From the moment our ride dropped us off in front of Valletta 19 Apartments we were happily greeted by hosts Patrick and Diane which made us feel so welcomed. They carefully explained everything necessary for our stay as well as demonstrating how the entry system and elevator works. Next came our tour of the fabulous apartment which was beautifully decorated and quite honestly it was even much nicer than the on line photos. The icing on the cake was the roof top terrace which overlooks the city of Valletta as well as the stunning harbour. As you can probably tell from my rave review that hubby and I loved staying here especially being in the heart of the city which was also one of the quieter streets in Valletta. We will definitely be booking it again next time we come to Malta. Thank you Patrick and Diane.

Stayed for four nights. As owner and host Patrick is enthusiastic in his management of the apartment and meets you on arrival explaining all features. Guide books and helpful local hints etc are provided. He is available for any questions as he aims to ensure you make the most of his hometown Valetta. Brillant Location - central yet very quiet. He owns the three apartments in the block so the residence is spotlessly maintained. The rooftop terrace is beautiful for coffee or we took our dinner upstairs one night. I would highly recommend a stay here.

Everything and more than we expected.

We have traveled the world and Patrick and Diane rank as the top hosts! The place was phenomenal. Clean and well stocked. In Addition, it was centrally located to everything!! Patrick and Diane have gone above and beyond to make sure they greet you upon arrival and departure, and check in to make sure you have everything you need. The balcony with the glorious views were breath taking. We hope to be back to Malta and will definitely stay here again! We told everyone we met, they need to stay here as well. Don’t wait! Book this place!!!!

Patrick greeted us upon our arrival. Did a wonderful introduction to the apartment and area. Could not get a better location. The welcome food package was a beautiful surprise. Patrick checked in on us daily, and we felt like family at the end of the week. Love the rooftop deck. Just wish the weather was warmer and less windy . Would recommend this apartment to any visitors to Valetta.

Fantastically well equipped flat with beautiful decor. Any review of the rooftop terrace will not do it justice - it was our favourite part. Patrick was a warm and welcoming host and the location couldn't be better!

Property manager was helpful and the apartment was perfect. Very enjoyable and highly recommended! The location is central and amazing restaurants are just steps away. The rooms are well organized, clean and comfortable and I can’t say enough about the view from the terrace. Amazing.

Very nice & clean apartment for about the same price as a hotel room. Everything very clean & in good condition. We slept very well - no problems with noise. The roof terrace is wonderful. Patrick was very helpful at check in, giving us lots of advice. My favourite place to visit was Casa Rocca Piccola; the Cathedral and the War Museum are also very highly recommended; between them you get a good introduction to Malta's history Patrick arranged a taxi for us from the airport; going back we decided to use ecabs, which was a little cheaper (€15.90 instead of €25) but ecabs took longer to get to us in Valletta as the driver took a wrong turn, so possibly a false economy

Excellent from arrival to departure. Patrick who is the owner and manager was amazing. He had taxi driver waiting for us at the airport, and the he had the same taxi driver at our disposal for any further needs including the return to the airport at 4:30 a.m. Patrick was accessible at any time, the property is at the belly button of Valletta and it is just fantastic. It is a walking dastan to everything, the roof top view its breath taking…. At the bottom of the property is a family own bakery exciting for three generations. Great for breakfast or if you want to pick sandwich or a drink. Highly recommend the place…

Patrick was the perfect host, booking was straightforward and he was there to greet us in the evening after our late flight. He took plenty of time to show us around and made sure we knew how to work everything then we all went up to the roof terraces! Wow what a view, day or evening! This must be the prettiest roof terrace in all of Valletta and so comfortable with open views or shady spots it has everything (worth ten stars). He had also left a starter pack of food and wine that was very much appreciated. The apartment was spotless and very comfortable and best of all the location is central to everywhere. We have been to Valletta many times but the location of this apartment was the best yet. Wine bars and restaurants abound and the Upper Barrakka gardens are literally around the corner. We will definitely be back.

We have rented apartments on past vacations. Our experience with Patrick was, by far, the best we have had. He was very helpful. He warmly greeted us late in the evening when our flight arrived. The transportation he arranged for us from the airport was punctual including picking us up at 3:30 am to take us back to the airport. The apartment was very central to everything including the bus station (which we extensively used). Great restaurants and bars just down the street. Also, rooftop terrace was amazing - great way to unwind with a drink after a day of exploring. Thanks for making our stay very special Patrick

I enjoyed a 10 day stay at this immaculate apartment. The central location is perfect for exploring all the sights of Valletta and enjoying safe nightly strolls to local cafes and restaurants. Proximity to the central bus station also makes it easy to explore the rest of the island. The apartment was comfortable and well equipped and the bonus a well furnished rooftop terrace with wonderful views. Patrick was attentive and welcoming and all plans for access etc worked seamlessly. He really wants his guests to enjoy Malta and this comes across very strongly - well done ! I hope to be back next year.

Arrival reception superb. Owner knowledgeable. Appartments good, clean though somewhat Spartan. Kitchen 7/10. Top balcony awesome. Most time spent there...good place to meet and interact with other guests.

Perfect location in beautiful Valletta! The hosts, Patrick + Diane, are warm, welcoming , friendly and so helpful, with recommendations, tips etc. They genuinely want their guests to have the best time! 6 days was not enough, there is so much to see and do ! We WILL return, and would not consider staying anywhere but here! The apartment is clean, comfortable, spacious, and very well equipped. P + D have thought of everything! The roof garden is an added bonus, a real oasis, flowers, several different seating areas, BBQ, & a great view over the harbour. We would definitely recommend it to friends/ family planning a visit. Perfect location for exploring Valletta and only a short walk from the bus station to see the rest of the island. The apartment is well furnished and has all the amenities for a comfortable stay. Excellent views from the roof terrace. Patrick was very helpful in answering questions leading up to the holiday and his property manager ,Daniel, was ecellent when we arrived. We would definitly use the apartment again if we return to Malta.

