Lots of fun, great location, great place for our family of five

The beds were comfy and the bathrooms were well appointed. Plenty of linens. I wish that it was listed that the washer and dryer had a cost, and required quarters ahead of time. The internet was spotty and cut out, sometimes for15 minutes. I liked that the door to the hall connecting units 4&5 locked, which was nice at night. I wasnt initially given the door code for unit 5 in neither the welcome text northe email, so the check-in instructions should be reviewed.
Overall, great stay, would visit again!

Wonderful room with great amenities. Great location with a wonderful restaurant/bakery/ bar underneath.

Lovey little town and the Colonel Suites 4 & 5 served as a perfect place for our two couples to stay and to explore ALL of Acadia and surroundings.
The kitchenette does not have a stove which we worked around. There was not seating for the 4 of us in one place (maybe they could add two folding chairs?). The water pipes in 5 "sang" with every flush of the toilet and the toilet in 4 had a water loose water tank. Hot water temperture was a a few tads above warm. Oddly, a new sofa was delivered to the suite while we were out one day. I was surprised we did not know people would be in our rooms delivering a sofa while we were out.
With a few tweeks and a bit more maintenance, it would be perfect place for two couples traveling together to stay while visiting Acadia.

The room was clean and amenities were simple but functional. The automated check in / check out did not work and no one would answer the phone when called. Wouldn’t stay there again.

The rooms were clean and well appointed. We probably would have taken the offered rollaway bed over the sofa sleeper, but my daughter needed room to move with crutches after an accident shortly before we arrived. The sofa sleeper mattress was pretty darned bad, but that's not a surprise. When we requested conditioner and batteries for remotes, they were dropped off within hours. Message was responded to by Vacasa within minutes. Sitting atop a restaurant/bakery was a plus! The bread, pastries and cake donuts are yum! The air conditioners work well. They turn on at the thermostat and not the unit, and there are 3 of them, along with ceiling fans to keep you cool. All in all, a respectable place to stay

Comfortable quiet unit was a good choice for a family of 3. Biggest surprise was when we first entered the unit and found the A/C blasting and the temp setting at 55. FREEZING! Later realized the people before us followed the strict instruction to set thermostat at 55 without turning off the A/C. We simply turned the heat/A/C off since temps are very mild this time of year.

We stayed in the suites 4 & 5. Lots of space, in a great location for easy travel to Acadia and Bar Harbor. Extremely clean. You could kind of hear the next door neighbors from 4 but not terrible. The beds were very very firm. My travel parter liked it, I was not comfortable at all. Personal preference. But overall great value for the $.
