There are two other spacious and individually styled bedrooms and a bathroom located on the first floor, and a ground floor shower/wet room. Market Rasen High Street is home to independent shops and businesses. You will find traditional and long-standing family run shops including ironmongers, butchers, menswear confectionery, haberdashery and gift shops. The town boasts plenty of high-quality and award-winning places to eat.
The village of Tealby is about 30 minutes’ walk away from Oak house and Chestnut Cottage. There you will find the Kings Head pub-, the oldest thatched pub in Lincolnshire; and three must -visit Tealby tearooms with its quaint setting, and delightful afternoon teas. Or walk over to Walesby, home of All Saints 'Ramblers' Church. This iconic medieval church overlooks the village on the Viking Way. The view from the church is quite spectacular and inside is a beautiful stained glass window, depicting walkers and cyclists.

Good location. House very clean although some paint work needed sorting and a few loose floor tiles. Information on local doctors, vets, etc would be good aswell as places to visit, not just walking routes. Mezzanine bedroom really could do with something to make it darker as woken very early each morning to the sunrise. Lovely sunrise but as on holiday would love to have had a lay in. Hot tub was lovely and clean and much appreciated after a day of exploring. The only other thing would be towels included for the price we payed.

It was a terrific place with great views and a good location with plenty of nearby walks. Half an hour walk to the Kings Head in Tealby which is a lovely pub with lovely staff. Market Rasen looks nice but not much going on!
The kitchen at the property was well equipped with lots of utensils including sharp knives!
It’s such a quiet area and with few unnatural light sources it meant you could see loads of stars at night which was great. We used the hot tub every night which was very relaxing. Also excellent quality broadband which was useful as there was no Vodafone reception at the property although Virgin was ok
