About this house rental

New construction home in Woodmont , our house is directly across the street from the sandy white Burwells beach. Just a few blocks walking distance are several restaurants with outdoor patios and awesome food.

As you enter into the coded lock front door you have your own private entrance and up three very short staircase to a spectacular apartment. The features of this apartment are the dark hardwood floors,high ceilings, private two rooms for guests that need separate sleeping areas, lots of light, your own terrace to sit out on while relaxing & observing the stars at night and all new modern furniture.

The living room has a Queen sofa which pulls out to a very comfortable mattress , Beautiful French glass doors, which have pull down blinds on them for privacy and separate the two rooms .
For all you readers, you’ll enjoy the over stuffed chaise lounge (pictured) in the bedroom, and next to a modern work space desk & chair.

There is also a small kitchenette set up with an electric cooking plate to make just about anything, a microwave, toaster oven, a electric BBQ on the terrace, full size refrigerator, pod coffee maker, cups, dishes, platters and everything else you’ll need should you plan on cooking at home.

During the Covid pandemic, rest assured that all blankets, towels a d sheets are sent out to be professionally cleaned after each guest. Should you decide to take you own linens please let us know in advance and I will refund you $25 laundry charge.

We have complimentary his and her bikes and a two seater kayak with life vests for two.

My wife and I recently stayed at this property in Milford, CT and it was wonderful. The home was cozy and the area quiet, letting us have a nice relaxing weekend away from the hustle and bustle of NYC. The space was clean and comfortable with multiple places for sitting and relaxing after a long day out in the sun! Would definitely recommend.

Mary's place was a pleasure to stay and she was a perfect host! Very comfortable for a couple or a Father/Daughter stay as we did. Please note that there is not a full kitchen, but Mary provides all the things necessary to be able to prepare meals and enjoy your stay!

Husband and I cannot say enough about this property from check in to check out time. Easy check in and Mary was one of the perfect hosts ever. She lives on the property but unless we needed something we didn’t see her mush at all. She gave us several recommendations for places to eat and aight see and we were happy with them all. House is beautiful decorated in simple beachy style in fact I took notes on her decorating. Kitchen was better than expected with everything you need to cook with. It was so nice to be step away from the entrance to the beach and we took advantage of the beautiful weather. Lastly, house was immaculate with all fresh white towels and bed linens. I think this property is a five star out of five

We had a wonderful time in Milford. The apartment was beautifully decorated, clean, conveniently located & Mary thought of every detail. Short walk to the private beach. No crowds. Very private.

Awesome beach house

We had a great time staying at Mary's beach house! We managed to walk along the beach every day on our trip. When we weren't on the beach, we were relaxing on the balcony and in the backyard. Mary was very communicative and accommodating - the bicycles and a kayak were a nice touch. Hopefully the next time we're in Milford, we'll be able to stay here again.

Quiet getaway.

Quiet getaway.

Mary was absolutely wonderful. Her property is absolutely wonderful. After many years of the usual beach destinations like OC NJ, OC MD, Outer Banks, our children have started their adult lives and we were looking for peace and quiet. No crowds. No traffic. No Boardwalk. No carnival atmosphere or rides. We just wanted a nice place to stay with a beach and nice restaurants. Well, that is what Mary provides. It is a short one block walk to the beach. Most days we had the beach completely to ourselves. We highly recommend Mary as a host and her property. We will very likely book with her again for our next beach adventure.

We had a lovely weekend staying in Milford at this apartment. Easy to access New Haven by car for Yale graduation events. Mary was welcoming and thoughtful, providing us with everything we needed. Her dogs are super cute and not at all noisy. The bedroom is a huge space, has an amazingly comfortable bed and is beautifully decorated. Although there is no kitchen there is a large fridge, coffee machine etc Probably easier to eat out than try to cook meals in but that wasn't a problem for us as we were out celebrating with our son most of the time! Thank you Mary for a great stay :)

Loved, loved, loved this apartment and the town. Mary was an awesome hostess. Attention to detail was second to none. Already planning dates to return next fall! Location was made it simple to see the town in car or on foot. Two great restaurants within 2 blocks of the place. The apartment was absolutely spotless and Mary welcomed our dog, Lily, as if she were her own! Thanks, Mary. See you again!

My wife and I stayed with Mary and Guy for a week in early October. Mary went above and beyond even before our arrival, knowing that we had a long travel day (12 hr drive) and wanting to ensure we had everything we would need once we made it into town. At arrival, Mary welcomed us warmly into their beautiful home including extra effort around our canine companions to ensure we were all comfortable. We had an excellent week and will plan to stay with Mary and Guy again in our future visits to Milford. Great location, great space, great hosts.

Mary the owner was very friendly and available if we needed anything. The property location is directly across the street from the beach. The apartment is very nicely updated. We enjoyed the table for 2 and our small dog enjoyed playing in the large open floor plan. A 5 minute drive brings you to a parking area with a couple of miles of sidewalk walking along the shoreline. Very conveniently located next to supermarket, restaurants and other businesses. Also close to Gulf Beach and Silver Sands State Park.
