About this house rental

Completely remodeled in 2021, new everything including layout! Beautiful lake view home with a double wide pull through drive, located just 2 miles from Long Shoal Marina where you can rent pontoon boats, boat slips, and Jet Skis. Truman State Park Marina is 8 miles where you can rent Pontoon and Fishing boats, you can also rent a slip for your personal boat. Historic downtown Warsaw is just 9 miles, which offers boutique/antique shopping and dining options. Also located on the east side of Warsaw is Lost Valley Fish Hatchery, great place to take the kids. Located in a quiet community with a park, shelter, basketball goal and playground. Home has open floor plan, covered patio and charcoal grill. Perfect for a family getaway or a group of anglers on the next fishing trip. I also have a VRBO in Kansas City (#1202930) 3 bedrooms 2 1/2 baths.

We stayed Friday, Saturday, and left Sunday. It was a family fishing trip. 1 Grandpa, 2 sons, 3 grandsons. Had a great time and we are already planing next years trip.

We really enjoyed the house. Exactly as described and very clean. Had everything we needed. Great parking for boats. Enjoyed the patio setup and spent most of our time there, when we weren’t fishing, catching up and grilling out. The owner is great and communicates well.

This property was a perfect location for getting to and from longshoal Marina and friends and family that stay around this area in RV park. House was supplied well with towel linens kitchen utensils all the good stuff you need for family vacation. Looking forward to our next stay. The owner Jon was in contact with me from start to finish. Any questions asked was answered within the hour.

Our stay at this house was so relaxing and beautiful. The kids had fun playing the games that were in the outside box, the parents enjoyed coffee around the outside table with a view of the lake and the house was all around very clean, roomy and stocked with what we needed for a weekend getaway!

We loved the property that we stayed. We are a family of 6 so we had plenty of space. The home was equipped with everything we needed for our stay. Jon was a great resource as to knowing the lay of the land so we could plan our vacation. We hope to come back again!

This home was a perfect setting/environment for our family and what we needed. The home felt comfortable and inviting and was roomy enough for our family. There was ample space for us to visit with each other and spend quality time. It was very refreshing.

Everything was great. The house was big enough for our family to spread out and be comfortable, the kitchen was fully stocked, extra bedding, and towels available for use. Nice deck and patio with grill available. I like that the kitchen and living room was open so that I could cook and be in the same area as my family. The neighborhood is quite. The owner responded to my questions quickly and the checkin and out process was easy. Overall great experience. I would definitely book again.

Stayed in this home for 2 nights. I struggled to book it, due to needing it same day, but between VRBO and owner, we were able to get it done successfully. Home looks just like pictures and is just as described. We have used various services to rent short term rentals, and often this is NOT the case. The home had all the extras that a family could need, and that was appreciated. Neighbors were also very nice. Close to town, but far enough away you get some fresh air! Would recommend to others.

This was a great place to stay. Plenty of room to hangout and sleeping quarters separated from the hang out area. I enjoyed working remotely from the patio and there was plenty of parking for all our guests. Look forward to staying here again.

We're a group of 60-something ladies from Kansas City who were looking for a place to celebrate a birthday. Jon's home did not disappoint! Everything is brand new. The kitchen is well-stocked and the beds are comfortable. We spent most of our time on the covered porch and even had a glimpse of Truman Lake from there. It's a 10-minute drive to Warsaw for some great food and antiquing options. We'll be back!

Jon was very pleasant to rent from everything was spotless when we checked in and the location was great. The house also has a pull through driveway to make it easy getting the boat in and out of the property.

My son and I spent Christmas weekend at this home. The check in went very smooth, the owner provided helpful information prior to our arrival. It was a very quiet location with a nice view. The house was recently remodeled and was very clean and well taken care of. It was a perfect location for our needs!

Six of us stayed at this property. My best friends sister has always wanted to fish some striper bass and we got to do that. Jim was a great guide down at Truman State Park Marina. He got us out in the boat and we were able to fish for about six hours. Nice community and plenty of room for six people inside and out.

The pictures do not do it justice! This property had everything we needed and even more. We didn’t know how to work the air and the owner called us immediately and explained and then made sure we were ok and if we needed anything else. It was nice because the adults had a space and the kids had their own space to hang. There is also a swimming beach area less than 2 miles away. We were more than happy and have officially found our “vacation” home!

House was beautiful. Nice front yard for yard games and other activities. Perfect outdoor patio with plenty of seating. Couldn’t find water access near the house. Super reasonable price. Wasn’t expecting the house to be as nice as it was. Pleasantly surprised. Host was very friendly

True description, clean and well stocked! Have never stayed in a rental that had extra "everything", paper towels, dishwashing tabs etc...even candy in the candy jar! Kitchen was complete with nice cookware, appliances. It was great to nap and cover up with the throws provided. The hearth room was a bonus for us as we could spread out and visit. Beds were comfy and several porches to sit out on in the morning. Loved this place, beautifully remodeled and will definitely come again! Thanks Jon!

This rental is the perfect quick getaway. The owners have done an outstanding job thinking of everything you would need during your stay. Usually we spend so much time at the local store trying to pick up all the little things you forget to pack. But there was nothing lacking here. Thank you a million times for the things no one else provides like the BBQ lighters and the coffee creamer. There were even full candy jars on the counter.