We had 4 wonderful nights at Valletta Apartments 19. Right from the first contact through to check-out, Patrick was an incredible host. He leaves no stone unturned and has anticipated every guest's needs with a well-equipped modern comfortable apartment in the heart of Valletta. As a group of 4 adults, we needed to use both beds in the second smaller bedroom. While it was certainly a squeeze, there is ample cupboard space (and hangers!!!) to store your belongings and then we just kept our luggage tucked away in the living room. The smaller bedroom did not detract at all from our stay. Any review must include mention of the fabulous roof terrace that is shared with the other two apartments in the block (also owned by Patrick). It was truly our outdoor living room that was perfect for sunrise yoga, an afternoon siesta on the long chairs, a sundowner on the top terrace, or a night cap at the dining table (or all of the above...!!) Thank you Patrick for being far and away the most professional and reliable person who we dealt with for our 2 weeks in Malta. Keep up the great work and hope to see you again in the future!

The location of the apartment was ideal for exploring Valletta on foot and the rest of Malta by bus. We had everything we needed in the apartment and particularly enjoyed breakfasting on the roof terrace. Patrick was a great hos and the welcome pack was great. Thank you

I studied a lot of other places in Valetta on the various rental sites, and Patrick's apartments offered the best value, by far: 1. Great Location 2. Sea View Terrace 3. Elevator 4. Ample Space 5. Good Wifi 6. Great Price Have you ever wished you could stay in the best part of a capital city, but still have a sea view? Well, there we were, staying in beautiful Valletta, just 1&1/2 blocks away from the sunny, hilltop piazzas with the Prime Minister's office, the Malta Stock Exchange, the Kavalier Arts Center, and near the Upper Barakka Gardens. But wait, there's more...quite a bit more in fact. On the big rooftop terrace we were also able to enjoy beautiful views of the harbor, past the lighthouses, out to the Mediterranean, with its many types of vessels coming and going - traditional Maltese dghajsas rowing back and forth to the 3 cities across the bay, small sail boats, yachts, all the way up to cruise ships steaming through the harbor entry. We had the unique opportunity to stay in 2 of Patrick's 3 lovely apartments - #1 and #3. The European floor system means that #3 was on the 4th floor, BUT, no worries here, Patrick just had an elevator installed in early 2017. This was a big relief, since we don't travel light! As for indoors, the apartments are bigger than any European hotel rooms we've ever stayed in, with a modern kitchen - fridge, freezer, stove/oven, sink, and kitchen table; a living room, with a comfy couch, which pulls out if needed, a master BR, and an extra smaller BR with a single bed. The BR's are on 1 end, followed by the entry way, living room, hallway, kitchen, and full bathroom with shower. Wifi & TV - I was able to work efficiently via the internet in both apartments. Though we ate most meals out, we were able to enjoy meals here too- cheeses, fresh breads, sausages, olives, and wines from Wembley's shop, and a greengrocer's, (huge strawberries), a few blocks away. The 2 apartments' layout is the same - I think they're around 100 sq. mtrs. They differ in artwork/decor - #1 has more of an Asian feel, with artwork depicting Buddha, traditional Maltese tiles. #3: tan tiles, modern art, floral; attractive natural wood doors, cabinetry, and bed frame.

Patrick`s apartment is first rate in all respects, spotlessly clean and fully equipped with everything that you need to enhance your stay in Valletta, even white bathrobes, home from home. The building full of character also has on the roof an area where you can relax in three difference seating aspects, eat your meals, in a most agreeable climate, or cook on the barbecue. The view takes in the Grand Harbour. Next door is a bakery/cafe used by the locals and tourist alike that serves cooked breakfast if required or sample the local pastries over a coffee or cup of tea . Location, location, and yes the Valletta bus station via Republic Street, with air conditioned buses and services to all over the isle is only 6 minutes walk away. At the top of Triq San Pawl (St Pauls Street) turn left to the spectacular views from Upper Barrakka Gardens and the noon day gun. The lift takes you down to the water front and ferry across to Birgu another must visit. Shops and restaurants, museums abound in Valletta and you are spoilt for choice, your apartment location gives you the opportunity to explore the unique and charismatic city that is Valletta. My fourth time in Malta, but this year with my adult daughter who is the history buff. This review would not be complete without reference to our host Patrick, having been greeted outside the apartment; we were then given a comprehensive tour of all the facilities, along with his contact details. Patrick can be justly proud of his apartment and the city of Valletta. He has a passion to ensure his clients have the best experience possible at all times. Having found this gem of an apartment plus our dedicated host Patrick, there is little chance of booking another apartment on our next visit. The high marking of this apartment is without doubt truly justified.

Patrick has thought of everything from white bathrobes to rooftop barbecues. He has created a thoughtful environment, based on personal experience with sensitivity to customer’s needs. His knowledge of Malta mixes with genuine Maltese hospitality. Apartment #2 is located on the first floor walk-up; #3 and #4 continue up the winding elegant stairway, each on their own floor. The hallway is decorated with old photos, a glimpse into the past. Apt #2 leans towards Asian. All necessary appliances are provided including a washing machine. The main bedroom has air-con, the smaller bedroom a fan, as does the living room. The location is superb, a brief walk to the bus station which access all of Malta, including the airport. As is typical for restored Maltese buildings, windows and balconies face the street, with interior light cast from a central open space, indirect light. We thank Patrick for his dedication to Maltese hospitality and history.
