The "Zydeco House". Quaint 76 old year renovated in 2021, 2 br, 2 ba, home located in the heart of Breaux Bridge historic district. Come sit, relax, and enjoy morning coffee on our front porch or sitting area viewing the backyard. We named our home after purchasing it from a "Zydeco dancer" from Washington State.
Put on your dancing shoes or walk the streets of downtown to visit veterans park, library, antique shops and restaurants for great food, fun and much more.......

My friend and I really enjoyed the Zydeco house. It was charming, spotless & well appointed (although we basically just slept there and didn’t have time to bask). Angel was a gracious host and even offered to let us stay a bit to wait out a big storm. We would definitely return next time we are near Breau Bridge or Lafayette and I highly recommend it!.

We booked for the annual Crawfish Festival. Perfect location! The hosts were very nice and the war stories of the Penguin were so interesting. Beds were very comfortable, the house was clean and felt like home. Thank you for sharing with us!

The hosts thought of everything. Pantry was stocked and many incidentals in the cupboards if needed. The renovation of this house was really well done, there’s a little office and laundry, and a small area adjacent where you can get away from the action. Two bedrooms with very comfortable mattresses. Angel was a great host and very accommodating, we immediately felt at home. There’s lots to do in the area, great food and music and cultural events. Highly recommend.

We loved the house! Perfect location to downtown. Within walking distance to donut shop, church, shops, and resturants. Buz and Angel were great hosts and quick to respond to any questions we had. They gave us helplful suggestions on places to eat and things to do in town. The house was beautifully decorated and well stocked for our arrival.

Very comfortable and spacious cottage within easy walking distance of the restaurants, shops and churches in Breaux Bridge. Fully equipped and feels like home. Also a very central location to get to Lafayette and all of the other towns and sites in Cajun Country. The hosts are very welcoming and helpful.

The "Zydeco House" is on our top 5 of places we have stayed. One of our favorite things was waking to the church bells chiming and this morning someone was singing while walking in the street. We ate wonderful food, shopped, toured and spent a great weekend being together, 3 generations of women.

My friend and I were taken with the house when we arrived. We both walked in with big grins on our face. It is beautifully decorated and yet so very very comfy. There was not a speck of dust to be found. It is truly the best of the best. The Location was perfect for enjoying Breaux Bridge hospitality. Angel and Buz were the most accommodating hosts and We hope to be back next year. Thank you so much, your hard work, and special touches did not go unappreciated. Its a 100 out of 10.

Angel and Buzz's Zydeco Cottage in Breaux Bridge really was perfect in every way: perfect location, perfect accommodations, perfect comfort. We were easily able to get in and out of Lafayette to visit our daughter at UL for Family Weekend and easily walk from the house to restaurants and shops in Breaux Bridge. The house was just the right size for my husband, mother-in-law, and myself , with the two bedrooms and bathrooms. The accommodations are just as pictured online but in person everything was so cozy and comfortable. We look really look forward to staying here again.

Zydeco House was great for a party of four celebrating a teenager birthday. House was perfectly furnished - location was good (they loved the donut shop a block away). My favorite was the back yard, where I drank my morning coffee in sweet bliss before rousing the kids for an adventurous day. Angel and Buzz were great hosts. She even bought our birthday girl a small cake with candles!! Would love to come back to this location.

WOW, if you get a chance to stay with these hosts, DO IT! Unbelievable customer service! Not only was this cute little house clean and comfy, but they also went out of their way to make sure we had all kinds of extras. We had plenty of snacks when we arrived and they even cooked us yummy food waiting for us in the fridge after a long 16 hour day of working! We will defiantly stay with these hosts again and recommend them to anyone! Southern hospitality at its FINEST!

What a gem! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the "Zydeco House" and definitely plan on returning. It was tastefully decorated, immaculately clean and incredibly well appointed. We've stayed at many, many, many vacation rentals over the years and this is, hands down, one of the very best. Everything in the home from the decor, to the kitchen supplies and everything in between, was meticulously curated to give the guest an outstanding experience. We were even welcomed by fresh flowers, cookies from a local bakery and a bottle of wine, such an unexpected and appreciated treat. The hosts are incredibly warm and welcoming and we truly felt if we needed anything at all, they would have assisted us immediately (which is a really great feeling to have when you're traveling with children). Another added bonus is that the home is within walking distance to many wonderful restaurants and shops. Do yourself a favor and book this wonderful home if you're ever in Breaux Bridge!!
