Location was great

Chalet was a little unclean, especially the sofa with suspect stains and the kettle was gross. We had to boil our water on the stove which was also a little dirty as the kettle was yellow inside with dirt. Nice location but I wouldn't stay here again.

Park could have had a mower that picked up grass cuttings as they kept trailing into chalet.

A lovely place to stay

We had a great stay. The chalet is very comfortable, and the living room surprisingly spacious, and tastefully decorated. Everything in the kitchen worked well, and there was plenty of storage space. Including in the bathroom, which although small had drawers and cabinets to keep stuff in. This is great, because so many places have lovely looking bathrooms but with nowhere to put all your stuff, so you end up never unpacking your toilet bag - as someone who travels with a lot of toiletries and hair products this made me really happy! The bedrooms were small but had room for the necessities, including hanging space as well as drawers in both rooms. It was carpeted throughout, apart from the kitchen and bathroom, which was great for our dog, who hates hard floors. This, along with the gated deck area, were among the reasons we picked that particular chalet. Everything was clean and well organised when we arrived, and the owner Steve was there to show us around and explain how everything worked. He was friendly and approachable, and lives close by so we knew he was available if we had any problems (which we didn't). The furniture was all comfortable, the TV was good quality, and the included WiFi worked great. The table and chairs outside were also comfortable, and we had enough sun to need the parasol, so that was lovely to have. The park area is also lovely. We were there out of season, so it was nice and quiet for us, but would be ideal for children over the summer - the chalet faced the outdoor play area, and was very close to the clubhouse, so perfectly situated if that's what you want. The local village is small but had everything you need - several shops, pubs and arcades, and the beach literally 5 minutes walk from the chalet - again, ideal for both dogs and children! The nearby town of Caister has a big Lidl and a Tesco, and is only about 10 minutes by car.

The Freeview TV worked great for most of our stay, but we had a bit of bad weather on our last day and the TV reception got intermittently poor that day. Other than that, everything was pretty much perfect.

Love Hemsby.

fabulous host, always readily available. Loved the site and clubhouse was great. Chalet in a great location.

Shower was too small for my large partner 6’2”. Beds were uncomfy but kitchen area was smart and fresh.

Great location, great price, great host!

Fantastic location near the club house with easy free parking and less than 5 mins walk from the town centre. Well appointed chalet with nice clean private decking area with chairs and table. Steve, the host was great too! Will be returning!

Charming Chalet

The chalet was very clean and we were given a friendly welcome from the owner. Nicely fitted kitchen and good quality bed linen and towels. Chalet was pleasantly furnished. The little deck outside worked well for our dog. We were close to the playground and club house which was great and also not far from the village facilities which had all the entertainments you would want. Mini fairground with dodgems and mini golf. Only 15 min walk to an easy access beach. Nice pub on the way too.

Nothing. There was an issue that Booking.com should have raised a charge for our dog for extra cleaning but this was resolved quickly and amicably with the owner.

Pleasant stay in wow factor accommodation

Clean very comfortable chalet the best I’ve stayed in, L shaped sofa which breaks down into a bed if needed. Attention to detail free tea, coffee, milk, even condiments, free WIFI, Owner was always available when needed, 10/10 what more do u need!

Chalet was in a perfect location, host was very friendly and welcoming when we arrived and showed us around the property. We loved that there were little extra touches such as a welcome letter and lots of information on attractions and things to do in the area. We were extremely happy and comfortable throughout our stay.

Home from home

Really comfortable stay at this chalet. Clean and comfortable with everything you need provided such as linen, towels and condiments etc. Chalet is in an excellent location close to club house and children’s play ground. Lovely sitting outside first thing in the morning on the sun. Owner was very friendly and obliging. Lovely stay.

Nothing all was good. But owner advised some refurbishment including adding decking will be done next year and so likely to be even better

Fantastic Few Nights Away

On arrival every thing was clean and set out. Everything we could need and more. Small little touches like complimentary tea, coffee, sugar and condiments, clean good quality towels, bed linen already on the beds and a personalised welcome letter really made our home from home experience complete. Owner was very welcoming and nothing was to much trouble. Highly recommended and will definitely be booking to come back!
