Not only are we on a canal with easy access to the intracoastal waterway, our home is just .3 miles from our private neighborhood walkover to Butler Beach, one of the most beautiful beaches in the area. You can walk, bike, drive and park in a nearby lot or drive and park directly on the beach and pick your spot (4wd recommended). Enjoy watching beautiful sunsets on either of the two decks or while relaxing in the hot tub, on one of the very few canals in the St Augustine area.

Although we do not charge a pool heating fee, we keep the pool heated to 85° in the cooler months and the spa at 102°. As with any property that has electric pool and spa heat, pool and spa temperatures can not be maintained or guaranteed if temperatures drop below 50°.

We require a $1500 refundable damage deposit, a signed rental agreement, and State Issued Drivers License of the primary renter (county requirement). Additionally, you will be required to provide us with the complete names of all adults on the reservation, ages of children under 18, ensuring a total of no more than 8 people, including children. Ginny and Grant provide a beautiful home for a great get-away. Their home is beautiful and clean. We were pleasantly surprised to find many items were provided (tissues, facial cosmetic wipes, shampoo and conditioner and body wash, paper towels) that we have not found in other VRBO homes. The pool area has a variety of sitting areas where we were able to enjoy the sunshine and also escape from the sun when needed. The pool was clean and refreshing. We went to the beach and found the access easy. We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home, inside and out! We hope to be back!

The Host was spectacular and was very informative of anything and everything we would need to know about the house & property and even had great recommendations for eateries and places to visit for sightseeing. This property was perfect for the wide age range of my family from my 89 year old father to my youngest child of 6 years old! We loved the first floor master for my parents with an accessible bathroom and my Dad was even able to go for a dip in the pool which he hasn’t done for ages. Also greatly appreciated were all the extra amenities for activities such as kayaks, paddle boards, bait buckets, pool floats, basketball hoop and balls. The outside covered porch was excellent for my mom who can’t do the sun. Other nice touches were the makeup remover wipes and Q tips and things of that nature that were added. The neighborhood was great as was communication with the owner. We would definitely recommend this property to others! Thanks again for a wonderful family vacation!

Was perfect in every way. We were there 3 weeks and the whole family wanted to stay longer. Manatees and sea turtles coming to the dock was a definite highlight of our stay. Can’t say enough about the owner and how welcoming they were. We could have asked for the moon and they would try to help us get it. Will recommend Reel Treasure wholeheartedly.

I can’t say enough positive things about our stay at “Reel Treasure” at Butler Beach/St Augustine. The house was perfect for our group of 8 adults. Exceptionally clean and very well stocked with everything you need and more. You will especially enjoy the kitchen. The thought and attention to detail in furnishings and decor both inside and out was exceptional. The pool and hot tub area was a delight where many of our hours were spent. Communication with the owners was easy, and their response when we reached out was immediate. This was by far the nicest vacation rental I've ever stayed in. The home was beautifully decorated and has EVERYTHING you could possibly need or want in a vacation home. You can really tell the owner has put a tremendous amount of time and effort into making this place top notch! The location is great and views of the sunset in the evening from the pool/dock were amazing. I highly recommend staying at this property!

Reel Treasure is a beautiful home filled with everything and anything extra you might want to have a fun vacation! Great communication with Ginny, sparkling clean home and easy check in and check out process. All the beds are super comfy and the decor throughout the house is very warm & inviting. There are many books and games available to use. Beautiful outdoor settings both upstairs and around the heated pool & spa which we really enjoyed. Although we didn’t have time to use all the extra recreation equipment, it was really nice to have it available. We are a group of 4 siblings/spouses (grandparents), who traveled from the East & West coasts to gather here to spend time together and it was perfect, we certainly hope to get the opportunity to do it again!

The magic of this home is in its outdoor space and proximity to Butler Beach. This home is stocked with everything you need both inside and out. You have access to kayaks, bikes, fishing, and beach equipment. The beds and linens were very comfortable. We loved having three bathrooms which allowed everyone the space to get ready. Ginny goes above and beyond with communication and recommendations. She's easily reached if you need anything. Start your day at Ginny's favorite bait shop (also has beautiful sunset views), grab tacos at A1A Burrito Works, and do not miss daily walks to the beach via the private community access.

