About this house rental
Located on almost flat private lot with fenced in yard. All kitchen amenities. Near Wind Creek State Park (2 miles by water), 50 minutes from Montgomery 1 hour from Birmingham 45 minutes from Auburn,50 minutes from Talladega race track and 8 minutes from Alexander City. Super Walmart 8.5 miles. Boat ramp ( 1 block ),several great restaurants within about seven minutes.Why rent a condo when you can have your own private floating swim pier with beautiful clear deep water( great fishing or any water activities)you can see sunrise across lake or sit on the large screened in porch over looking the lake,while drinking coffee or while tending to the onsite grill. Looking for quiet,peaceful getaway vacation this is it. no smoking no pets inside.

Such a magical spot in a rustic cozy cabin.

We really enjoyed our stay at this little home. Mr. OC is very accommodating and even helped me launch my boat. We will definitely be visiting this location again soon.

This is a little gem! Right on the water. Easy to access and the owner is such a nice gentleman. It’s an older lake home with all the charm. Felt like we were staying with family. There is a dock where you can park a boat or swim. The community has its own boat ramp with easy access. Will def stay again. The back porch overlooks the lake and the home had everything we needed. Very clean and just a comfortable place to relax. Grocery and supplies just 10 mins away. Very little boat traffic and just beautiful view of sunrise and the lake.

this was the perfect for 4 class of 1978 men on the 'guys weekend." The quiet location is incredible. we enjoyed the porch and the floating dock. We took the short trip to the brewery in Opelika and drove through the auburn campus as well.

This was an ideal location for us. My son and husband spent the days at Monster Mountain MX and my daughter and I relaxed at the quiet lake. O.C. was easy to get ahold of and was courteous.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The mornings were very enjoyable, sitting on the screened in deck, sipping coffee, and relaxing while watching a gray heron making his daily rounds around the lake. We were close enough to various hiking trails and took our inflatable kayak on the lake, which was right out the back door. Can recommend this VRBO!

We liked the house. It was small but about whatvwe expected. Its in a nice neighborhood with well manicured lawns. The property itself is exceptional clean and well careed for. Our only complaint which is sort of minor is the steps into the lake are a little hard to navigate and we would have liked to have had a ladder to get up onto the dock. The owner came down and introduced himself and was very nice. I mentioned thatcwe wished there was a ladder and he took it into consideration. We'd have no problem staying there again if the occasion arises.

Great last minute visit to Lake Martin with my family. The location was wonderful! The house is outdated, but comfortable. The owner responded to most questions, but not all. I think the paddle boat should have been included in the price of the rental home. Also, a military discount would have been amazing. Otherwise, overall nice trip!

We very much enjoyed our stay at this home on Lake Martin. We have been coming to Lake Martin for decades, and this home had all the things we were looking for. We loved the wood paneling and beautiful views of the lake, as well as the porch. The bed was comfortable and everything was well kept and clean. Our host was very gracious and easy to reach. We hope to return!

Even though cottage was outdated, we had everything needed for a comfortable, relaxing time.
Toilet may be in need of a new flush/fill valve, since it would continue running and we would need to jiggle the flush handle after using bathroom.

We usually stay at the Quite Getaway when we visit Lake Martin , it’s close to our Boat Storage and the Public boat launch at Wind Creek . It is a very quite neighborhood with out a lot of boat traffic and a view of the lake even when sitting inside… thanks for the stay

First visit to this property, have vacationed on a different section of Lake Martin past 3 years. Loved this location and house. Owners have anticipated the needs of renters quite well. The floating dock was a big appeal and lighter boat traffic was a real plus also. Nearness to Wind Creek State Park was an added benefit. Will definitely plan another visit to this location as time permits.

I had a wonderful time relaxing on the lake this weekend. Fishing in the afternoons, coffee overlooking the lake in the mornings, and beautiful runs through the neighborhood. The house is stocked with anything you could need for a comfortable stay. The owner came by to to say hi, and was the kindest man - fun to chat with. I would love to return someday.
