.
The towel rack was broken.
The outdoor bath was dirty.

The location was absolutely stunning, being tucked away in beautiful dense treefern and eucalytus forest, with lots of space between the cottages to allow a feeling of privacy and retreat. We stayed in Brook Cottage which had two nice sized bedrooms, a lovely living area with an incredibly efficient Nectre wood fire and an excellent kitchen with lots of benchspace. The views from every window were glorious.
The mattress was too soft and springy for my liking and the fridge very noisy. This was not a problem at night to sleep with the bedroom door closed. Also the pantry door swings open on its own - just needs a latch.

So peaceful and quiet. There were so many different types of birds too, and there was a bird feeder outside your window.

Loved the heating floor , the electric blankets, the fire place , the beautiful birds , the beautiful views from all windows, the big bath the .
Was a beautiful and peaceful place to stay
There wasn't anything I didn't like but I would say that the instructions for collecting Key and pin code wasn't great or clear . But after calling the host that has very helpful they gave instructions and pin code so was able to get into the property.

It was very secluded, private and cosy. Overall, a very comfortable stay!

Beautifully nestled amongst the gums tress in the Dandenongs. Spa was lovely, however, chlorine was somewhat overwhelming. King Bed was very comfortable.
The drive in/out the property is a little precarious and I would have struggled if driving a manual car.
The kitchen is I’ll equipped with not enough crockery and very old and mismatched items that are there. We had three guests but were not enough plates, cups and serving bowls for dinner.
There are no cooking essentials oils, condiments and so on that we could find which is disappointing in a house setting.
Also minimal welcoming niceties only I small milk and a block of chocolate.
The property is lovely, however, furnishing in living spaces are very outdated and not set up in a functional manner.
It is tidy but not thoroughly cleaned with dead bugs along the window sills.
There is a lovely fireplace, however, the fireplace box was empty and fireplace had not been cleaned or prepared for our visit.
Spa was clean but chlorine was very overwhelming.
This accommodation is overpriced for what you receive.

Nothing.

Magical location and scenery

The only issue we found was the doorknobs and some skirting was loose. A little bit of general maintenance to repair some loose stuff would do wonders

Very poor communication on our arrival. We had zero response on the same day despite 2 calls, 2 messages on Bookings.com and 2 private texts. The owner sited poor health, but had no contingency. We arrived from interstate to find a space that was very small, and no linen, blanket, pillow or towels were provided for the third occupant, our son. The sofa bed was tatty and the fly wire door damaged at the bottom, so that it was not effective and the timber door had to remain closed. The owner offered to remediate on day 2 of our short 3 night stay, however we had already travelled to relatives to obtain what we needed for my son to sleep. The owner offered a partial refund to be processed on the 26th and again, zero follow up or confirmation this has been done (has not turned up in our account). A very poor experience that left a dampener on our Christmas trip.

Location and views were great. Beds were also comfortable and the place was clean. The towels and blankets were very clean which I appreciate. The fire place was great and kept us warm and comfy while watching the world cup on a massive TV with good connection.
Communication could have been better as I didn't know how to obtain the keys or the location of cottage. It was just fortunate that the host (?) or a worker was cleaning the cottage and told us where to go. She also mentioned that we arrived early ( 1:30 pm) . I sent a message twice that we were arriving at 1 pm and received confirmation from the host that it was okay. The person also mentioned it was a 6 person cottage and I booked for 6 adults and 1 child (15 yr old) but thank goodness two people pulled out which meant we only had 5 people. We would not have had room otherwise . Not enough beds, toilet and shower for seven people .

Property is well located with most amenities available except insufficient matches to ignite the stove.
The sofa bed in the living room (based on floor plan) as advertised on the website is not present. Some appliances may need to be clean more thoroughly. Next to Jaccuzi Cottage was occupied by a family with screaming kids which make sleeping-in hard in the morning.

Accommodation was neat and clean, Renee was so helpful and quick to reply.
Pleasantly surprised by the little friends who greeted us at the door on arrival and in the morning, just be careful to keep all lids on the birdseed containers closed as the resident cockatoo got a little impatient when we didn't feed him on time 😆
Keep your eyes peeled, you may see a deer come through the forest.
So quiet and peaceful, perfect for a girls weekend away.
Nothing at all. Was perfect!

the location was unbeatable. definitely what we wanted and couldn’t have asked for a better spot
we had a few little issues, nothing that out a damper on our stay though. The lounge set up was not super comfortable, but then we weren’t sitting around too much anyway.

Everything was great. I had thought that it would be cold at night, being in a forest but the heating was great and we were all very comfortable.
The biggest worry was the narrow and steep driveway down when we arrived, it took a bit of careful negotiating to turn the car around but once done a couple of times it was fine.

The property is surrounded by the tallest gum tree’s I’ve ever seen, very private, very serene just beautiful.

Beautiful spot within a tranquil forrest setting. Good communication from the host with excellent descriptors on how to get to the location and the spa was a lovely addition to its cosiness. The birdseed was a lovely touch, and we enjoyed our morning coffee with the Rosella's, parrots and cockatoos feasting on the verandah.
Woodfire stove door did not seal properly, so this meant the wood burnt through to quickly and didn't last. Couple this with the smoke alarm having been removed (before we arrived) could be a little dangerous.
