Great place, friendly neighbors. Parking is a little tight for a full size truck.. We would defiantly rent here again.

The home is nicely updated and features two well appointed bedrooms. The heater in the home is amazing and will keep you toasty while cuddled up on the couch watching tv. The home is also located within walking distance to restaurants and shopping. Definitely recommend staying here!

This bungalow was a perfect fit for our family. It was comfortable and we felt at home right from the get go. Great location and close to all kinds of fun thing to do with the grandkids. We all agreed that this is the home we want to be in when we return again.

We appreciated the care that was put into this home to make it a comfortable stay. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to prepare meals. The bathroom is clean with a newer sink and shower and enough hot water for the three of us to enjoy warm showers. The beds and couch were comfortable and good sized. Overall, this home was great and we enjoyed our stay.

We just needed a place to stay while going out on adventures each day. This place was perfect. Small, clean, just what we needed. The only negative thing would be the parking. There were several times where someone else parked in our designated parking spot in the driveway, but that was it. Definitely worth the stay!

Not a house, it’s a duplex. No air conditioning and we spent 3 nights with 81 plus degrees inside.
There are NO grab bars in the shower making it difficult for older people.
The price quoted doesn’t include a bunch of FEES (several hundred) Final cost per night was more than a nice hotel.
It was very clean and well stocked except for only ONE towel each meaning we had to wash towels if we wanted a clean one.
All in all it was nice BUT trying to sleep in that stuffy hot place when it isn’t safe to sleep with windows open was not what we expected for the cost!! We are two old ladies… sisters…. I come a couple times a year and wanted to try a Vrbo house here in Hillsboro. I’ve stayed in others in different states.
It was convenient to MAX and other stores. People around us were very friendly and helpful.
Just know what to expect. Lots of fans around but just didn’t help with temperature in the 90s.

The bungalow was adorable. It was immaculate, up-to-date and bright. The kitchen was a delight to cook, eat in with a bright window, and to clean up with a wonderful dishwasher. There were good supplies for doing so. I especially liked having a washing machine and dryer and being able to throw towels in the dryer for warmth after a shower!
One criticism is that there are no grab bars in the shower which could be a serious liability. And the tv was very difficult to use. We had to get a manager to come in and program it for us. Another is that there is no central air but the kitchen window AC did a good job with the help of a fan to cool down the whole space in 90 degree temps.
The location was about 10 minutes from most restaurants and especially Orenco Station area, and a Walgreens was within 5 minutes!

We moved my daughter to Oregon from the east cost and wanted a home base to relax in while setting up her apartment. The check in was easy. Communication was great - quick response to a small issue. The space is maximized and well laid out. The beds—- super comfy!

*Air conditioner was not up to the task, too small. Only one fan in the property for two bedrooms. We left a second fan there when we left. *The property was infested with ants! *There were 3 to 4 full trash bins at the street in front of the building the entire two weeks. Trash was only picked up just before we left.

This is a very nice place. Safe neighborhood. Close to everything! We had a great time. Thank you for hosting us. We’ll definitely be back!

The heat was very inconsistent. There was no adjustment to my life emergency to change my reservation. The house had an odd smell.

Had a nice time at the property. Both beds were comfortable memory foam. The only issue we had was a odor when we arrived. Smelled like rotting garbage to me but we couldn’t figure out where it was coming from. I donated a couple of odor absorbing air fresheners to the property that cleared up the smell. My mother loved sitting on the couch with the wall furnace keeping her warm. I’d stay again.

This experience was so easy and perfect. Absolutely comfy and homey.

Disappointed by the beds and the poor air conditioning and dryness in the house. The mattresses on both beds are ultra firm memory foam. We tried to sleep on them for two nights and just couldn’t do it.
The window unit in the kitchen is just not enough to keep the bedrooms comfortable unless it runs all day so you have to figure that out and set it accordingly. Both my wife and I noticed after being back to the house we both felt very dried out, a little congested and I believe it’s from dust inside the house. Just a basic humidifier in the house would really help. Wouldn’t stay here again and I typically don’t leave reviews but want future guests to be aware of what we had to work with. Should have keep the hotel reservation.