We had an absolutely wonderful time at Reel Treasure!! This was a family get away after the holidays. Working in health care and retail during the holidays, Reel Treasure was the perfect medicine to rejuvenate! This house is beautiful and well stocked. Ginny is literally THE BEST. Her attention to detail was impressive and very much appreciated! I have been using VRBO for many many years for our family vacations. Ginny and this home was the best. Exploring St. Augustine was wonderful! We needed more time to soak in all the history. My daughter caught fish off the floating dock everyday. She liked fishing at the pier, but also enjoyed fishing at the house while the guys watched football and the baby slept:) Unfortunately, The weather was chilly, but the heated pool and hot tub were terrific! The bedrooms and bathrooms were beautiful. The beds are all comfortable. The game room is a work in progress. Love that idea! We played ping pong everyday. Restaurant choices were good. Oasis was this family’s favorite for the Po Boy sandwiches. Highly recommend staying at Reel Treasure! Nice neighborhood to walk and ride bikes. If we have the opportunity to come back to St. Augustine, we will definitely stay here again. Thank you Ginny!

Had another wonderful stay at Reel Treasure. This stay included a fully renovated pool and spa! The great photos of the property online cannot do justice to actually being there. It is located at the top end of a canal, with access to the Intercoastal Waterway via the canoes provided, and fishing right off the attached dock and supplied fishing gear.
Reel Treasure feels like a resort with all the amenities of home. It is immaculately clean, comfortable, and welcoming. Close enough to many attractions and eating places, yet far enough for quiet and privacy.
Ginny the host is the best. Always friendly and available by text or cell to answer questions, concerns, or provide suggestions on things to do or places to eat.
We always look forward to staying at Reel Treasure and Will definitely return again.

Spectacular home with everything a family and/or friends would need to have a memorable vacation. It has a pool, a hot tub, and it's on a canal that leads to the intercostal, with a dock if you have a boat. It's a short walk to the beach with a walkway dedicated to the neighborhood. Has everything you need-towels, beach chairs, beach wagon, boogie boards and SO MANY fun games. We loved our stay!

We stayed at Reel Treasure to celebrate a milestone birthday, and we absolutely loved the experience. There is so much to offer: pool, jacuzzi, areas for shade, areas for sun, TVs everywhere, a great grill, a ping pong table, loads of board games, super close to the beach and very convenient to downtown St. Augustine. There was something for all of us. Ginny was a wonderful host, keeping in communication and being very responsive (even going so far as to ensure the kitchen had a couple of cake pans (and the wonderful parchment inserts too!!) so that I could bake a birthday cake while we were there!). We couldn't have picked a better spot!

Reel Treasure is hands down the best beach rental that our family has rented in a long time. It is exactly as described and just a beautiful home away from home. The beds and pillows were comfortable, the furniture and decor items were lovely, the bathrooms were nicely updated and functional. Everything was so clean and it was stocked with just about everything you could need for a week at the beach. My teenagers loved fishing from the dock, playing ping pong in the garage and swimming in the pool. The pool is a nice size which is not always the case in many rentals. We probably spent more time at the pool than the beach because it was so relaxing. The beach is a good five minute walk out of the neighborhood and across the main road but we had no issues with walking back and forth. There is parking on the beach if desired and the beach was not very crowded
which made it so relaxing. Having access to beach chairs, a wagon, beach towels, etc made the beach trips extra nice. Ginny was so helpful with any questions that we had and gave us some great suggestions for things to do around Saint Augustine. She is a great host and really did think of EVERYTHING when planning this home as a rental. I would recommend Reel Treasure to anyone who is looking for a perfect home away from home at the beach. Our entire family loved our trip to Saint Augustine/Butler Beach and will definitely rent this home again the next time we visit the area. Thanks for a great stay, Ginny!

Our family of 7 loved this vacation home! It had the most well stocked kitchen we have ever seen! The amenities there were way above average! Kayaks/paddle boards/fishing equipment/pool and beach toys/bikes/ping pong table/games/books! We enjoyed them all! Very clean and beautifully landscaped. The pool/spa was amazing! We spent a lot of time in that area. For kayaking and paddle boarding you just go off the dock! So easy! Ginny was fantastic to work with! We would definitely stay there again!

We had a wonderful time staying at Reel Treasure. The house has absolutely everything you could need. Being able to walk out the back door to your own little private oasis was amazing. We sat out on the patio every morning enjoying our coffee and the wildlife. The ocean was easily accessible, and we visited multiple times by walking and by car. I would highly recommend this vacation home - you will not be disappointed.

We are longtime patronizers of Vrbo and once again we found a gem close to our target city… this time, St. Augustine, Florida.
Reel Treasure was everything we expected. The house is perfect! The kitchen is well equipped, beds are comfortable and having the pool and spa just out the back door iced the cake. From Reel Treasure, you are about 15-minutes from downtown St. Augustine and all it has to offer. If you like nature, the ocean is literally across the highway and an easy walk away. In addition, there are multiple state and local parks and beaches within a short drive. Grocery store options are close and there are several excellent restaurant options near as well. We loved Viola’s and it was literally a 5-minute walk from our doorstep.
Finally, Ginny was available when we had questions and provided us with terrific guidance, making this a memorable March getaway.
