Very nice. Easy check in and check out. Eddie was very good with communication. Beautiful lake and a very relaxing time around the fire. Everything you need is there. Very well stocked.

We enjoyed our stay at this lovely property on the lake. The property had a nice firepit where we enjoyed smores and the evening stars. We also enjoyed using the kayak and canoe for a paddle around the lake. I only wish the property was set back off the road a bit due to noise from nearby traffic. Otherwise it is a beautiful spot.

The location was amazing, trees and flowers and plants. It was cool and quiet and incredibly peaceful. The house was modern and carefully decorated, with everything we needed. The host quickly responded to questions with tips and suggestions for the area- food, things to do, wildlife to look for, places to go. We had a wonderful time and would rent it again.

We brought our pup with us on this family trip to Acadia. We enjoy being out of the hustle and bustle of areas and this place provided that. Some of the photos and set ups should be updated, the bottom floor has the most beds and it also has a walk out to the backyard. Our kids loved that!
While I wished that this was a little further back from the road, this definitely was the right place in terms of space and amenities for our family. My fiancé worked on the wrap around porch while my children and I ventured off to downtown Bucksport as well as met some really lovely locals.
Acadia is an hour away, which was perfect for as and entire property was definitely large enough to have our pup enjoy swimming in the water as well as let us enjoy canoeing and fishing off of the dock in the back.
This allowed us to enjoy visiting Bar Harbor as well as Acadia for the day with our little ones and our pup and come back to quiet and enjoy the sit in spa tub with my little ones.
There are 3 levels which allowed us to also have space from our little ones while they had plenty of room to explore and play on the basement level. There were toy boxes on the basement level and main level my children called "treasure boxes" and plenty of board games and activities that kept us busy.
The kitchen is a dream. The communication was amazing, I never went without a response or unanswered question.
We would absolutely come here again and hope to on our next visit to Acadia!!

This home was perfect! It was meticulous! Kudos to the owner and the cleaning person! Everything you could need or want is in this property! Sitting out by the lake is so serene!

Such a relaxing and worthwhile getaway!

By far the best rental we have experienced. Everything we needed was provided, the house was clean and cozy, and the lake was beautiful. We enjoyed a bon fire in the evening and stargazing. I look forward to returning.

We stayed at the house with our family and pup for our anniversary. We loved the house and all the extras like the kayaks and canoe. The house was cozy and we loved trying out the local coffee that was provided. It was well equiped with every thing we need, utensils, towels, etc. The only thing that concerned us was how close the house was to the main road. It was busy at all hours of the day and night.

Eddie and team went above and beyond ! Well stocked! Great location between Bar Harbor and Bangor and pup friendly rental !

We arrived the Saturday afternoon that Hurricane Lee had come through. There was a slight issue with the linens but Eddie / Tina resolved that as soon as they could. The unfortunate part was that we lost electricity due to the storm later the night of arrival which means you lose water also. We never regained it for the remainder of our two nights there. Now - that is definitely not the fault of the host. I will say that Eddie and Tina were fabulous to communicate with. Eddie was very gracious and refunded one of the two nights since we had no power / water and lost the food in the fridge / freezer. He certainly didn't have to do that but was very appreciated. The house has all the amenities - down to the small details which is a nice touch. Everything is nicely labeled. The house sits on a beautiful lake and has a dock to sit out on. We would have liked to have enjoyed the outside amenities but the weather didn't allow for that. Would definitely be a great place to relax. Only about an hour away from Acadia.

Had an amazing time celebrating our friend Birthday. The house was perfect and the lake so beautiful! We went canoeing, take out lobsters from a local restaurant and visit Acadia National Park which was around 55 minutes away but the drive was espectacular! We definitely recommend staying at this cute lake house ❤️

Everything was very clean in the cabin. Even though we were there while it was chilly and icy outside, we were quite comfortable inside. Perfect layout to give teens some privacy and their own sleeping space, and with shared family areas for playing some of the board games provided in the cabin. Easy drive to Bangor, Orono, and U Maine. Highly recommend!

Loved the area and the cabin was delightful. Eddie was super nice and helpful when needed. Had a great stay.

Loved this little house!! I tend to pick a house that has a useable kitchen and this one was great for cooking! The whole layout of the house works. The area is nice and quiet as well. Would love to come back in warm weather to take advantage of the lake. Thanks Eddie!!!

We enjoyed a three day stay with our daughter, her husband, and boys age 5, 3, & 1, and everyone had a great time. It was comfortable and a great home base for our excursions to Acadia. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen is well stocked and easy to use, and there was room for everyone to enjoy. The hosts have thought of everything to make the stay a great. Eddie went to out of his way to make sure we had all we needed. We are looking forward to coming back again.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We loved the campfires by the lake. The home was perfect for our family. Communication with Eddie was superb! He was quick to respond from booking until the end of our stay. We would highly recommend!!

The cabin was warm, clean, well equipped, centrally located and very welcoming. The views of the pond were amazing. Our nightly campfires we're so relaxing after our daily trips hiking, looking for moose or doing some retail therapy. Eddie was the best host. We will be back!

