About this house rental
Spacious 2 bedroom duplex is located between 519 West Montgomery St. and HWY 374. The entry is identified with a “Unit B” sign on the HWY 374 side. The lockbox with entry key is at the door. Located on Hwy 374 in Beatty you are only a short distance (7mi) to the California State Line and the entry to Death Valley National Park through Daylight Pass, (4mi) from Rhyolite Ghost Town and (5mi) Titus Canyon Entrance. Great location from which to explore Death Valley, the Big Dunes, Ash Meadows National Wildlife and numerous other exciting desert locations. You will be comfortable in this 900 foot 2 bedroom, full kitchen, laundry area. Wi-Fi and 65” smart TV along with Roku, Netflix and Disney channels provided for your enjoyment. The kitchen is fully furnished with pots/pans, dishes, eating utensils, etc. During COVID-19 we’re stocking coffee, teas along with creamers, sweeteners/sugar and Mountain Spring Water

It was like staying in someone’s home - in a good way. Clean and well equipped.

I can't imagine a better place to stay in Beatty than Nathaniel's unit. The condo is well equipped, clean and comfortable. We stayed seven nights and traveled to Death Valley NP everyday. We cooked breakfast and dinner in the well-stocked kitchen and packed a cooler for our lunch and drinks. I would definitely stay here again.

Great little property, cleanliness was top notch, with vacation rentals there is always a small amount of anxiety for me, that element of the unknown. There is absolutely no reason to be anxious about this property. It's in a quiet part of town, great accessibility to Death Valley and Rhyolite. Exceeded expectations, would absolutely stay at this property again if in the area.

Unit B was a perfect place to stay as we explored Death Valley each day. It was quiet, clean, and comfortable. Kitchen had everything we needed. Having a washer and dryer right there was convenient for us. Nathaniel responded quickly to any questions we had.

Great stay close to Death Valley National Park. Very clean, comfortable and we had everything we needed and then some to make our stay great. Loved that we were left coffee and that the kitchen had all the cookware we needed as there’s not much around that area for eating options.

Beatty is a quiet little town. It was hot in Death Valley but Beatty is higher elevation and cooler than DV. Nathaniels place had everything you need. It was a nice stay.

This home was well-equipped with lots of little extras! We enjoyed the western decor. The owners and property manager were very responsive to any issue that came up or questions we had. Special place to stay, beautiful & warm feeling in the home. Well stocked kitchen, comfortable bed, great TV, really could not be more perfect, and a bidet! Next door is Chuck, such a great and informative caretaker.The hosts are wonderful and it really is the gateway to amazing Death Valley. Oh and there are burros roaming around!

Exceptionally clean unit with an extraordinarily well stocked kitchen- which was key because the only nearby grocery store is a Family Dollar.

Property was clean and fit the online description. We found everything we needed such as bottled water, dishwasher soap and bandaids. I ended up needing a sewing kit and sure enough, there was a sewing kit available! I also want to give props for being the only VRBO I’ve stayed in that had a full length mirror.
Be aware that there is no grocery store nearby so stop around Vegas, or whatever larger city you’re coming from, and pick up your food to cook. The kitchen has everything else you need. There are also a couple of cute restaurants in town as well as a Family Dollar where you can pick up snacks and other general non food necessities. There’s a gas station nearby. Everyone in town is friendly, including a helpful neighbor.
The purpose of our visit was to go to Death Valley. It was our first visit so we also stayed a couple of days at a hotel within the national park. I absolutely recommend staying here rather than inside the park. The drive is about 30 minutes. It’s a beautiful and easy drive down a nicely paved highway. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely return.

This property was great for exploring Death Valley. It was really comfy, clean and well equipped. We couldn’t fault the property. We were already aware that we needed to take supplies with us as there isn’t a supermarket close by but the kitchen has everything you could need to knock up some meals. The drive to the property either through Death Valley or from the east is amazing. Thoroughly recommend.

This property was very well equipped - nice beds and pillows, coffee/tea and condiments were stocked in the kitchen, several board games and a mini-foosball table were there to use, and very clean.

I stayed at the property with my brother traveling from Vegas to Walnut Creek, CA after a convention. The property was easy to find, in excellent shape and had all the amenities of home with a wonderful next-door neighbor, Chuck to banter with about the area and things to do and see, where to eat and find stuff. It has a full kitchen, washer & dryer (which we used and worked great), and two separate bedrooms with comfy beds. One of the key things one does not think of but happened on this trip - we really appreciated the fact the facilities were outside the Death Valley Ntl. Park b/c the park had severe flash floods - it closed and everyone inside was trapped. We stayed in Beatty at Suite B and we were fine. We could not get into the park, but the park did not trap us inside. Something to consider and a real bonus. The park entrance is just down the road, so very convenient and close when you do and can go in. I plan another trip outside of monsoon season and would stay at this facility again. The owner was easy to get a hold of and ask questions - very nice and friendly. No complaints, only praises - It feels like home.

Even it is next to highway, it was very quite inside. Super clean. Owner and manger were super nice. It had everything w.r.t suite. It was home away from home. Very close to all the attractions of Death Valley.

Comfortable and close to Death Valley
Enjoyed our stay in this well stocked and comfortable rental. A friendly neighbor made sure we were well taken care of. The only two small drawbacks were the location right on the major road (not a problem with night traffic) and no grocery in town. We would stay here again.
