Exceptional

It’s so quaint! It’s right near by stores and the waterfront. My family and I stayed here and thoroughly enjoyed it. Staff was also so friendly and a joy!

Just wished there were more outlets haha

Calm and peaceful

Inn was beautiful with great harbor setting. Staff was friendly and helpful. Dinner on premise was delicious.

Breakfast was below average. Fresh fruit would help. The baked items were not appealing. Dry and processed muffins.

We paid 1000.00 dollars more and only stayed one extra day than our travel friends, and had a smaller room. Not happy ab

It was right on the water and a marina and the little town was so nice

Not much parking and it was real tight. Hard to get in and out.

Cute place, good for a night

The staff was so friendly, the room was really cute, and the air conditioning in the room was awesome

Bathroom wasn't the cleanest. Beds were old and uncomfortable. Ice machine didn't work.

Good location and comfortable. Breakfast was great and having refrigerator in room was nice.

Ceiling fan not cleaned, very dusty. Extra towels would have been nice.

Had a great time and would come again.

Staff was friendly, facilities clean and great access to town. Wine hour charming and breakfest buffett was perferct. Interior design was comforting and loved the outdoor deck overlooking the water.

Too many stairs to the outer suites.

absolutely lovely staff & very spacious room

Our room was huge! Very clean, the bed was so comfy, and the linens smelled fresh, not like bleach. the view was incredible of the marina. can’t go wrong with #32

The breakfast. pretty stark. competitors we’ve stayed with prior knock it out of the park. very basic continental. Will discourage us from staying again and we’ll go back to our normal b&b who serves a 3-course breakfast for the same price of the room.

Tranquil is the perfect name for this place. October stay was very peaceful.

The breakfast was good. Also appreciated the wine and cheese from 3-4. The bed was good. Loved the setting and liked to be able to walk around the waterfront.

No fridge. Some plugs in room 28 didn't work. When we would flush the toilet we were never sure it would flush properly. Maybe upgrade to a high efficiency/low water unit. Would be nice to have soap/shampoo/conditioner dispensers in the shower.

We enjoyed our stay at The Tranquil House Inn. Hope to visit again!

The continental breakfast was good. It was enough of a selection to tide us over till dinner.

I wish that the on site restaurant had been open on our first night there.

We loved the Inn, it surpassed our expectations and we had a relaxing and comfortable stay.

I loved that the rooms had hardwood floors, the room was very clean and spacious. It was really convenient having an easily accessible ice machine. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. We really enjoyed the happy hour in the afternoon, and the views!!!

The shower did not drain especially well. Also, the toilet paper holder did not hold the roll in place well. Other than that, no complaints!

This property location made everything so easy to access during our 2-day celebration!

Location was exceptional by being on the waterfront of downtown Manteo. Enjoyed the upstairs shared deck to chill and relax. Within walking distance of small shops, restaurants, Festival Park and Lighthouse. Property included continental breakfast, and featured a restaurant within the property for dinner (however, we did not have opportunity to eat there). The room was clean, bed comfortable and staff were very helpful and knowledgeable of the area. This location was within 3.5 miles of “The Lost Colony” outdoor play, and a short drive from Kitty Hawk/OBX.

Had Keurig 1-cup coffee machine in room, but no pods/cups available

We had hoped that it would be like it was when we stayed there in 2010. Unfortunately, it was not

What breakfast? Hard boiled eggs, yogurt and small muffins? In 2010, it was a real breakfast. Something good, is that the staff found an item which we had mistakenly left behind and they mailed it to us.

1. Breakfasts could have actually been breakfasts. 2. Mattress was horrible!!! 3. Wine, cheese, and crackers at 3:00PM? How about 5:00PM or 6:00PM?
