The location is perfectly positioned for skiing, the staff were all friendly and polite and spoke fantastic English and the rooms were very comfortable.
There was no kettle in the room but this is a common thing in French hotels and access when arriving with ski gear wasn’t the best as lots of steps

I love this place! We came with my little daughter for the ski break and it was a joy to stay! super convenient with ski to door, well organized, clean and great food! What else can one ask for:) Thank you to the full staff and see you next year!

great and supporting reception
super location
comfortable rooms
Breakfast - poor offer, mising any vegetable, small choice of good cheese, missing salmon/fish, scrambled eggs with wather are not tasty.
Restaurant - personal was not always really friendly.

Excellent location on a green run. The hotel staff were extremely welcoming and friendly.
Despite turning the heater off in the room it was quite warm which meant for a restless sleep.

Ski In, Ski Out.
Our room with two full beds had two separate rooms rather than both beds in the same room like US hotels.
Good breakfast selection included with room
Lots and lots of stairs to walk down to shops and restaurants in the main part of Meribel Mottaret. Quite an uphill hike—100 or more stairs—to get back to hotel after dinner.
one negative of breakfast was the very runny soft scrambled eggs. I prefer medium or hard scrambled.

Great ski in ski out location
Nice room of reasonable size although we paid for a 3 person room for only 2
Beautiful views from the balcony
Excellent breakfast
The access to the property from the road was poorly signed & cleared. Both the steps and main driveway became very icy and dangerous , especially with heavy bags. There was much easier access thro a second driveway a little further up the hill, but there was no signage and we only found it as we were leaving!

Clean hotel, ski in ski out..
Lovely breakfast and evening meal.
Lovely little bar around the corner by the supermarket.
The pool and jacuzzi were a few degrees to cold to enjoy them.
The room was also cold, we had to ask for a heater as there did not appear to be any heating.
Furniture in the bedrooms a bit old fashioned and our shower did not work properly.
We asked for a new shower head as it was impossible to shower with a trickle of water.
We had to ask again 24hours later before the shower head was replaced which meant we couldn't really shower properly for 48 hours.
Would of like tea and coffee facilities in the room

location is great - ski in & out near the elevators. staff is friendly and warm and will help in any question.
- not good value for money - over priced
- basic facilities
- food quality ( breakfast/restaurant) is medium

All the staff in the hotel is really nice and one can feel they are working hard to please their customers. That made a huge difference during our stay. You really feel welcome in this hotel and we will definitely return.

We stayed here at Arolles in March 2022 so the fact that we returned is a compliment to the hotel. It's location is fabulous and the staff are wonderfully helpful.
There were a few shortcomings that I would not expect in a hotel of this standard when we stayed last year. That they are still unresolved does make some sort of statement. (1) There is no coffee/tea making facility, nor fridge in the room. (2) Tissues are not provided for guests. (3) There had evidently been an acrimonious falling out with the ski shop franchise before our last visit and a letter had been posted by the franchisee on the door. It's still there! The outlet is still closed! (4) There was an agreement with a local owner of garages for undercover parking at cost last year but that has now been lost. Guests are on their own to find roadside or central parking during their stays. (5) The half board option is good value for money although choice is very limited. Starting dinner before the current time of 7:15pm would in my opinion help avoid the scramble of guests to get it at the start and maybe allow staff to finish a little earlier as well.

Location is good, and the hot tub, pool and sauna are great.
rooms are pretty small for a family, it’s a hassle to carry the luggage to the hotel, they could have someone to help. The breakfast buffet is ok, could be better for the price.
Also, I sent a message a week earlier for the hotel to help me with restaurant reservations, and the answer was “we’ll call when you arrive at the hotel”. Then we we checked-in they told us that their restaurant was fully booked for dinner as well as all the other restaurants nearby.
4.3
it had good service and food
it was very small for cost and maxime was great but it was hard as no one told you what was where or how things worked as some spaces restaurants we couldnt use. we decided to move

location, rooms, food
Poor WiFi & tiny Gym with no air con
4.3
Excellent breakfast, nice large room with bathtub, pretty comfortable bed, ski in, ski out, sauna, swimming pool and jacuzi were great.
A little hard to reach and after a certain hour if you are in meriel center there might not be buses anymore so plan ahead.
Also if you are coming from lyon airport its best to rent a car because sometimes there is no bus from lyon to meribel and the only way to go to the airport is taxi which is super expensive (think about 400 eur) so be prepared.
4.3
Fantastic piste side location, friendly staff, excellent meals (half board :- breakfast and dinner), rooms cleaned every day, good hotel facilities including comfortable bar/lounge, sauna and swimming pool.
4.3
Not a lot went well other than several staff members bending over backwards to compensate for their colleagues and the accomodation. The manager was, eventually, very flexible with the price.
It was unclear when I booked that the hotel cannot be reached by car so all suitcases etc had to be carried up. The fantastic Wifi throughout the hotel was simply not there, very inconvenient if you have a couple of teenagers and business meetings scheduled. The rooms were very outdated (eg no plugs near the bed so no possibility to charge your phone near the bed), no possibilities to make coffee or tea in the room, cheap plastic toilet seats. Not a very flexible restaurant. We arrived late and missed the 21.00 deadline and could not order any food on the first night. One needs to make a reservation every day for dinner in the hotel. It was not possible to make reservations for lunch so you just had to be lucky....even as a guest of the hotel. All in all, not a good value for money.
4.3
excellent location, friendly staff
4.3
Breakfast was good, staff were very friendly, location was excellent, boot / ski room was great, view from bedroom was wonderful. Rooms are basic but plenty of hanging space and bed was comfortable and room was serviced nicely every day. If you’re skiing all day you don’t really spend too Much time in the room. Bathroom was small but cleaned well, and toilet was separate which was good.
Conditioner in the bathrooms would be helpful and a few extra towels as they are quite small.
4.3
Staff extremely helpful and nice
Good breakfast
However the hotel would benefit from a refresh, rooms are tiny for the price. Spa and swimming pool are really not great. Not good value for money
4.3
Lovely location, hotel spotlessly clean, meals especially breakfast really good, staff friendly and helpful would definitely return.
4.3
The food, both breakfast and the half-board evening meal option that we took, were excellent in all respects.
