We did enjoy our time. Loved the wrapped around porch. Would have liked to have a tv in each room but did great without. The bed was so comfortable. The drive way needs to be regraded very rough.

We loved our stay. The cabin was beautiful- even prettier than we were expecting! GPS led us past the driveway, so be ready to turn in the driveway before "you have arrived"- it is gravel driveway with large rutts, which makes for an exciting drive up the hill- but it is worth it at the top and if our minivan can make it, your vehicle should too! We loved that each bedroom had it's own bathroom (loft doesn't have a shower, so that needed to be shared with downstairs, which was fine), and the playground and game room were a hit! The basketball game was broken, but you could still use it unpowered, and all of the other games worked and were a blast! Homeowners were responsive when game room was locked and the fireplace wasn't working- both were fixed the next morning. Kitchen was well stocked, grill had propane and an extras full tank just in case. The hot tub was clean and hot with a nice step stool up to it, and the best part was how private the home was with the trees surrounding and being offset from the road. The neighbors on the same driveway had two dogs that ran into the driveway and (up to the house on one occasion), so keep an eye out not to run them over when coming and going! It was a short 20 min drive into Pigeon Forge and about 40-50 mins to Gatlinburg depending on traffic. Couldn't have been happier with the cabin- thanks for a great stay!

The cabin is great for all ages. We had ages ranging from adults to a 1 year old, and the cabin was perfect for all. Communication was great with the owners when we needed their quick response.

Overall this was a very nice property. The owners did a great job of communicating with us.
I will say that we had an issue with the water. It smelled like straight sulfur when we arrived. However, the owners did respond quickly and had the problem fixed the next day.

The house was gorgeous! The driveway wasn’t as bad as the reviews made it sound. There was only one bicycle, not 3. The grill was disgusting and both propane tanks were empty. We arrived about 4:15 and the cleaning crew hadn’t been there yet. The house wasn’t ready til about 6:00.

We chose this cabin because we thought it would be close to a dock to fish off of. Not the case. The kids would need to go 0.6 miles down the road for that. We traded a scenic view for fishing and outdoor space. The play set is pretty shaky. The road up was not that bad compared to other reviews. Just be prepared for about 25 feet of bigger divets.
The cabin was adequate. All the beds are very firm. One bathroom has a toilet that won’t stop running Large cobwebs running from various places on the ceiling. The surfaces we touched were clean. There were extra towels in the upstairs bathroom.
The gameroom was fun. The kids spent considerable time out there. The shuffleboard needs more sand. The gameroom could benefit from places to sit.
It takes about 45 min to get into the start of the National Park. Overall a pretty standard cabin minus the views and fairly far out from activities. Peaceful except for the local rooster that crows around the clock.

This spacious cabin and guest house was perfect for the age ranges of kids we had with us! It had something for all of us! Definitely would stay again!

I was in continuous communication with the owner(s), leading up to and at the time of our check in. They were always responsive and honest throughout. All of the responses by the owner left in the reviews prior to our arrival were addressed and we experienced no issues at all. It was perfect for our group of ten (7 kids from 12 to 5). They loved the game room and area surrounding the house. We went to Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, and to Knoxville for a football game; all were easy to get to (30-40 minutes to PF and Gatlinburg, 1 hr to Knoxville). Would go back again, thank you for everything.

We were overall disappointed with our stay. The positive - location! You really are secluded on this property and there is a lot of room to roam outside of the cabin on the property. The wrap around porch is great, we ate most of our meals outside - we never used the hot tub so can't comment on that. The upkeep and cleanliness of the property could use some improvement, I think the owner means well but there were a lot of issues during our 7 night stay. We were notified the day of check-in that the dryer was broken, a huge disappointment as we packed light assuming we'd be able to do laundry. The reason this wasn't fixed according to the owner was because a new one couldn't be delivered up the driveway - so heed prior reviews the driveway here is awful, bumpy, steep and gravel. Upon check-in we discovered the sheets were stained, no spare sheets in the cabin and no way to wash them. The blinds on the main door were broken and no way to close them, which was a bit unsettling at night as the door is all glass window. We found uneaten food from prior guests in the fridge and pantry, the kitchen drawers were full of food crumbs, cobwebs everywhere inside and out, the dresser drawers in one of the main bedrooms were broken. We found many items from prior guests; shoes, toys, socks etc. The grill was absolutely disgusting and the propane tank was empty so we did not use that as we didn't want to have to clean a mess from previous renters. Game room is not air conditioned and it was too warm when we were there - but inside the basketball game had wires cut and there was no sand for the shuffleboard table rendering that unusable as well. We also discovered one of the backs of the bar stools in the kitchen was completely broken when our toddler sat on it (owner did deliver new barstools during our stay). The kitchen did have a new coffee maker and pots and pans, make sure you bring your own dishwashing detergent. There was also only one towel and dish rag for the kitchen. The last night of our stay the air conditioner in the extra cabin space started spewing water inside the cabin. We were thankful it was our last night because I'm assuming the air conditioner broke. (The air conditioner in the main cabin worked great!).
Overall the location was great, private and we were a short drive from everything we wanted to do. I understand that a place won't be spotless but it felt a lot of cleaning and maintenance was overlooked for our stay.

The best getaway
This cabin has everything you need and is tucked away in the woods so very well. The guest cabin was the perfect accommodation for our family as some of us had to work while on vacation, so it gave us some privacy when needed. The game room was an absolute WIN for all the kids we had (5 kids total) and keep them occupied while we cooked dinner. Owner was very responsive for any questions or concerns I had.