We stayed here with our pup. The property abutted a beautiful lake and had a dock which we loved hanging out at and enjoying the fresh air! We were also able to canoe which was so peaceful. The jetted tub was also so relaxing after a long day exploring. The owner was very communicative and they really thought of everything! I’ve never been to a more well stocked accommodation! Our stay was so cozy, we will definitely be back!

Eddie was great with communication and the place came exactly as displayed. Very easy to check in/out as the process is layed out in detail and well organized. Would recommend this place for anyone looking to stay in the area.

Nice welcome package, great place on the lake. Very close to a busy, curvy road, so watch out if you walk there.

Very relaxing and beautiful! Take a step away from reality and enjoy a breath of fresh air!! I only rated good for clean cause it definitely needed to be dusted and cobwebs gone but I was a cleaner so I am definitely on the picker side! But it smells clean and fresh!

Very organized, lovely welcome basket! Great for family with kids to enjoy water sports. We have small dogs so being so close to a busy road made walking them a bit difficult. Easy check in and check out!

What a wonderful escape!
Excellent experience all around! Kids loved the sleeping alcove on the lower level, the fishing, kayak, canoes, inner tubes, swimming, duck spotting, frog catching etc. I loved the quiet morning coffee on the deck looking out at the peaceful pond. There was something for everyone! Our goals included Bar Harbor and Acadia and while it’s definitely doable, it’s a little bit of a haul for the day. But once we were tucked into this home we had everything we needed and more. Bucksport has a delicious pizza joint and Fort Knox was also a close by hit with everyone. So thoughtfully stocked and the owners were wonderfully responsive to any of our questions. Lovely stay. ❤️

Family week on Long Pond
We had a lovely stay! The house was very thoughtfully equipped for a family vacation. The property owner was very responsive to our needs. The outdoor supplies: canoes, kayak, fishing rods & supplies, grill, picnic tables, dock, deck chairs, fire pit…made every day full of fun & adventures. One note of caution if you have young children: the house is near a road. But with foresight you can be safe.

Perfect Maine Getaway
Our family of five were first timers in Maine and we are so happy we found the lake house. We flew into Portland and it is about a two hour drive to get to Bucksport. From the lake, it took us about an hour to get to Bar Harbor/Acadia and we loved retreating back to the lake after our hikes. The house had so many amenities and supplies to stay clean and organized during our stay and the washer/dryer access was such a plus, as now we have no laundry to do upon returning home:). The yard, dock, canoes (2), and kayak were thoroughly enjoyed and long pond was quiet and peaceful. There is also a big fire pit with chairs and kindling, which we enjoyed as well. We stayed in and cooked dinner two of our evenings and there is a gas grill and fully stocked kitchen that made it easy to do so.
There is some traffic noise at night from the top bedroom but the kids did not hear anything on the bottom floor. It was more intense during the weekday evenings then on the weekend but we got used to it. The house was spotless when we arrived and all of us had plenty of towels and comfortable bedding. We really appreciated the communication ease with questions we had ahead of time and we would absolutely stay here again in the future! Thank you, Eddie!!!

This property was wonderful! We canoed, sat on the deck, and made s'mores while there. Everything inside the house was well- maintained and perfect to welcome guests. Eddie did a great communicating and was always ready to help in anyway needed. I would happily stay here again anytime!

This was our first time in the area. It was magnificent. As for the house it was immaculate and very accommodating

This property was situated right on a lake with a terrific deck with new wood and wire rails for great views. The kitchen worked well for all of our meals as we ate in. The three bathrooms were clean and stocked with nice products. Beds were comfortable with lots of extra blankets for chilly Maine evenings. It looks bigger in the photos (wide-angle lens?) but it was perfect for 3 generations to share. Easy to get to from Bangor and Orono. Great alternative to getting several hotel rooms!

My wife and I had a wonderful time at this beautiful property. The seclusion was perfect for a couple trying to get some time away from kids. Management couldn’t have been any better!

Cozy place for a relaxing weekend in
Everything I needed was available to my surprise. Candle lighters, towels, air purifiers, breakfast skillets, plates and coffee mugs, I really appreciated having these things provided. The bubble bath tub was my favorite and the towels were nice as I forgot my own. The lake view was amazing and peaceful. Will be returning in the future for sure.

Lovely cottage with plenty of room for the whole family to spread out. We loved having two master suites, one with its own secondary living room. The kitchen/living area was great for the whole gang to hang out in. We appreciated the extra touches like organic soaps and cleaning supplies. I would definitely stay here again.

`The owner responded quickly but had to be prompted to give information like the lock box key entry as well as other information. The house is pieced together but it had individual charm. My husband enjoyed fishing off the pier and we all enjoyed evenings outside with the campfire. The previous renter had a dog and unfortunately there was literally dog hair everywhere. Rugs were full of hair as were linens . We stayed in the upstairs bedroom which had a very comfortable bed and was located right on the road. It was very loud. The other bedroom was on the bottom level and the rather loud dehumidifier needed to be run 24/7 to combat the musty smell. There was no check-out instructions. I feel bad that the cleaner was terrible as I don’t think the owner was aware that they were charging him and barely cleaning the house. He seemed very upset and tried to make it right by offering to send them back to clean it again and also crediting Us the cleaning fee. I appreciated that. We still had a good time and enjoyed the area.