Would absolutely stay again!
We had a lovely 4-night stay at Walnut West while visiting Hillsboro for a wedding at Horning's Hideout (a short 25 minute drive away).
The entire place was very clean, the beds were comfortable, and having the washer/dryer readily available was a really nice convenience. Communication from the hosts before we arrived was top-notch and the binder provided within the unit was very helpful.
The kitchen was well equipped which allowed us to make a handful of meals there rather than eating out the entire time- which we appreciated. That said, there were many great restaurants and bars within walking distance for when we wanted to venture out. We loved that this spot was on a quiet street but also super close to the grocery store, bars, restaurants and ice cream shops (Jim's is highly recommended!)
We would absolutely stay again- thanks for everything!

Amazing quiet peaceful property
I lived in Hillsboro and banks from 1999-2002. We come back often to see family and friends but this is the first time we needed to find a hotel or rental. I am so beyond grateful that we picked this comfy cozy retreat instead of a hotel for our week long stay. This place has everything you will need! Thank you so much! Love, Hedstrom-Pelger family from Chandler, AZ

Cozy space for family
We stayed here to get out of our house while it was being remodeled. It had everything we needed and we were appreciative to find a little home away from home. There can be some neighborhood noise at night from cars and traffic but after the first couple of nights we didn't notice it. Great property that met our needs.

Comfortable place in a convenient location
This was a great place for me and my son to stay while we were visiting friends. They were very flexible when our plans had to change due to the pandemic.

Pleasant stay
My group of 4 adults had a wonderful visit in Hillsboro. Since it was thanksgiving week we really appreciated the kitchen. All the utensils and pots were perfect for making the side dishes we bringing. The beds were firm but comfortable. The shower was great. There’s a washing machine to do laundry. And the backyard with a barbecue if that’s what you feel like doing.

Walnut Street West - Nice, Clean, Convenient
I rented the Walnut Street West home for a weekend in early November, 2021. It was easy to find, located conveniently to lots of shops in Hillsboro, and was clean and well-appointed inside and out. I would definitely rent it again the next time I need a weekend rental in the Hillsboro area.

Great home away from home
What a nice gem! Home is furnished nicely with everything you need to cook or enjoy your coffee or smoothie in the morning. I enjoyed having a great backyard space to enjoy some sunshine and do my workouts. Beds were amazingly comfortable. Highly recommend. The only exception is the area, which is remote if you’re looking for something close to Portland.

Cozy Home, Convenient Location, Great Price!
The 2 bedroom unit cozy, it has everything that you need - comfortable beds, nice sectional sofa, and a fully equipped kitchen with pots, pans, dishwasher and hand soap, toilet paper, towels, etc. The fenced in backyard is pretty spacious that our toddler enjoyed running around. The rancher is actually split into 2 rental unit and best for a couple or a small family. There is only 1 air vent, so leave the bedroom doors open (otherwise the bedroom will turn into an icebox!), the air distribution is a little off and there are no ceiling fans. It's a safe Hispanic neighborhood with lots of Mexican fast food restaurants. We really enjoyed Ochero's a few blocks away. Walnut Park is just a block away and Shute Park is much larger with a big playground that's a short 10 min walk. We went there several times and enjoyed Jim's Ice Cream! There are no grocery stores within walking distance - Walgreens is a 20 min walk or quick drive up the road and just a 5 min drive to Safeway. We enjoyed our stay and this property is a bargain! Looking forward to staying here again!

The Walnut Bungalow has everything you need for a comfortable stay, whether it’s brief or long term. The iTrip team is also a very accommodating host to work with. Definitely recommend to those looking for something in the Hillsboro/Beaverton area.
