About this apartment rental
Beautifully reconstructed Apartment in a 16th century building. Apartment is just a wonderful few minutes walk to some of the most interesting sites in Prague, including, the Castle and The Charles Bridge. Cobble stone, gaslight, winding streets will charm you. Apartment is entered either through hall door, 600 year-old spiral sand stone steps, or a private lift.
Deep-set windows, thick walls contribute to the ancient romance of this flat in the most prestigious area of Prague, Mala Strana.
The views from the bedroom and the living room are breathtaking as this building sits on the river both the bedrooms are tranquil and quiet. The building is completely reconstructed and this Renaissance Apartments offers a modern bath and kitchen with all modern conveniences.
Activities: Prague has everything for the perfect city break. Prague abounds in Theatre, clubs, casinos, opera, ballet, concerts & discos. There is something here for everyone. Having been spared damage in WWII and then occupied by the Communists for 40 years (who did absolutely nothing), Prague remains that untouched jewel from the past. With the largest historic centre in Europe, Prague invites you to walk down one cobbled street after another. The history and architecture will fascinate you.
The living room is extremely large and spacious and is decorated with a combination of restored antique and vintage furnishings. Thought care and originality in the décor, serve to create an atmosphere of class and elegance which we believe, will help make this property one of the most popular apartment we rent in Prague.
The views from the bedroom and the living room are breathtaking as this building sits on the Vltava river both the bedrooms are tranquil and quiet. The building is completely reconstructed and this Renaissance Apartments offers a modern bath and kitchen with all modern conveniences. The building is located on a very quiet street close to shopping, transportation and the finest restaurants in Prague’s most prestigious area, Mala Strana.

Return visit to this well located flat. Spacious and comfortable in a lovely, vibrant historical area but with quiet bedrooms.

We spent 3 days in Prague earlier this month & when I was getting ready to book, the photos of the apartment definitely was the deciding factor, but honestly the photos don't do full justice to the wonderful apartment nor does it fully convey how close the Charles River actually is to the apartment . The only nit would be that the view of the bridge and river is somewhat a bit more obscured by trees and possibly a new construction , but that is a very small nit..:-)
Although we did not meet the property owners, they were immediately engaged as soon as we booked and remained so right till we checked out. They were both extremely helpful in every aspect from getting there (our options kept changing) to station transfers to the actual check in. All the detailed photos helped to a great extent
The apartment is wonderful . It is large and tasteful and well appointed. We did not use the kitchen much, but it was quite well appointed and ready to use. The washer/dryer was a great boon
The Charles River/Bridge and the old town attractions literally start a block away from the apartment, no exaggeration. That alone should be a selling point for the place.
The apartment is a couple of flights up with a very tiny elevator that goes right inside the apartment & can fit two medium sized people or one person and a bag. We did not attempt to use the lift, however if you have large/heavy bags , this may prove to be useful. Please work out the details with the owners.

We enjoyed our stay in this lovely flat near the Charles Bridge, which was spacious and comfortable. The area is extremely busy with tourists but quieted down at night. Check-in was a bit confusing as the property managers insisted on trying to connect with us via WhatsApp and repeatedly failed (we've never had a problem connecting with anyone else on WhatsApp before) and while we were in transit going in and out of wifi, this back-and-forth was stressful. Once successfully connected, things went relatively smoothly. If wifi is important to your group, know that the connectivity in the flat does not extend into the bedrooms - it does work fine in the living room, kitchen, and one bathroom. We stayed during a heat wave and host were responsive in immediately repairing a malfunctioning air-conditioning unit for one of the bedrooms. The flat could do with an additional fan for the living area, but the set-up at least worked for comfortable sleeping during these very hot days. Overall, we were happy with our stay here and would book the flat again.

I loved this apartment and its location. It's in Lesser Town below the castle and on a canal overlooking the Danube River. The two bedrooms have beautiful sunrise views, and the living room and dining room look down on a quaint old street of the district. The managers were lovely to deal with, assisted with getting us to travel from the airport, and provided exquisite accommodations. If I ever return to Prague, I would rebook here instantly!

