Place is amazing - you have real remote island!!!
And I mean this is what you should expect - a bungalow in remote island with limited comfort, but worth it!

The resort is right on a beautiful beach with views out over the ocean and nearby islands and was probably the most relaxing place I have ever stayed. David and Joannie ( I hope I spelled that correctly) were excellent hosts, serving up great food, ( I particularly enjoyed the fresh fish), and cold beer. Other highlights were the boat transfers and island hopping excursion.
Only a minor issue, but card payment was unavailable.

Hosts are very friendly and helpful, Dave & Joannie answered all questions we had before we arrived as well as on the island, they organized our transfer from the airport and back again, we didnât have to worry about anything. Food was good and our kids had a blast, playing with the island kids. They didnât want to leave anymore and still ask when we will go back there. The island is a paradise, clear warm water, white sand beach, most beautiful sunrises and sunsets. If you need to detox and get away from city life - this is your place to find peace and nature.
It was a bit hot at night without aircon (fans are available though), thatâs why we slept outside on the terrace, which was even better though. Nice wind and the sound of the waves to fall asleep.

Well from the the start when we were picked up we knew this was going to fun from start to finish , it rates as one of the most chilled out places I have been, the food was excellent as it was our 37 year anniversary and out of the blue we had a cake special made for us by my mate and when he reads this I know what he going to say lol , the family treated us as they knew us for years , the kids were amazing so polite, the water was the clearest you could get went snorkeling well I tried lol but I enjoyed it , this place is for the open minded person so take head donât expect a 5 stars place just enjoy the peace and the smiles from everyone on the island.I was just informed by my wife to say ask for the special on the menu lol ( wasnât me who said this Dave lol ) also if any Ozzie go can you take some vegemite for Dave he will appreciate it cheers from Shane and Glenda till next year chow
That we only stayed 7 nights lol

This was the first time in a long time of travelling that it was hard to say goodbye! David and Joanne have made this piece of paradise accessible to everyone and we are so glad we took the opportunity to stay. 1 night turned into 3 which could have easily turned into 300. The most relaxed we have been in a long time. Great food, beautiful water, and a very sweet community. We will be back for more laughs with our new friends. Thanks for everything.

Grateful that there are still places like this so pure, native, simple and amazing.
Stay at least two nights if you can and donât forget to look at the starts at night. the brightness of them will amaze you.

Honestly when I booked I tought âit looks to good to be trueâ. After spending there five days I just wished I could have stay more time.
If you really want to experience what is true island living, this is the place. Rooms are comfy, clean and just with an amazing view to the beach. For families or solo travellers this place is just perfect. Village is just a couple steps away and people there are so friendly you will feel what is almost like a native island. Super quiet and super safe.
They donât like to brag it but they are doing a terrific job to support the village when needs come.
The beach is super clean, water super clear and be prepared for an amazing food cooked my the outstanding family of David and Joannie. I was travelling alone and they made me feel always super safe, super friendly, funny and always concerned if I was ok. And their kids are just amazing polite, kind and smart.
Tips:
1. Dont miss the boat trip on davids boat
2. Dont miss the short hiking guided by the kids to see the sunset
3. Dont miss to try, every meal, a different dish, they are all amazing, and options for vegetarians too.
4. Dont miss Davids music playlist is just great
5. Dont miss to engage with these amazing family to really get into the island mood
6. Dont miss to disconnect, enjoy and relax and this small and beatiful paradise
7. Dont miss talking to Joannie if you want to understand more about philiphino culture
I will (already) miss it but for sure see you next year!!.
i didnt like that I had to leaveâŚ

Location and environment was superb. David and his family are super friendly and helpful, they really try to do their best for you and accomodate as best as they can. You're almost alone on the island without other tourists. There is a small village next to the accomodation which is filled with friendly locals.
Best pancake breakfast of Siargao!
Place was a bit run down due to the typhoon. It is clear they are still rebuilding. Rooms were a bit hot at night. Facilities are quite basic, but has everything you need.

Nice spot at the end of the village. Very quiet and clean. The rooms are very spacious and can accomodate up to 4 people. The property owners managed to provide us transportation at the cheapest cost available and it was really nice of them helping us with the boat. Also food was at a very reasonable price and we really appreciate they didn't charge us too much for eating and drinking at the place. It was nice to spend time with their family, kids and the other guests. In the place there are a lot of cute dogs and pigs.
The only thing that could be improved a little bit is the food, but maybe we weren't lucky. For the rest all good.

This is the type of place that we would like to keep as a secret to be sure nothing will change too much! The beauty of the island, the warm welcome of the village people, the wonderful family you are staying with, the surf all alone on your wave makes it the real paradise! Here you are likely to extend your stay.. The simple beauty of remote island life and the delicious meals served by Dave and Joanne will make you feel at home far away. If activities are what youâre after, David will happily send you out snorkeling, deep sea fishing or on a boat trip around the neighboring Islands. Thank you Anajawan for having us and sharing all your beauty! We are taking all your smiles with us and hopefully will be back one day! Sandra, Konstantin, Louisa & Alix

Fantastic location with great hosts. We enjoyed the peace and the calmness on Anajawan island. Beach right in front of you - can fall asleep to the sound of the waves. Food is available upon request. It is freshly made. David can arrange for boats/trips/surfboards or any other things.
Nights can be very warm but fans are available. Electricity only for a couple hours a day but that did not bother us (just means that the fans donât go all night).

We had an amazing stay at David's place. With David being an Australian and his wife from the Philippines we got western and Filipino hospitality and felt completely at home. The accommodations were clean. The views are amazing. Less crowds cleaner beaches and amazing tours provide by David and his staff. Highly recommeded for families and couples. Thank you David for going the extra mile for us.

Such a great place with such accommodating hosts. This place is best recommended for those who just want to chill and relax by the beach away from the crowd. They also offer an affordable island hopping service. Plus, their pizza is just *chefâs kiss*. Overall, it was a great stay. Would surely book again soon.

We loved everything. David and Joannie are such gracious hosts. They treated us like family. They catered to our requests as best as they could as my husband is on a GF and Dairy free diet. It was just impossible to make GF and vegan cheese pizza. đBut my husband loved the mango curry. It was the best stay in Siargao. Would definitely come back someday.
The only setback was the lack of AC at night. It could be pretty warm during the summer. But the situation is pretty understandable as they were still trying to recover from the aftermath of the typhoon plus they are dependent with generator for electricity.
