Clean, stocked, and friendly hosts. Will stay again.

We enjoyed the clean, cozy apartment and comfy bed. Nice place to hang out. Lovely morning light in the kitchen.

This was the perfect place to stay for our weekend swim meet at EMU! Boys and girls had their own spaces, we were able to make meals, quiet street/neighbors, VERY clean and neat place, and excellent communication from our hostess. We would highly recommend staying here!
4.5
The property was well maintained and clean. The owner was welcoming and the check in/out process was easy. The neighborhood was quite and we walked to the local pub The Tap Room. I highly recommend you stop in for a drink. The property is about 10 minutes from the football stadium.

Glory was a great host. She responded promptly to all communications. The rental was clean, comfortable, and just as advertised. I felt very safe and comfortable for the four days we stayed. I’d go back in a heartbeat next time I’m in Ypsi! Great location close to downtown, and within walking distance to depot town (although driving is also super easy).

Glory was a good host. I made this booking because I thought the price was good compared to what else was available at the time. I wish the post directly mentioned that you are in a partitioned section of the same house as the owner. Otherwise, the post is as listed. Glory did provide a lot of amenities and appliances for us to use during the times we were there. She was also expeditious in handling an issue came up with the bathroom toilet. Will admit that the Ypsilanti neighborhood is a little shady - if you google search it you can see that there have been shooting deaths as recent as 2022. Nevertheless, no harm came to my party during our stay.
All these things considered, this spot is decent, and Glory works very hard to be a good host. However, I think I would just pay full price for a hotel if I ever do come back.

There are too many good things to say about this apartment, to mention them all, but here are a few: Location – convenient to the interstate, and a quick walk into town… about 10 minutes further puts you in Depot town, which is a very cool place. Found out that every Thursday night in the summer, they have a classic car show, right there on the street – – a DJ is there playing 50s music. Lots of great bars restaurants; friendly and laid-back place. Glory, our host, is very friendly, without being intrusive, and will help you sort out any issues you might have.… The apartment is pretty awesome! Comfortable bed; Well equipped and easy to use kitchen; (and everything else that is listed)… My favorite, though, is a little table in the backyard which is a great place to have your coffee in the morning, or sit for a while, to read. I was taking a pretty intense four day class, in Ann Arbor, and it was an easy drive back-and-forth. I got there a few days early, so by the time I was into that schedule, the apartment really felt like my home.… Just a note, that it is not going to be for somebody with mobility issues, since there is a significant stairway, up to the apartment--- but if you are reasonably able bodied, it's fine! I will definitely be back, when I have more time to explore the area.

Really enjoyed this stay -- the two-bedroom apartment had a great kitchen and was extremely comfortable. It was within walking distance of everything, and a good place to stay in and relax. Hosts were wonderful, and it was enjoyable to sit in the backyard on a warm spring evening. Highly recommend.

The apartment was cozy. Pretty center for a couple of day trips to other Michigan areas. The hosts were very responsive.
Thanks for hosting us, we had a great stay.

Property was dirty I have pictures! Stove was disgusting! Constant odor from owners cooking! No central heat! Register in back bedroom doesn't work! No snow removal! I found myself shoveling drive way at 4am ! Owner is rude and is always in attack mode! I have obtained an attorney as she pocketed 7 days of prepaid rent! I Left 7 days early! Glory I have seeked legal council and will hold you accountable! This woman is a con artist! I only had a cell phone and DVD player and she tried to convince me I ram up her bill! You were always cooking and had your Windows open in the two coldest months if the year!

We really enjoyed our stay at this well maintained VRBO. It was located in a very walkable historic neighborhood near the heart of Ypsilanti. Many interesting restaurants, coffee shops, etc. were nearby. The apartment itself was cheerful, clean and comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with everything you'd need to prepare a meal. The hosts were congenial and available as needed. We highly recommend.

Very clean with nice amenities and lovely decorations. Very quiet and private. We especially enjoyed having two bedrooms since my snoring bothers my wife. Be ready for two flights of stairs - but as a couple of 73 year old seniors, we still feel it was worth it.

Small, cozy but perfect for a short stay. Residential area of town, but close to restaurants and major in and out highways. Had a very small issue with sink and owner took care of it right away. Nice place.

It was perfect for my stay. The host was extremely friendly, the space was clean and inviting.

Your place was perfect for us. Impressed with what you did and how clean it was.

Clean, comfortable. Very basic. Shower would be too small for taller guests. Low shower water pressure . Not a desirable location.

Could not find the house due to no house number and no lighting on the house. Host did not answer phone. Had to stay at the Super 8 instead.

This house was the perfect size for my friend and I. It was very clean and so adorable!

We really enjoyed our stay here, and felt fortunate to have a chance to meet our hosts who were both lovely to chat with. The house is old and charming, and the apartment is comfortable and familiar in a cozy way. We appreciated that it was just a few short blocks to downtown Ypsilanti, and just a few more blocks from Depot Town, so it was easy to take a stroll, grab dinner/ice cream, and admire the historic architecture.

Wonderful stay and excellent host. Pictures are spot on with the description of the place. Kitchen was stocked with the basic of what you might need to start of a vacation. The coffee and creamer were great along with the apple sauce and yogurt. The bed was nice and firm for great night of sleep. Location was easy to find and get around town. Loved the fireflies as they were a first time insect for this west coast gal to experience. ;-) I wanted time to see the Hudson Automotive Museum Ford Museum of American Innovations and the Fire House Museum but wedding stuff took precedence. Next time for sure going to make it to these. I did go see my niece in Yorkville Ill which was an easy 4 hour drive away. I didn't realize how close the states are to get around to. Oh another place to go to if you like Christmas is the Bronner's Christmas store in Frankenmuth. I left at 745 in the morning and was at the store in 1.5 hours. Wish I had more then an hour to shop but I needed to get back for the wedding. Anyway Glory was an excellent host and easy to chat with when I needed anything at a reasonable hour.

Unfortunately our stay did not end on the best note, aside from the booking not being in the most safest area which we made due, we had a issue with the oven, we stayed for 3 weeks (i wish they would’ve checked all the appliances so they worked before us staying for 3 weeks and further making us buy take out food and not saving money by cooking) Our oven did not work when we tried to use it . So after about a week of back and fourth communication with the property owner, they were able to get a new oven however having an oven was important to us, at first the communication with our property owner was great but she began to not be as responsive (I didn’t even know we got a new oven until we came back to our place and found the broken oven in the yard and there was no communication of what they had done, I had to go up to the apartment and find out for my self, and have since to here any communication. I’m not sure if it was due the fact that they replaced the broken oven with one that had dirt and maggots coming out the side of it…this “new” oven had dead maggots crawling out the back of the oven…. I do have photos of it all I just don’t see an addition to add them. It’s just too bad because I am a student so is the other person who stayed here and we saved a lot of money to stay in this place for school purposes just to have this happen not mention the health concerns of having dead maggots coming out of the oven. Moral of the story is be careful where you book.

I come to visit my family in the Ypsi-Ann Arbor area often, but this was my first time staying in Ypsilanti. I am so happy I found this place. The apartment was very cozy and had everything I needed. Michigan is frigid right now, so I appreciated the continuous heat. The bed was comfy, the location was great and the kitchen was perfect for cooking quick meals when I wasn’t with family. Glory was a great host and responded immediately to my messages. This was a great find!

Excellent! Recommended.
Had a wonderful stay here for a week. I have family in the area and rather than staying with them, I stayed here. The place was a little difficult to find, but calling Glory, The host, set me straight quickly. The rooms were comfortable, spacious, and set up with everything I could need including food and drink. Overall a five star stay.
