Great place to stay on a budget

The hotel was spotless from all that we saw. The room was fresh and clean. Very spacious. Staff were absolutely lovely. Breakfast was yummy.

The only thing was the shower was a bit of a pain as the water went everywhere. But wasn't too bad

Lovely hotel.

The location was not far from city centre. The place was very clean. The beds were comfortable and you wouldn't even know it was next to the train station. No noise at all. Definitely return again. Next time where visiting our family again.

Basic but had all we needed

Hotel was near local bars and shops. Great value for money, basic and really clean.

The hotel only done breakfast which was nice. If you wanted any other food, you had to use the vending machine. Food places were just across the road so we just went there. The bar was vey limited and pricey so we just went to the local pub. Overall a pleasant stay. Visit the Oak and Ivy pub 3mins walk. we had a great night 🕺

Lovely, well placed venue with friendly staff

The friendliness of the staff, the size of the room, good and comfortable bed. Ease of access to additional items like an iron and ironing board.

The light around the table mirror in our room didn't work, and the lift took quite a long time to go up and down floors.

Good

Room was large, plenty of space. Stayed in other ibis budgets and have not been as nice. Just needed it as a place to sleep as was up and checked before breakfast.

Weekend breakfast times are later them most hotels for a weekend. breakfast was served at 9am

Superb

Great central location near station, town hall and pubs. Great room with comfy bed and good shower room. Great breakfast including fresh milk for hot drinks.

Room was quite spacious and we were given an iron and board when we asked for one. Check in and out was very simple. Bed was conformable.

The room looked like it was a disabled room as the bathroom had a strange shower and handles around the toilet. Although it wasn't a problem, it just didn't look as nice.

cheap for a reason, avoid!

plenty of parking

area was quite rundown and right next to train station. facilities in room were very poor. no hot water, shower was freezing cold. was a sign at reception saying water was going to be off from 11am following day due to repairs, specifically asked if it would effect us the night before with hot/clean water to be promised nope, all fine. well it wasn’t. complained in morning when couldn’t have shower to be told, oh yes it’s been off for a while. so the staff blatantly lied to us the night before. to be fair they gave a reduction but we wouldn’t have stayed if he’d have been upfront. be warned, free parking only lasts until 8am so you need to buy a ticket unless you are leaving before this. it’s cheap, for a reason. police were being called to an incident as we arrived, so it sounds like the sort of place to avoid if you can!

Budget by name but great value for the location (easy walking to some of Burtons best pubs & eateries) which is just what we were looking for and with car parking available at a very reasonable rate, couldn't be better

the bathroom could have been better appointed. the shower was barely adequate and should have had a bath mat as it was very slippery and the floor then became wet & slippery too.

Superb

Everything smelt new, which it was! The room was nice, shower was good, no problems at all. Would definately stay again. 3 minute walk to my brothers house!
