Really enjoyed our stay.
Very clean well stocked and organized.
It was a cold VT weekend but we were nice and snugly warm, loved the fireplace insert and all the seating for hanging out reading and playing games all together, it was my husband myself and five high school/college aged kids. It was not far from Mt Snow for skiing. Would love to come back in the future. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home.

This was our 2nd year at this cozy, comfortable, spacious and private home. Our family was able to spread out, be together and also private. Under 1/2 hr drive to Mt Snow. Close enough to food shopping. We were able to bring our dogs, and the property was large. Thanks again for the use of your home. We made wonderful memories. We had 4 generations on this trip. From an 81yr old grandma, to a 1 yr old great-granddaughter. Would definitely return.

This was by far our best vacation rental ever. The home was immaculate and very roomy for our family of 12. The kitchen is fully supplied with dishes cups etc. Bedrooms were a good size with very comfortable beds and good linens. Our family enjoyed skying trips to Mt Snow and ejoyed other outdoor activities. The owners were extremely friendly and helpful as well!! Thank you Marah!!

This property was perfect for two families with kids. There are different "wings" of the house for privacy/quiet for each family. The games in the family room were a hit with the kids. Kitchen was extremely well-stocked. The hosts were pro-active and incredibly responsive.

We enjoyed staying here to explore Vermont and other nearby locations. Plenty of room for our group of 8 to spread out after a day together. Lots of winding and hilly roads to get most places, so may not be the best location if you are prone to carsickness. Best surprise was a telescope that we used to find wind turbines and the sky full of stars.

Huge house on beautiful property near ski resort
We had a group of 10 and had so much room for all of us! The house was huge and gave us the private space we needed but also had plenty of common areas to relax and hang out as a group in. The house is older so be wary of dust allergies but otherwise it was clean. It was close to Mount Snow and in a secluded area. Hosts were easy to communicate with and check in was seamless!

Excellent way to reconnect with family
The wonderful farmhouse was just as described, no- better in person. Our family, 3 generations, spent a exceptional weekend at the property. The house and grounds were so comfortable that we never left all weekend. Everything we needed was there. The kitchen is well equipped. The bedrooms are large and comfortable. Everyone had fun and felt at ease. Would definitely recommend and hope to return.

Best VRBO we have ever experienced
Before I talk about the merits of this property for a southern VT stay, it's worth knowing that I am VERY particular about not feeling like the owners or other renters just left, leaving their detritus behind them. Instead of crumbs in the kitchen drawers and worn out furniture and light detritus, this home is clean, comfortable, not littered with the owners misc. stuff, and contains every single amenity a guest could need or want down to sharpened pencils at a desk whose drawers only contain useful items vs. mothballs and dust. There are new fans in every room, new easy to use windows set into the charm of an 1800s farmhouse, super comfy bedding and clean towels, throw pillows, blankets, cute dish ware, a kitchen fully stocked with tools, new grill etc. etc. It is the best mix of original antique charm (including a roaming floor plan you get lost in) and modern amenities. With all the bedrooms and bathrooms and corners to tuck into it would serve a group of friends or extended family well for coming together and then being able to have time apart. The land allows for kids and dogs to roam, while the gated and fenced back deck ensures containment when it's time to just chill or read or eat while enjoying the flora and fauna and gorgeous mountain view and sunsets. You feel a world apart from everything while being only minutes to major Vermont routes with hikes and restaurants and breweries, and only 30 mins from iconic towns to explore. The hosts were responsive, responsible, communicative, gracious, flexible, and friendly. We wouldn't hesitate to return!
