This place has lots of room and is great for 2 families. (We had 4 adults and 5 kids) Also nice location near shopping center. Its pretty dated and needs some work but wasnt a big deal.

This is a great spot, ready to get to and walking distance to foods and fun.
The condo itself could use some updating, including more lights (it was a little dark) and the power outlets which wouldn't hold any medium-sized adapter without it dropping out (boot heaters, computer chargers). Otherwise, very comfortable!

The cabin was great for our larger party. Had plenty of space and beds for everyone. Was a little bit older of a spot with some dirty points but overall a great location and cozy retreat.

The property can accommodate a huge family and the location is great! It is old and dirty. It can use extra cleaning and replace some of the furnitures and beddings. The couch is dirty and has holes, and one of the dining chairs also has a hole in the middle. Some of the bedding and pillowcases have stains. We saw a mouse in the corner of the living room. The bottom bunk bed can barely fit a whole body, unless you're a kid and really skinny, you have about an elbow room. Overall, the place can really use some upgrade and inspection.

Condo
The condo convenient and a good size for our group. The refrigerator wasn't working when we arrived and the cleaning service had left 2 bags of linens in the hall. We contacted the rental group and a repairman came out right away. Unfortunately the only fix was an extension cord which put the refrigerator blocking most of the kitchen. Not super great but not the end of the world.

Clean but needs updating
The check in and communication with property managers was excellent. The kitchen was great but the bathrooms and furniture/decor could stand to be updated. One burner on the stove was finicky and wouldn’t always work. Location was great and close to grocery store and restaurants.

Renter beware
This unit looks good only in pictures. It has not had any work done on it since it was built in the 70's.. The brown carpet was dirty and stained, the olive green flooring in the kitchen is coming up in spots, there are no ceiling fans in any rooms, the shower pan in the upstairs bathroom is dirty and stained. The stove burners are the wrong size so nothing cooks even, the fridge freezer has rust on the shelves. The only good thing was the property managers were good at sending someone out to fix a few things, like the windows in the front room that would not open. It was 90 the week we were there, and the ventilation was terrible. Thank goodness we have been in Mammoth before when it was hot and brought fans from home. Only rent this as last resort or you are desperate, as we were.

Condo was in a good location and comfortable. It could have been more updated in the kitchen and the bathrooms.

It was great!! Condo is exactly what we needed for our family

Nice cabin, though not as updated as we liked.
The staff were great! The only issues with management is that they gave me the wrong keys the first time around, and when I received the right key, the door wouldn't unlock fully. My husband doing a way in through one off the window.
Cleanliness of the home was good, though the cooking utensils were not as clean as i had wished. There was a pan with grease in it and a pot stuck in top of it. And lastly,I was surprised to find a wok there, though there was mold in it. Not very good.
I went in a group of 18 and had 2 rentals, #15 is actually more modern and updated with bedding and furniture. The bunk beds on our side barely had space for someone to lie down in bed but not sit, where as the other bunks next door had a good amount of space in between the top and bottom bunks. The space was nice, though you have to make sure you do a walk through and let them know all the issues you find, since we found a lot of issues with the house. The property manager came a couple hours after we told Mammoth Sierra Reservations about the issues to check them out and fix what he could.
We had a list of issues, one being the heater upstairs did not work. We had to use the fire place, though we still had to keep the door next to it open a bit for the smoke to travel out (one of the latch was missing and smoke came out the front, we had to place a heavy log to close the top door tight).
Overall a good experience, but wished it was more updated and modern. We would definitely come back to this property, though not sure #17 is the right one for us.

Pleasant Stay
Very good experience at this house. And the staff working in the community are extremely kind and nice.
The location is perfect, just 3 minutes away from grocery store(Vons), and 1 minute walking distance to bus stop.
The only thing can make it better is indeed the internet.

Annual trip to mammoth
This year it was great. Last year we had problems with hot water and lights for this same unit. But this year it was great.

High school cross country Mammoth camp
Our high school cross country team comes to Mammoth for a week every August to train and do things together. We stayed in several condos in Chateau de Montagne this year. Very good set up for 7-8 runners on the lower floor and coach or chaperone in the master bedroom upstairs and the kitchen and great room for the kids to use during free time. Also, we have to set a boundary that the kids can roam in and a condo complex is good for this, with it's pool area.

Just OK
This is a decent rental and was much cheaper than the other options available but it could use some updating / TLC. Several lightbulbs were out. The batteries in the CO monitor needed replacing, the smoke detector in the kitchen was just placed on top of a cabinet, the front door deadbolt was very hard to lock from the outside, and the fireplace didn't draw particularly well and until we had it really going it made the room smokey.

great location but needs wi fi
Location is great. Close to town and right on bus route to mountain. Two baths for.five people took some shuffling.but three baths would have.worked better. Condo needs wi fi. Need to stay connected and get information.

unpleasant experience.
The house has dust in both kids bed room and upstairs bedroom. There is no laundry and there is no air conditioner either. Moreover the basic thing like first aid kit was not able to be found. The tv volume was making a sound which was unbearable to watch anything.

Our Mammoth Vacation in July
It was great. The only complaint was the neighbors dogs at 6 in the morning. We thought it was no pets alowwed. They were not service dogs. Over all it was great. Would recommend to friends.
