About this house rental
Located next to the Fredericksburg civil war park in very quiet and tree filled 2 acres land on a dead end street. You can take 5 minutes short walk to access the park and enjoy more than 10 miles of historical beautiful federal civil war park paths for biking or walking. Or you can just stay in the house and relax with the tranquility hearing bird songs, doing some outdoor cooking on the seasonal pool deck, relax in the sauna, and/or take a leisurely walk around the house on the circular drive way. Or you can visit charming historical Fredericksburg downtown, very walkable, filled with restaurants and shops, George Washington boyhood home, Kenmore (George Washington sister home), and/or Rappahannock river walking path. They are only 15 minutes’ drive away. One can enjoy commuter train day-trip to Washington DC. The train station is only 10 minutes away.

2. Swimming pool is only open from Memorial day weekend through Labor day weekend. Guest need to provide firewood. They are available from Lowes nearby.
3. The pool is not heated, replastered in 2021, and well maintained.
4. The sauna is open year around.
5. A hard copy of the rental agreement will be available in the house.
6. If the rental agreement document is not available for download or review in the house rule section as "rentalagreement.pdf", you can contact the host to get one. Sometimes it happens due to VRBO. But if you finish booking, you will get one in the confirmation email or message.

We had a great time hanging around the pool and visiting all the nearby attractions. There was no shortage of places to eat or shop if you needed, and we even were able to get Door Dash delivered. We were in range of our day trip plans to Kings Dominion and some museums at the Smithsonian in DC. The house was perfect for our needs! Mr Park was a perfect host, very friendly and very responsive. Over all this was a great visit.
If we were to point out improvement areas, the bedroom ceiling fan was very dusty so maybe a seasonal deep clean, and the living room furniture was pretty uncomfortable so we didn't really hang out there as a family.

This property is secluded without being in the middle of no where. You can cook and grill. You can also go out or order from all the restaurants near by. The pool and sauna are well maintained. The sauna was a fun addition to my vacation as well as the burn pit. Mr. Park maintains the interior and exterior of the property very well and is a wonderful host. Would and will definitely stay again!

The inside of the house was nice and clean but the pool floor was dirty with algae and the backyard had too much foliage on the floor which made it feel unclean. I think the house could use some improvement in the backyard area to be more accurate to the pictures shown and overall be even more enjoyable.

The house was exactly as described. It was located in a quiet neighborhood with easy and walkable access to Lee Road which is part of the battlefield. The pool was perfect for an afternoon dip after exploring battlefields, the downtown and/or some of the local hiking trails. Our host came to clean the pool and always checked with us first before coming over. I also have to say the beds were very comfortable. Overall it was clean, quiet and located near enough to all that Fredericksburg has to offer.

My husband and I, along with a good friend stayed three nights at this nice home. The house was very clean and worked well for us as we traveled by train into Washington DC each day. During the evening hours we were able to relax in the cozy, quite home while enjoying all the amenities that the home provided. We would definitely stay again.

A wonderful host, who responded quickly to questions. He was very kind and respectful. The location was very private and was perfect for exploring battlefields. I would strongly recommend this home.

Wonderful house. Well appointed kitchen and bathrooms. Beds and pillows very comfortable. Only suggestion would be for comfortable couch and chairs in living room. What’s there is too hard.

We very much enjoyed our stay. It is in a location that is very quiet. More importantly the house was very clean with nicely updated bathrooms and kitchen. We would stay there again.

We were a family of five, three kids ages 1, 3, 5. We enjoyed the town of Fredericksburg, just a ten minute drive away. We’d go to town at least once a day, and for the hours in between, having the pool at the house to entertain the kids (and parents), was key! It was very clean and a nice temperature (it was August). The house had a nice kitchen and bathrooms, they seemed to be newly updated. There was very good communication, with notes around the house to explain what was what. we were very happy with our stay.

We have stayed here twice now and really enjoy the pool and private location it offers. The owner came daily to check and clean the pool but was leaving as we woke up to play! He did not need to enter the house, so it was not a problem at all. The location to downtown Fredericksburg and grocery stores is convenient and makes things easier. My only con would be that the living room furniture is not the most comfortable. But we will return to enjoy the pool and relaxation the property provides.

