Great place to stay for a family with kids - so close to beach, easy to run back as needed (and rinse off sandy feet in outdoor shower), lots of beach toys and towels, and so handy to have a wide range of kitchen items! Wish we could have stayed longer!

We had such a great time staying at this lovely cottage at the beach. All of us grew up in Del Mar and it's so wonderful to be able to come back to our old stomping grounds and relive our youth? This is the perfect location close to the beach and town. Will look forward to coming back!

We loved our recent stay at this home. The location is a half block from the beach, so we could come and go to the beach as needed with our little ones. The home had a very nice patio where we could relax and have dinner. We come to Del Mar every year with our family and will definitely stay here again!

Close to beach and restaurants. Good privacy and place was clean and comfortable. Only issue was getting lockbox code upon arrival. Sent several text and emails and finally called the emergency number. Never got a code for check out either.

We had a wonderful time in Del Mar at this home. Steps to the beach and the Powerhouse, great restaurants, sights, and thanks for the sunshine! This house had everything and more, comfy beds, totally great open floor plan kitchen/bar, dining, living area. Private porches from each room, outdoor shower, private sunny spaces. Kitchen was well appointed with all the gadgets and accroutrements necessary . We will be booking again.

We loved this place! It’s the perfect size and steps from such a great beach. Sunsets with the dolphins were amazing! It has everything you need and an enclosed yard for our dog. It’s clean and property management is super attentive. Highly recommend!

We loved the location & the house! December brought a bit of rain but we enjoyed beach walks nonetheless. We suggest a RING camera as our car was parked in the driveway and unfortunately was broken into. Property Manager was professional and beach house amenities were A+

This property was amazing. It was so beautiful and very comfortable. Walking distance to the beach was amazing. We loved the fact that they provided beach chairs, pop up shade, and Beach umbrellas. The wrap around garden and seating was so quiet and peaceful. Had a beautiful fire in the pot one night. Wonderful place to stay.

We are local to the area and we decided to rent this vrbo for a wedding in Del Mar. It was a perfect location, steps away from the beach, perfect bedrooms, very nice and clean. Fantastic having A/C especially on the very hot days during our stay. Everything was beyond expectations!

Cute beach cottage very near Del Mar Beach. Well equipped with chairs, umbrellas and walking distance to many restaurants. Only improvement I could suggest is replace that old wood burning firepit on the patio with a propane or gas firepit. Seems risky to use the old one so close to the house..

Location, location, location!

Location, location, location!

I chaperoned 6 teenage girls for a sweet 16 birthday and this place had the ideal layout and location. Kitchen was well-stocked with lots of platters and bowls for serving the group, seating aplenty. Beds were comfortable and rooms were quiet. A couple technical issues were sorted out quickly with management company. This was a staycation for us and I will highly recommend it to any visitors who come into town. The location was simply amazing.

I don’t want to share the score of this house for selfish reasons, but here I go despite myself. This place is wonderful. Inside, outside, proximity to town and beach — it just doesn’t get much better. Tyler is great you’re in the best of hands.

Positives: Great location - within walking distance to the beach. The set-up is great with the firepit. Open floorplan in kitchen and living room. Four adults were able to fit on the bunk beds. Biggest Issue: However, after a long drive of 5 hours, we arrived without an access code even after 3 hours after check-in time. After an hour and a half of waiting, calling, texting, and emailing VRBO and the primary contact, we finally received the access code. At check-out time, the code provided to input the key, was expired and we needed to wait for another code.

Wonderful place that was fully stocked with everything one needs for a week long stay. It was only steps from the beach and a short walk to several parks that overlook the ocean which was fantastic. We loved how dog friendly Del Mar was. And finally not far from San Diego as we drove in most days while we were there to see all the sights San Diego has to offer. We had a great time and highly recommend this place.

Great house - super clean and well stocked as if you are in your own home. Beds are very comfortable. Shower was hot and very clean. TV with YoutubeTV and full apps. Location is ideal if you like Del Mar - less than a minute to the ocean and Jake's. Park your car and spend the week walking. Location is very safe and well lit with plenty of outdoor seating too. It doesn't get better than this. 5 stars!

The house had everything we needed. The fenced in yard was great for enjoying the yard and the girls could be outside more. Great location - 100 steps to the beach. We loved the neighborhood - walking distance to two great restaurants and daily walks on the beach. My favorite of our winter rentals!!
