Communication with host could be improved. Kitchen lacks any serving/mixing bowls. Glass tabletop in living area is not affixed and slides easily if bumped-safety issue. Attractive setting. Difficult driveway. Inadequate inside dining space for 4 people- no table.

This was a great place to stay for 2 people and a dog. The cabin was well-appointed and comfortable. We loved the large deck and sat out there often watching hummingbirds, squirrels, and deer. As others have mentioned, there's no space in the "master" for your stuff so we treated the 2nd bedroom as our closet/gear room. Would recommend bringing your own DVDs as we couldn't stream reliably....however that turned out to be a nice treat as we worked crossword puzzles together each evening instead of zoning out. The only bummer was the grill seemed to be leaking gas so we didn't feel comfortable using it. I would definitely stay here again.

Overall the experience was terrific. We collected the pass code from Cabin Butler just before 5:00pm. The assistant there was just about to leave, so I don't know what would have happened if we had arrived after 5:00pm.
The cabin is at the top of a very steep hill with the last part a dirt road. We had no problem but we have a 4-wheel drive. We were impressed with the location–surrounded by large pine and aspen trees. There is a deck area with a table and chairs. There are also two rattan couches, but the cushions on one had been destroyed by animals that were probably after the stuffing for their nests. The cushions on the other couch were very dusty and we did not feel like sitting on them.
The cabin was well-equipped with new pots and pans and silverware. We were disappointed with the dishes though; there were only three coffee cups and they were the enamel camping variety. The dishes looked very old and marked and need replacing. For guests who wish to cook, they will find lack of a colander and plastic cooking utensils. Overall the kitchen is well designed.
The double bed was very comfortable with a firm mattress and we slept well. The second bedroom has a bunk bed with double on the bottom.
We enjoyed our stay and would have no hesitation in returning.

We stayed 3 nights here. It was absolutely amazing! The wildlife is abundant and within view out of every window. The recent remodel brings a nice modern touch to a rustic cabin. We will definitely be back!

The check-in process was a nightmare. We received no communication from the host. We did not know that we had to check-in at the office in Greer. When we finally found it, the office was closed but there was an envelope taped to the door. Plus, there are two cabins with the #2 Wiltbank address!! The first one, the one with the most visible address, is the wrong one.
Once we found the cabin, we liked it a lot. We loved the porch. The porch furniture is not new but was quite comfortable. We saw deer every day and wild turkeys a couple of times. Being up the hill, the view was much better than if we were down at street level. It is very quiet and peaceful. The kitchen and appliances were excellent. The bedrooms are very small and there is not much place to put things other than on the floor. That is not a problem for two people but could be for a larger group. We very much enjoyed our stay.

Such a great place to relax
This cabin is in a secluded area at the top of a very steep hill and drive way. My dogs loved that I could let them lay out on the deck in the sun. I hike so I felt I was in really good shape, but walking back up the street from 3/4's of the way to Main Street kicked my butt. I didn't think my lab and I were going to make it. I recommend driving. There is a trail head really close with the Little Colorado running through it. The dogs loved this. My only concerns were the master bedroom could use a window cover, just for comfort, no one will be able to climb out there. Also, ask for a key to lock the cabin when you leave. It seemed very safe when I was there off season, but I could not lock up when I left to eat or hike.

Beautiful mountain hideout
We spent an amazing weekend in this cabin. The size was perfect for a couple. The kitchen is well equipped and brand-new, the bathroom is great, and the view from the porch is stunning. As others mentioned in earlier reviews, the only downside was the heater noise from the bedrooms. We found that if the temperature is kept low in the bedroom but high in the main room then the sound is less loud as it activates less often. Other than that, the place was mostly cleaned except it needed to be vaccumed. Great fireplace and nearby hiking by the river!

Cabin in the woods!
This is cabin goals! From interior to exterior, this cabin is adorable! All the necessities to feel at home away from home. Nestled up in the woods, would be easiest to get up there with 4 wheel drive but it’s only a short distance up the hill. Close enough to walk to town but secluded location so you have a lot of privacy. The patio deck is so nice and big with cozy chaise loungers to take a nap. The ship lap and brick fire place are perfection! Can’t wait to stay again!

2 Wiltbank
My mom and I enjoyed our stay at 2 Wiltbank! The cabin looks like it was newly renovated, and they did a great job on it! It is absolutely beautiful and comfortable. The cabin is managed by a company called Cabin Butler, so it is not self check-in, you will need to drop by a location in town (on your way to the cabin). It was easy to check-in, though. We were not able to lock the door from the outside (able to lock it on the inside when we were home), as it needs a code to lock it and we were only provided a key. So make sure to get the code when you check in so you can lock the door when you leave. We tried to call the property manager to get the code in order to lock it, but we never heard back from them. Location of the cabin is wonderful- it is off the main road with minimal neighbors nearby. The road to get to the cabin is a dirt road and steepish, so 4 wheel drive will be necessary in winter; but my front wheel drive SUV had no issues getting up there during summer. We loved that they had good outdoor furniture as we spent a lot of time outside enjoying the cool weather and rain. The cabin information online says it would comfortably fit 6 people, but it would be very cozy and hectic. The second bedroom has a bunk bed and the lower bunk is a double sized bed with the top bunk a twin sized bed. There is no storage in the bedrooms. The larger bedroom has a dresser and 2 drawers at the foot of the bed, but all of the drawers were taken up by bedding and only 1 drawer was available for clothes storage with 2 hooks, no closet space. And there was no clothes storage or hooks in the second smaller bedroom, so you will be living out of your suitcases. The kitchen was well stocked with basically everything you will need (pans, utensils, coffee maker, electric kettle, griddle, etc), but no blender or colander. We loved that there was a dishwasher- who wants to wash dishes on vacation? The heating system in the cabin works well, but can get annoying as it is loud and will go off and on every few seconds. The cabin was pretty clean, but the duvet cover in the larger bedroom had some stains on it. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and recommend it!