The house was clean and gorgeous. Host was amazing to work with and has everything we could possibly want and need ready for us. We look forward to staying at this rental again! Everything to do was within a short driving distance yet the residence was quiet and secluded. We loved it!

Great location, close to area attractions, things to do and places to eat. House was clean and well equipped for our couples weekend. Pool area was clean, unfortunately it rained most of our weekend so we couldn't use it. But we did have a small window of opportunity to sit outside and it was such a peaceful and quiet area. We will certainly come back to this house again in the future...

The description is fairly accurate. The pool was very enjoyable and very clean. Great location and extremely quiet. The beds were very comfortable with plenty of blankets if needed. The owner has labeled a number of areas, so you know how to use the particular amenity. That was helpful. However, bring additional trash bags and paper towels. There are a few things that could use some upgrades like outdoor furniture and the fire pit. However the owner charges a VERY reasonable price for the house, so I still give it a five star review because most houses with a pool do not rent for this price. The owner was great to deal with. The only knock on cleanliness was because of the pots and pans in the kitchen were dirty. Overall we were very satisfied with our stay.

The best Air B&B experience i have had. Host was friendly, welcoming and accomodating. Great communications and response time. Hone was beautiful, comfortable, clean and quiet. Wonderful amenties and welcome treats. If you are planning a visit to the Fredericksburg area, you need to stay here! We will be back in the fall and hope to stay again.

• Driving instructions to the house were helpful and Owner quickly responded to our questions and requests.
• door entrance code We was easy and logical to use
• The house was very clean and organized with plenty of towels and extra blankets.
• there were helpful labels posted at light switches and doors
• We were especially thankful the white binder included television operation and a photo of remote control.
• Our only suggestion is that the kitchen includes salt and pepper and a few spices.
• We did not use the pool but enjoyed sitting outside in the forested surroundings. A fox with youngsters played in the yard for our entertainment.
This is definitely a “5” house and Owner.

The house felt like home as soon as we walked in. Plenty of room for the group I was with, clean and very quiet; even with teenagers talking late into the night on the other side of the wall we couldn’t hear them. Convenient to the train station and Fredericksburg down town.
The yard was blooming and we enjoyed taking pictures of the beautiful flowers.

Had a great time at this property and in Fredericksburg. The location is away from the bustle but very close to downtown and practically on the battlefield. The house was immaculate and comfortable, the outside wall well outfitted and the bed was comfy. It was just the two of us however would be great for families

The property was nicely wooded, but very convenient to the local area. Everything was clean and worked. One bathroom had a tub and the other bathroom had a shower which worked for all of us. This was the cleanest, most well equipped home I have ever stayed in. (And I have rented many homes over the years.)
The property is very secluded and private, yet close to everything. We look forward to coming back in the summer to enjoy the large pool.

The owners clearly care about making your stay comfortable and personally arranged to be sure the pool was ready for our use. I appreciated the attentiveness and follow thru thru our stay. The home is very comfortable. They provide detail thru the home which made it very easy to utilize the amenities and very detailed information on the environment to be sure "out of town" guests would identify animals naturally around Fredericksburg. The beds were comfortable, everything was clean. The pool was a highlight for us. I will try to book again next time I travel to Virginia.

House was so much bigger in person. Pool was fantastic and the house sits in a great location. Great brewery Strangeways Brewing near by. Owner was quick to respond and has everything you need including some snacks, water, and coffee. Will definitely stay here again when we are in the area.

Beautiful and peaceful place to stay!
I have nothing but good things to say about staying here. The house was beautiful and so clean and well maintained. The pool was amazing and clean and we all loved it. The house is secluded so we had privacy but was close enough to go to the store, to eat, etc. Everything was there that you would need such as 2 grills, fire pit, laundry, internet, television, kitchen supplies, and bathroom supplies. Very easy rental process. I will definitely rent again in the future and will recommend this house to anyone coming to the Fredericksburg area for a stay.

This lovely home is a surprise gem. Tucked away (but not too fair 😉) This little home has it all. Very clean, easy access and an amazing pool/outdoor area.
