Disappointing. I wouldn’t recommend the property to a friend.

The property accommodated two couples, with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and was convenient to access Wellington. The living room was comfy.

The kitchen facilities were very basic. The kitchen should have been upgraded with the balance of the property. The washing machine was located on the outside of the property, not internally. This wasn’t practical. The pillows and bed linen in the main bedroom were very musty and overpowering. The mattress in the second bedroom sagged to the middle. Pillows need replacing. Bed linen needs to be replaced. The area at the bottom of the stairs needs to tidied.

Good location, clean and tidy. However dated and unsafe for young families.

Excellent location. Property was clean and tidy. It has 2 bathrooms. Open lounge area and large bedrooms.

The stairs leading to the front door were unsafe and very steep, especially for young children and the elderly. The kitchen was not functional. The kitchen had no electricity on arrival and for the next day. The RCD unit was tripping out. The oven and cook top we’re not suitable for family cooking because it was a small portable unit and therefore we did not use it. An extension cord was positioned on the bench top next to the sink/water, which is unsafe. It was used to provide a PowerPoint for the TV. The beds were very old and uncomfortable. The mattress in the master bedroom was particularly old, the springs had passed their used by date many years ago. We did not sleep very well at all!! There were exposed wires coming out of the floor behind the bedroom doors. The decor was dated. The drive way leading up to the property was incredibly steep and parking our SUV car took abit of skill and patience. No prior warning was given about this. So it took us by surprise. We also did not like how the hosts could access the apartment through a door internally… this made us feel uncomfortable.

We had a wonderful stay. The house had plenty of room for the 5 of us.

The shower had great pressure with plenty of hot water. The beds were comfortable with extra blankets if needed.

Not every room had a heater incase it was cold.

Great comfy home just out of the city, great for families

Excellent bath, great carpet, just homey and nice. Very close to public transport, reasonably priced, and the host left us a snapper card with some money on it to make the transition into the system nice and easy.

Nothing really. The surrounding roads had no footpath, which made it hard to go for a run. Thats like literally the only thing. Well, I spose its a grunt up the driveway, but it's worth it for the view.

Not enough cooking appliances. One stove element did not work. Dirty washing machine that only worked on a cold wash. Difficult parking barely adequate space for a big car.

Loved the view, lots of space, super tidy, everything we needed for a short stay

The bedrooms were awesome but beds a tad uncomfy. However, we only stayed 3 nights so it was fine.

Good sized and clean property. Very helpful hosts, including loaded Snapper cards. Really appreciated those. Reasonable location for access to town. On the whole, very happy. Thank you.

Bed in the main bedroom was very, very bouncy. No veg peeler. No decent kitchen knives. Would have been good to have blackout blinds in the kids room (but I appreciate this is a nice to have). I suspect that the ill fitting curtains in the lounge room and lack of them completely on the front window in winter might be an issue (but obviously this wasn't an issue during our stay)

We had great communication beforehand that advised us about access and the steep location.

There was lots of utensils and small thoughts/ gestures that made our stay easier. They helped us access the Public transport system and wash clothes and dry them.

location is very near Wellington ferry terminal if you need to catch the Interislander ferry to Picton. host are extremely friendly and helpful apartment is very spacious

washer is outside the house in garden. difficult to access in wet weather no hair dryer will be great if there is a laundry tumble dryer great if can place some tissue paper and kitchen towel

Driveway is very steep. The three of us are fit, active mature adults but it would deter some people,

Pleasant with a great view.

Enjoyed the location and the place had enough room for the 5 of us, without feeling we were steping on each other.

It was quite noisy in the morning from the owners who live above so sleeping in wasn't really an option. We also ran out of hot water for our showers. Probably a better place for 2 or 3 guests instead of 5.

Owner very helpful when making booking, beautiful home with easy access to supermarket, City.

Handy location to City, nice and quiet location.

For four adults trying to cook took a while as did not full stove facilities just a cook top, bed in ensuite room not very comfy at all very soft base. Other two bedrooms were very cold at night so had to leave heater on in lounge to keep house warm.

Wellington getaway

Spacious unit with enough beds for 6. Friendly hosts, and washer for use. Two bathrooms with sizable showers. Water was hot. The patio area was large and could be used if not pouring rain.

A dryer would have been very useful as we struggled to get clothes dry. Bedrooms were quite cold unless heater in lounge on all day. Drive way super steep - this was in the listing but we were still surprised just how steep it was, once the car was in position, we did not move it until we had to leave (used ubers). The stove stop didn't heat well, but the supplied portable induction cooker did the job.
