Lovely view of the mountains and lovely home

Was a great landing spot in the middle of the places we were going to explore, Capitol Reef, Torrey for food, Boulder Mtn, Thousand Lake Mountain and Fish Lake area. Plus Loa has a good super market for supplies. The kitchen makes it nice to cook your own meals which can save a lot of money to not eat out until you want to.

We had a wonderful stay. This little cottage was perfect for us. The full-over-full bunk bed with trundle bed worked great, and the pull-out sofa was reported to be very comfortable when sleeping with their heads away from the kitchen area. The water heater was sufficient for three good showers before needing to reheat. We enjoyed the outdoor space, and the view at sunset was unbeatable. Danielle was very kind and helpful in her messages. We would definitely come back!

We stayed here to visit Capitol Reef Np. The cottage had everything we needed and was clean with comfortable beds. Loved the views and was nice watching the snow storm come thru during our visit. Host was very responsive and helpful

Beautiful place in middle of nowhere. Peace and quiet around. You can sleep well

This house was perfect for our needs. I stayed with my kids during a trip to Capitol Reef National Park. My older two stayed in the bunks and I stayed with my little one in the other room. The couch can also convert to a bed although I didn’t use it. It has a small but functional kitchen, full bath, and the living room was plenty big for all four of us to chill and watch TV in the evening. Highly recommend if you’re staying in the area.

This was perfect for our needs. Well, it was probably larger than we needed for two people + dog, but cozy and comfortable.
The house was clean and the kitchen was supplied with well-maintained pots and pans which allowed us to cook our own food. Exactly what we wanted.
And, as others have mentioned, we were visited by the pups. The heeler won our hearts - a very good boy.

Cute, cozy, comfortable, and quiet. Our large group found it a good spot to hunker down for the night before heading to Capitol Reef for a day of hiking:-)

Great, cute little house to come back to after a day exploring the area. Only about 20mins from the Captiol Reef Visitor's Center. Also in driving distance of the other 4 national parks, although it would be a long day. We even drove to Valley of the Gods and Natural Bridges National Monument in 1 day. There was also an atv trailhead down the road which we didn't explore but seemed like a nice bonus if you have atvs!
The kitchen was well stocked and the beds were comfortable. I brought work equipment with me and the wi-fi was great.
The owners live next door but leave you to your privacy, except their cute white dog. He is the welcome wagon and will check in with you daily to make sure you are enjoying your stay and loves to be petted.
If you stay for an extended period there is a place in Torrey, the Chuckwagon, that has public laundry. They are open seasonally though, so best to check beforehand if you'll need that. Otherwise we took a beautiful drive down to Escalante to do laundry there.
The whole are is gorgeous with scenery, really a beautiful place to visit!

Very clean and central to the god grocery store and Capitol Reef!

Cute little place. We loved that it was close to Torrey and Capitol Reef but a little out of the way and secluded and quiet. We enjoyed nightly visits from Tripod and Spuds (2 nice neighbor dogs. Our name for them, not likely right). They sat out on the porch for awhile each night guarding the place for us. It was clean and had everything we needed for a 4 night stay.

Place was neat and clean. There are a couple of dogs that hang out at the house.

We loved our stay here, which was so peaceful. A quick, and pretty drive to Capitol Reef. There were two very nice dogs that came to visit but they don't try to go inside; our kids liked petting them. The surrounding scenery is beautiful. We had a great stay.

This was a perfect house for my family of 6 to come rest after exploring Capitol Reef & Escalante! Very clean & peaceful. The only downside was that we didn't bring our fly rods. The house is right next to a stream with some great fly fishing, I wish I would have known.

The location is great if you like quiet and peaceful, which we love. The house was fine for the two of us, any more and it would be tight. For us it was a great place to stay while we explored Capitol Reef for three days. One note , the directions we were provided did not seem accurate, but Google Maps got us there fine.

We loved the view and the front street was not busy but the home was very basic, nothing fancy at all.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the Torrey area. Danielle was a perfect host. The house is simple but efficient. The main bedroom very comfortable. The bunk beds were perfect for kids or teens. Wi-Fi was good and strong, TV large, sofa comfy. The kitchen is open but a little snug for two people. We spent every day exploring Capitol Reef, some of the most stunning landscapes on earth. The house comes complete with 3 dogs. They live next door but are sweeties, and come by every day for some love. And don’t mind the big dog - she nips to say hello but is totally friendly. If I were to make any improvements to this location it would be a couple of table lamps and night lights. Otherwise- perfect

This house was a perfect spot near Capitol Reef to stay at as we explored the area. Clean, well kept, and convenient!

The house was clean and comfortable. We arrived in the evening and it’s very dark there. There were no outside lights on on the house so made it a bit difficult to find. Very quiet at night.

This was a great rental for a couple of days exploring Capitol Reef National Park. The small house was in the middle of fields, less than 10 minutes from Torrey, UT. It was cozy, quiet, and clean. Just what I needed. The small kitchen was well equipped though don't expect to make gourmet meals there as the kitchen is rather small. The views from the porch were great and milky way was visible at night. I highly recommend this house and will definitely try to stay there again on another trip through the area.
Thanks.

My sister and I stayed here one night. The place was clean, pretty and had everything you might need. The views were stunning.

Cabin was a little tight for 4 adults, i.e., table only seats 2 people comfortably. Great views of sunset and stargazing. Couple of cute dogs greeted us.

It was a nice quiet home with lots of waterfowl across the road. It was a nice get away after a long day of hiking.

What a charming place! Perfect distance from Capitol Reef, easy to find, serene country atmosphere, comfy beds, hot shower. What more could a traveler ask for? 6 people could fit comfortably. Our host was accomodating, and most pleasant. We will stay here again!

When we drove up to the house we were greeted by a very friendly dog and kitty! It immediately made us feel like we were at home! Enjoyed sitting on the porch while reading and taking in the views! Loved watching a storm form and then watching the rain come down! Very peaceful and relaxing.
