WOW!!! The stay in Manoir Chandoiseau was absolutely amazing !!! The Chateau is magnificently renovated, it has a unique combination of all the modern luxury with an antique look and experience !! We loved E V E R Y T H I N G from the king's decorated wonderful room and bed, the 5 stars service and attention to details, the amaizing gardens and patio on the private river near the waterfall, the horses, the farm animals and the all experience which was superb !!! The best of all were the owners which gave us the experience of a life time and a grand tour of the property !! Their wonderful hospitality made our vacation a once in a life time experience !! Thank you !!!
A perfect stay !!! :)

It is so authentic and the owners were exceptional.
Beautiful country setting. Incredible castle. Superb French country breakfast.

Absolutely everything. It’s a fairytale location, stunning estate, rich history, spotlessly clean, delicious breakfast, and the best hosts you will find in any country. The bed was really comfortable and we slept so soundly. It’s one of the prettiest places I’ve ever seen, inside and out, and exceeded every expectation. It’s a very peaceful place too, and visiting the animals outside was a huge bonus. So grateful that we stayed here and only regretted not being able to stay longer. Thank you so much Isabelle and Antoine!

Isabella and Antoine were fantastic hosts. They welcomed us very warmly, showed tremendous hospitality and were extremely accommodating. Isabella even reached out to us before checking in to ask if we needed a dinner reservation which she made at a very nice restaurant for us. They shared the rich history of the home and the journey they went on to renovate it from ruins to a stunning property over 15 years. The grounds were very nice to walk around and enjoy. Finally, the breakfast was absolutely wonderful and Antoins suggestion to tour the nearby Abbey was spot on.

Absolutely stunning renovated castle, finely appointed rooms with authentic furniture, luxurious bathroom and very friendly, helpful hosts who showed us around the castle and stables and lavished us with a huge freshly prepared breakfast each morning. Will definitely be returning next time I'm in France to see how the last stages of the remodelling pan out and to get another taste of renaissance luxury.
Bed was a little firm for my tastes but seems to be standard for almost everywhere I've stayed in Europe so maybe I'm a bit of a princess.

We had a surprise beyond our imagination. Fantastic local breakfast. Charming hospitality. The rooms are so authentic that we had an experience of a lifetime that we will never forget. I would like to take this opportunity to thank our hosts for making this experience possible and for sharing their castle with us, in which they put so much effort!
I honestly can't think of anything we didn't like.

simply wonderful place to stay. I cannot find words to describe the care that has been taken by the owners to renovate this property to its current amazing condition. we were made very welcome, and could not have asked for more. we were recommended a restaurant nearby, which was booked for us in advance and was a delight. breakfast was perfect! we will definitely return.
nothing!

The Château is a few kms (about 10 to 20) I think from the nearest large towns but close enough to be able to easily visit them for evening meals which the Chateau's hosts arranged for us based on our food preferences, my wife is a vegetarian. The restaurants they found were lovely. The room we had was massive (the rooms, maybe 2 or soon 3,all are) and very private. The room was also full of character. If for no other reason, I would recommend staying at least one night there for the experience. We were travelling south and had only booked one night but as soon as we saw the room we booked another night. The hosts, Isobel and Antoine, were great and did all they could to make our stay a memorable one. They explained the history of the Chateau, including a short vidio, and gave us a guided tour which we really enjoyed. The breakfast was lovely although Isobel wanted to give me more food than I could eat! We enjoyed our stay so much that we may visit the Chateau again on our way back from the South to Calais.
It is a bit remote but, after usually staying in towns/cities, it was a verywelcome break.

We had an exceptional stay in beautiful surroundings. The rooms were so large and baronial that we felt like old-time nobility. More than that, the hosts, Isabelle and Antoine, were just wonderful. They have renovated the property to an incredibly high standard, while maintaining all the charm, character, and craftsmanship of the property. More than that, they made us feel like family guests (there are only two rooms, and we had booked both of them) — serving us lavish breakfasts and booking us dinner both nights at places we would not have found ourselves.
Nothing.

My wife and I had a wonderful stay. Isabelle and Antoine were extremely helpful with recommendations and dinner reservations. All the main chateaus are within an hour drive. There are also quite a few nice vineyards within a short drive. The Manoir is beautifully restored and the property was peacefully quiet. We loved our stay!

The owners are super nice, very kind people. We'll never forget their generosity. They put a lot of effort and time in the tasteful restoration of the manoir. Ideal combination of historic and modern equipment. Probably the biggest room you'll ever get. The landscape is beautiful and peaceful. Everything was exceptional, luxurious, and the breakfast absolutely fantastic!

Our experience at Manoir de Chandoiseau was truly amazing! The property is absolutely beautiful and the owners are the kindest of people. We were greated by the entire family and guardians of the property, given a wonderful tour of the property and even watched a video of the restoration efforts as we shared a time with the owners. Isabelle and Antoine have gone above and beyond with their kindness and effort for making this an amazing experience!
There is NOTHING to say badly about this experience. We HIGHLY recommend staying at Manoir de Chandoiseau.

A rare treasure. A wonderful place, beautiful, peaceful, restored to its former glory with so much love. We were met and looked after by our hosts Isabelle and Antoine with incredible graciousness and generosity. This is how one travels in one's dreams. Chandoiseau - or Chant d'Oiseaux - the song of birds, will be remembered for a long time.

What a wonderful place to stay. This is an incredible and beautifully restored chateau set in a stunning location with some lovely grounds. The rooms are spectacular, with beautiful furniture in them, stunning features such as huge fireplaces and are a high spec. Impeccable bathrooms. The breakfast is exceptional and has fresh eggs from the chickens on site. The hosts were very kind and helpful and booked us dinner in the evening, before we had even arrived to make sure we had a lovely place to eat. We were lucky enough to get a tour of the property to see some of the restoration and history too..Thank you for a lovely stay and see you again soon.

The Manoir de Chandoiseau has been lovingly restored and exquisitely decorated by Isabelle and Antoine, the most gracious hosts we have ever encountered.
No detail has been overlooked in the restoration. The room was simply extraordinary, the breakfast copious, with fresh homemade tarts, farm fresh eggs and a host of other treats. We have rarely experienced hospitality on this level throughout our travels around the world, and we cannot wait to return.

The Manoir de Chandoiseau was the best hotel we have every stayed in the Val de Loire! The incredible friendly hosts welcomed us warmly and made us feel that we don't stay in a hotel but with friends. The Manor itself is just amazing and unbelievable great reconstructed with so many details, original furniture and style. The breakfast was served in the salon and was just perfect with everything what your heart desires.
We will definitely come back on a our next trip to France.
There is nothing to improve. It cannot be better.

The location is beautiful. The Manoir is amazing. The breakfasts were excellent and the hosts Isabelle and Antoine were superb and absolutely charming. An excellent place central to many of the chateaus and points of interest in the area.

Super stay in the region of the french castles. We are co-owner of the Castle de la Mothe-Chandenier. This nice little castle is a perfect stay for visiting the restauration of the big one 500m further away..
Nothing. I hated that we only stayed for one night. According to the owners we were the first guests of their new B&B. So we had the privilege of cutting the entrance with scisors (as a matter of speaking)