We had an amazing week staying here visiting our daughter who is studying abroad at Charles University. Excellent location, close to everything, situated on a canal next to the Charles Bridge - easy walking access to all parts of the city - plus a tram and subway station just a couple of blocks away too.
The apartment was very big, the bedrooms were quiet and comfortable, the full kitchen was great, and it was a plus having the washer/dryer! Highly recommend staying here on your visit to Prague!

Fantastic VRBO and location near the Charles Bridge. Communication with our contacts was timely and helpful. They even set up a early morning taxi service to get to the airport. Worked out great! I would highly recommend!!
Also, great information/directions for getting access to the VRBO with photos! Thank you!

This beautiful apartment is so close to everything in Prague. We especially loved the view of the Charles Bridge. Lots of restaurants and bars nearby. The apartment is huge and our baby loved crawling as fast as he could on the extensive wood floors. Having the washer and dryer was a huge plus. The art on the wooden ceilings was charming. This is a great place to stay in Prague

A wonderful spacious apartment with spectacular views from every window!
The only negative was a lot of street noise but, as the bedrooms are on the other side of the apartment, this was not a problem.

Our daughter wanted a trip to key cities in Europe with rich history for her high school graduation. This apartment was a perfect place to stay central to the attractions and points of interest in Prague. Owner was very responsive and accommodating and patient with first time American tourists. We would definitely stay here again!

This apartment and location was amazing. My kids cheered when then arrived and saw how big it was. The rest of our travels throughout Europe have been in shoeboxes. And it even had a dryer for washing clothes!

Prague is fantastic
This property is located in an excellent location. Easy walking to old town, Wenceslaus Square, the Charles Bridge and Castle are right there. Great local dining and bars very close by and the prices in the local areas are much less than on the squares!
The apartment is well appointed but although the listing says 1st floor there are quite a few steps.

Evaluation
Getting in and out of the building/apartment was a hassle. Fortunately Owner spoke British English and was very helpful.
Required three different keys with access through gates and old elevator. Process not explained or written down. No written instructions for the use of the TV or Wi-Fi
Would’ve been helpful to have instructions about how to use the tram system.
. Did not provide keys to get into apartment. Upon arrival. Should’ve met me there to explain how it worked
Took an hour to connect with the owner to gain access to the apartment. There’s a language barrier so taking Uber was a challenging.

I caught myself going to the windows just to see the view. Everything was perfect. Communication was outstanding and we had absolutely no issues with check in / check out. Extremely comfortable beds. What a beautiful city. Thank you!

Daughter going to school
We went to Prague to get our daughter adapted to help her get used to her new surroundings. Though, she really didn't need us, it was a great excused to go to a new country and see the culture she will be around for the next couple of years.
The apartment was spacious. Big bedrooms. Nice full bathroom with washer and dryer. With a half bath for guest to use that come over. The kitchen was nice and great living area to lounge in. This is a must if you want to be in the heart of Prague, to see the sights, Castle, Charles Bridge, Old Town Square, Shopping and all the museums I not even count. You don't need a car, everything is about 10 to 15 min walk. I highly recommend this property for anyone that has the chance to go!!!!!

Location Location Location
Did I mention the location was optimal?? This beautiful 2 bedroom, 1 1/2 bath apartment is located just steps from the Charles Bridge, around the corner from an awesome Lokal restaurant, and a short walk from Old Town, the castle, and a convenient tram stop. Super quiet, historical building, with a washer/dryer that was certainly used. I wish I could give more than 5 stars--great way to round out our European vacation!

Excellent location for families with young children
This apartment was wonderful, the hosts were extremely thoughtful, and the location was superb! We were able to go to a playground around the corner with our children, and have quiet evenings for sleeping because we were on the other side of the Charles Bridge from the activity of the center of town, but it was an easy and fun walk into the center! We had a wonderful stay and I highly recommend Veronika and Ilan's place! They were so easy to communicate with.
