About this apartment rental

Cartiera is a centrally located self-catering apartment in the only complex (The Amalfi Vacation Residence) with a pool in the heart of Amalfi town, a only 5-minute walk from the beach, ferry, bus and taxi.

It has 3 bedrooms with 1 king-size and 2 queen-size beds (on request, we can provide 2 twin beds in each bedroom), 2 bathrooms (one with a bathtub and the other with a shower), an open space sitting and dining/kitchen area and a small outdoor space.

The apt includes a brand new air conditioning system (July 2023), heat, dishwasher, washing machine, internet, TV, and stereo.

Apartment Cartiera is located on the first floor of an elegant building in the historic center of Amalfi. There are only 20 steps to reach it.

Also at guests' disposal
- A new pool with sun loungers and towels (open from March 28th to the beginning of November, weather permitting);

- Large and beautifully furnished outdoor spaces;

The pool is located across the road from the apartment.

LOCATION
The apartment is well located just a 2-minute walk from Amalfi's shops, restaurants, and cafes while the main square, the beach, the bus station, the taxi stand and the ferries are just 5 minutes on foot.
You can easily visit Positano, Capri and all the other towns along the coast.

Parking is chargeable and starts at a rate of EUR 35 per day and may vary based on vehicle size and season.

Confirmation Policy :
For the definitive confirmation of the reservation, a deposit of 50% of the total amount of the stay (+ service fee) is required at the moment of the booking, through HOMEAWAY/VRBO reservation system.

The balance will be paid on arrival.

Check-in: any day of the week from 2.30 PM to 8.30 PM.
For arrivals from 8.30 pm to 11.00 pm, an additional fee of €25 will be charged.
For arrivals AFTER 11.00 pm, the fee increases to €50
Check-out (any day of the week) is by 10.00 AM.
A different time can be agreed, upon according to the availability

Its a nice place with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. We were a group of 4 adults and 2 small children. There was plenty of space for us all. The apartment was a little old and but very clean. I liked the location. Its a 2 min walk from the busy area which is great because it was quite, but you are not far away from all the shops and restaurants. Its also a short walk down a hill to the beach. Pool access was also great for the times we just wanted to relax with the kids. Great management! If there were any issues or questions they were easy to contact. If you want to stay in Amalfi and dont mind walking a bit this is the best place to stay. I would stay here again.

Nice location of this large unit that accommodated 6 of us. The host was always responsive within minutes to any questions or comments that I might have. The pool was perfect for the kids. There are a fair amount of stairs for those that may have any issues to bear in mind. Giuseppe met us at the marina and helped us bring our luggage to the unit. We were well take. Care of and were greeted with a bottle of wine and a basket full of snacks!

I can't say enough about how much I loved staying in this villa and how perfect it was for our family of 5, 2 adults and 3 teenagers. It was beautiful, spacious, and the location was perfect for us being in the heart of Amalfi. We truly felt like we lived like the locals for a full week, enjoying all the little cafes and shops around us. The pool was also a wonderful thing to have during a very hot July. Vincenzo was so accommodating and responsive to our every need. He gave us so many wonderful suggestions and arranged so many of our reservations and transfers for us. I would highly recommend staying here!

We really enjoyed staying at this very spacious apartment in the heart of the village. It had everything we needed for our stay, and the snack basket provided by the host was much appreciated after a long trip. We loved trying all the local restaurants and gelato shops. My only recommendation would be that the listing include information about driving a car into the LTZ, because there are times of the day that are blocked for driving. In all, it was a wonderful stay in a great area. Thank you!

Our group loved the apartment which was very spacious, comfortable and thoughtfully appointed. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked including a variety of snacks and condiments for our use. The location was great and very easy to get to from the port. We all felt very safe going home each night. Giuseppe greeted us at the port and showed us to the apartment as well as going through all of useful info about our place. We didn’t use the pool but it looked very inviting and is just a short walk across the path from our entrance.

Great location in Amalfi that is only a couple minute walk from the beach/ferry/etc. The apartment was very clean and had plenty of room for 6 people. It was too cold to use the pool, however, it looked like it would be a great addition in warm weather and has a very cool garden with chairs and tables to hang out. Highly recommend this place.

This was an amazing apartment in such a great location. A few minutes walk to the restaurants and ferry. The apartment had everything we needed and the pool was a great spot to refresh at the end of the hot summer days. The hosts communicated well and getting access to the apartment was very easy. We really enjoyed our stay here and would highly recommend.

We loved Amalfi…first time there, we climbed 175 steps to apartment ..this time 31 which was perfect for one person with a sore hip. Very close to everything. 3 younger adults went up to Pantone ..wanted to go to Ravello but …? Still had a great hard hike. The apartment and neighbourhood grocers had everything we needed to cook many excellent meals. Pool was great! Will certainly return!

We loved this apartment! Perfect for our family of four. Very easy walk to the heart of Amalfi activity. Check-in was smooth and easy. While we used the luggage transport service to bring our luggage to the apartment, it was easy for us to wheel it down to the main road when we departed.

The location is perfect for walking around town during your stay. Check in was easy and we had two gentlemen carry our bags up the stairs. Air conditioning in every room and it’s very spacious for 6 adults. It’s in a quiet area just past the down town area and the pool was a great feature. Would definitely stay here again!

Only 6 min walk from the main port traffic circle where all transports go/come from. The accommodation itself is really nice with everything you need and a welcome basket with house wine. Vincenzo is very helpful with everything and check in was really smooth, the Google maps location is about 100 meters away from the actual spot, but the little paper shop is right at the bottom of the entrance to the unit. There is a gorgeous little fruit tree grove with sun beds and a pool that you get to use. Couldn’t have asked for anything better!

The place was fantastic, it meant every expectation. The pool was a nice break from the beach so that was a lovely add-on. The location is the absolute best, You’re able to walk everywhere. When you book the house they don’t show you pictures of the outside but the walk up to the house is the most fabulous views. Our holiday met every expectation!!!! Grazie Grazie!!!💖

Loved the apartment, the location and the hospitality. Great size for 3 couples. Had some issues with the hot water several times which, while a bit annoying, was easily fixed. TV instructions in English would have helped. We were never able to get it working. However we just loved the apartment and the location. Excellent accommodations, comfortable beds and great city. We loved Amalfi! Thanks for a memorable vacation!

I loved this apartment! I loved where this apartment was located. It was clean and spacious! The kids loved the pool! The shops were down the road as you are walking towards the beach. Many restaurants and stores. The ferry was conveniently located 10 minute walk from the apartment. We love Amalfi!!! We will go back.