Fantastic Family Fun!!
We loved it!! A family reunion of sorts, some of us hadn't seen each other in 6 years and it was the first time I was able to meet my newest granddaughter, now 2 years old, in person!! We all had a wonderful time. The kids enjoyed the playground equipment and we all enjoyed the fire pit. The hot tub was also a nice way to unwind after a busy day. The area is beautiful and peaceful, you do feel secluded, the surrounding woods make you feel like no one else is living nearby. The pool is less than 5 minutes away. The dock is near the pool, it had
been recently improved and was great for docking the pontoon boat my son rented for a day. The marinas are only a 25 to 35 minute drive by land, less on water. The lake is gorgeous, lots of little cove areas and several little islands to stop and swim. There were lots of fish, no luck fishing, but the girls enjoyed trying. The other activities we chose to do were within 35-45 minutes of the cabin. We just happened to be there on the hottest day that they have had in 10 years, so a trip to the aquarium was a good way to get out of the heat. The A/C in the cabin works great!! They supplied plenty of nice big bath towels. The cabin is wheelchair accessible, but the guest house is not. My mom and daughter stayed in the guest house at night, it's nicely furnished and very comfortable. There are a lot of steps though, and still my 82 year old mother climbed them at least twice a day! The driveway and parking area requires some strategic maneuvering if you have more than 2 vehicles, especially if they are full sized trucks, which we had 3 and one electric car. The hook up/charging station for the car wasn't what my daughter was expecting, but she made it work. The owners did say that they usually charge $15+ a day for charging a car, but since we replaced the empty propane for the gas grill, they'd call it even. It was too hot to use the game room, there were no fans or ventilation. No bikes. The property manager was extremely kind and helpful. She responded quickly when we reached out with questions or concerns. The bear proof trash bin is definitely heavy duty, but doesn't hold a lot if you have a lot of people. We had to call 3 days before our departure because it was full and within a couple of hours they were there to empty it. I highly recommend this cabin for a family getaway. We made the most of every minute we had there, the kids had a blast, and we made amazing memories that will last forever!!

Much left to be desired.
I hate writing anything less than stellar reviews. I write this in hopes that the owners understand a few small changes can make a huge difference for their customers. Onto the review. Sadly, this is the worst property I’ve ever rented. The driveway is a nightmare, even with a 4X4 truck. The room closets in the main cabin were locked. Smoke detectors were hanging by the wires. The dryer door handle required a butter knife to open. The whole washing closet reeked of mildew. There were spiderwebs everywhere. We had to purchase hand soap dispensers for our stay, as there were none in the bathrooms. No laundry basket. Only 3 hangers. No iron or board that I could find. Very few garbage bags available. I had to descale the coffee maker and clean out what seemed to be months worth of old rotten coffee grounds. The filters provided do not fit the make/model of coffee maker. No Keurig either. The pots and pans were scratched beyond acceptable use. The utensils, and etc. all not up to snuff. Many light bulbs blown out. No access to the garage, or the supposed bicycles. Separate living space above garage only has half bath, with no shower or tub. Any guests staying there need to use the en-suite bathrooms in the main cabin to bathe. No firewood provided or mentioned where to purchase. We purchased some at the local Food City about 15 minutes away. I don’t know the owners or the story of this property, but I feel quite misled by the marketing. To say this is a luxury cabin is inaccurate. It has the potential! Some attention to detail would have made all the difference in our stay. I would suggest the owners make a better attempt at preparing the property for guests before renting it out again. Further, being more communicative would be nice as well. I asked several questions and either got no response, or waited a day before receiving an answer. I’m sure changes will be made over time, but as a potential renter reading this review, I suggest contacting the owners and asking about some of the items mentioned before deciding to book a stay at this property.

Family vacation
The cabin was stocked with everything we need for our entire stay. The scenery was beautiful. We saw quite a few deer in the back yard. My boys loved the game room after a long day out and about. Few issues with the hot tub but they were still able to enjoy it for a little while and the owner addressed the issue right away. Overall a great stay and we will book again in the future. Nice location as well.

Beautiful location
We all truly loved this property - from the moment you step into the house, you notice the attention to details and the cleanliness of the place. We enjoyed all the amenities - from the NInja blender to the games in the game room. The outdoor areas are numerous and it was nice to be able to choose where you want to be - you can make s'mores at the fire pit, or sit in the rocking chairs on the porch and read a book, have dinner in the gazebo, or lounge in the hot tub after an exhausting day of hiking. We were a little taken aback when we pulled up to the home and realized that we were not in a gated community - I had to reread the description to realize the pool and lake access where not exactly near the property. We did run out of gas for the grill - when I asked the owners, they thought an extra one was on the property, but we couldn't find it and just bought a refill the next day. All in all, I would definitely recommend this property for any large group looking for a quiet place to call 'home base' while on vacation.

Absolutely Perfect!!!
The property is stunning and very well kept. All ages had something to do and you didn't have to even leave the cabin to enjoy your Vacation.

Beautiful
Everything was great! The only reason it wasn’t 5 stars was the bicycles had something wrong with each of them. Other than that it’s a beautiful cabin and secluded enough to feel alone but close enough to be safe. Outside is gorgeous. Loved it and recommend a stay!

Family Vacation
Over all not a bad place to stay. Quite country setting. Location isn't to far off the main attractions. Only bad thing the driveway doesn't work for a low ground clearance sports car.

Perfect place for family getaway
Perfect set up for family with a lot of kids. Also perfect for the adults. Hot tub, grill, game room and pool kept everyone entertained. Also very pleased with the quality of the cooking ware in the kitchen. The porch is also blocked off so it’s nice to have the pups outside all day too. Bring bug spray!
