Everything was really great
2.0
The view.
No toilet seat for the 1st day of our 3 day stay. No hot water for 1 day. Sorry not even a 1 star hotel.

It is right on the beach
The shower was not attached to the wall. I had to hold it while using it. So shampooing is hard. It is far away from the centre. The place looked deserted from the outside.

Location was perfect. Nice views from balcony and good
beach. Staff was all helpful and nice. Nice selection of drinks and snacks in the beach bar.
Bathroom was old, sinks water pressure was bad. Little renpvation would make this place perfect.

Staff and owners are nice, polite and helpful. Actually, they are very lovely people!
Rooms need a lot of refurbishment and maintenance.

The location was good on the beach. The balcony was large with cover and a large bougainvillea growing over it.
It was an old neglected and run down property in dire need of a renovation. The reception was never staffed only briefly when we checked in. The room was advertised as having television. We found a remote control but there was no television in the room! We went down to ask at reception but it was not staffed. The bathroom definitely needs updating. When we booked the room it was only for one night after reading a lot of negative reviews. However the room rate seemed too good to be true. Well it was, because by the time I pressed confirm the room rate I was charged had nearly doubled! I queried this at reception but received no credible answer. Basically a shrug of the shoulders, we don’t know why and no apology. We moved next morning to a far better and cheaper property nearby with a very considerate lady on reception. (Also booked through Booking.com.)

The first room we got was very large with four beds in total was nice and no more.
The bathroom in that room was bad.
But after I asked the lovely manager she took care of us for another room on the same floor with a crazy view at sunrise, a smaller but much warmer room and a more tidy bathroom.
The truth is that the hotel is quite old but the attitude and location make up for it
I recommend to anyone looking for a simple place with great attitude and perfect location. 2 minutes' drive from city center and port. Those looking to indulge in high standard rooms this is not the place.

Relaxing atmosphere at this beach front property. Spacious, clean and comfortable rooms. Friendly people. Great value!
No complaints.

Perfect sea view, hotel on the beach. Big and clean room, with air condition and fridge. On the beach there is a bar with excellent greek food and good service.

Gloria was super helpful and so was the bartender.

The hotel is just on the Pigadia beach (Afoti beach) in a quite and nice spot on a side of the bay (opposite to the port). Pigadia is very close, just few minutes by car or a 20 min walking. The balcony and the sea view are amazing. Friendly owners. The room is pretty big and clean. There is a parking outside the building. Good point to visit the south and the east of the island.
The bathroom should be renovated. The air conditioning is not included in the rent, anyway it is 5 euro per day (I suggest to include it and eventually rise the price of the room by that amount). The reception is always without anyone but the owners can be contacted at anytime by phone. The kitchen is unfurnished: no soap and sponge, no plates and cutlery, just two cups and two tea spoons (I suggest to provide the basic staff). Anyway this is just an advice and a nice-to-have.
