Upon arrival the concierge and valet staff were extremely rude to us. After giving the gentleman an ID just for a luggage cart he told my friend she couldn’t get it back until we brought the cart back. 3 of my friends and myself on the trip for 4 days was lots of luggage and we do not travel lightly. After getting into the room we were checking things and before even getting our luggage off of the cart the older gentleman that my friend got the cart from called our room and yelled “I need the cart back” very rudely and hung up after all I was able to say was hello so it began a rough start at the resort. In the room there was some sort of dead insect in the fridge the hair dryer was unsafe for use due to the previous damage done to it and the shower had to run for about 10 minutes before hot water would come out. In the 3rd day of our stay we got on the elevator which took forever to come to the floor because there were only like 2 working we got on the elevator with other people and the elevator got stuck on the 6th floor and would not open. There was a housekeeping staff member in the elevator that began to scream and induced panic with about 8-10 people inside the small space so that was a pretty terrifying for a vacation. Overall renting through the VRBO I would do it again because the process was easy and efficient, I would like to thank you for the great service. Overall the room and the view was gorgeous just a few thing throughout the trip had a negative impact.

The vbro hotel Marco Polo had a positive retro feel, like entering the 1970’s. I enjoyed this feature. The apartment was simple, modern and well equipped.

This place was just what I wanted. On the beach, nice pool, great area, reasonably priced. The restaurants weren’t all in service and the room needed a few repairs, but overall… I’d book here again!

The pool was out of service for a while and was planned to be closed for several additional weeks. The property management knew about it but did not mention it in any of the booking site, thus luring people in using the nice pool pictures, asking for the same price, and not providing the service.
Borderline fraudulent

I had messaged the company I rented the condo from but I never got any instructions on check in information
They never reached out to me the day if arrival so I went ahead and got to the hotel and they helped me check in
After arriving I received a 1 bed suite and I paid for a 2 beds and I also received zero blankets. Yes I asked for blankets but front office just did not have any available so i am currently sleeping in a bed with no blankets the next day I talked to the guy behind the seat and told him I had no blankets in my bed last night his reply was “you need blankets in this weather” I replied I sleep with blankets every night regardless of the weather.
A email would have been great to let us know that the swimming pool was closed completely empty no water at all in it and also the hot tub drained as well. Yes we had a great beach and ocean but my mom wanted the hot tub that’s why we decided to stay at this hotel.
And I’m not petty but the shampoo and conditioner bottles was filled with water no shampoo or conditioner just water in the bottles. Pretty cheap right there. I’m am pretty easy to get along with but if I pay for a room I expect at the the bare minimum blanket & soaps and the host to reply to me would have been fantastic.

Loved the pool and the beach is right outside the pool deck. Loved the fridge and wet bar. Saved a lot of money and was able to bring healthy food. Customer service at the hotel was good. Safe neighborhood. The hotel food was just okay unless you count the pizza shop downstairs. Yummy ingredients and thin crispy crust. The valet parking was a bit annoying as you have to call ahead and even then wait 5-10 minutes because they were always busy. This is the perfect location if you love a beautiful beach and the pool. close to the hard rock and the mall. Would definitely stay again

Hotel was not as pictured on site…. Bathroom was icky and a/c unit was noisy.
Plus a hold was put in my card and I was told funds wouldn’t be released right then…. It took longer.
Thanks but no thanks

Hotel and under construction
This listing does not indicate this is a hotel. Even when I reached out to the property manager asking some specific questions, they said reach out to the owner. I asked for clarification as I thought I was...the exact same response was sent back. The room we were given was completely unacceptable. Paint peeling in bathroom, rust on kleenex box, mirror, etc. The kitchen was exceptionally old and frankly, disgusting. I was able to move rooms as I spoke with the hotel director and I did inform the property manager that the room was unacceptable. This is a false way to advertise and honestly, the person who portrayed this property should be fined for advertising something so off. I would never had agreed to this property/ room.

Overall, it was a decent stay. Beachfront and pool were nice, room was not.
A lot was broken in the room (sink, closet door, fridge). Our room was only cleaned once the whole stay and we had to call and beg for new towels each day. The beach and pool were nice. Staff (especially security guy) were rude to us.

Good condo
Other than the room, the condo was nice. We enjoyed the pool and restaurant/pool bar. The room is very outdated. Far from downtown.

The picture online compared to in person was not at all the same.
We were put in a room where there was paint peeling off the walls, the bathroom was outdated and paint peeling off the walls there as well. The manager did put us in a better room, but it had no couch or a chair to sit in. Will not go there again.

Not what it seems
If you just want a place to sleep and wash up, this works. If you’re looking for more, don’t stay here.
The room pictured in this listing is not necessarily the one you get. Ours was a very dated version. The bathroom is tiny, has no fan. The kitchenette was fine for quick simple things - microwave only for cooking.
The property is under construction. There was a lot going of noise as early as 8 am. It was difficult to even hear the tv in our room over it. They shut off the water one day for about four hours. That was fun. There were notices about that hanging in the elevators, but they had two different dates on them, so it was hard to be prepared.
The host works with the Ramada hotel attached to the “beach restart.” They responded to my concerns by telling me to talk to the management on site. If I had not messaged them, I would have never heard from this host. I’ve never had a host who hasn’t welcomed me, checked in, etc.
The room was decent on arrival. They clean every 3 days. You have to ask for everything you need in between (towels, toilet paper, extra garage bags). If you use the dishes to eat, you’ll have to clean n them.
The pool was good, only open till 6 pm. The beach access was great. You have to sign out towels every day. Beach chairs & umbrellas cost extra.
I would not stay here again.

You’d expect more for the money
Overall it was fine, but pretty dated and neglected. Curtains were extremely gross, faucet was wobbly, shower handle was barely secured, tile in bathroom was tore up, stove top was all burnt up, etc.. for the amount of money spent per night you’d expect A LOT more.

Terrible FRAUD LISTING
Terrible FRAUD LISTING. Closet doors stuck and fell on me‼️ Bathroom vanity ancient and falling apart. Tub not clean. Ceiling patch leaking. Expensive food served in plastic TO GO containers by pool. No blankets nor heating system‼️ I felt defrauded and spent most of my time chasing after service while they laughed while asking handicapped at 3 AM

Nice beach access but everything else not great
This room and hotel are not well maintained. There was construction the entire time. No one cleaned my room in the 3 nights I stayed-- there was a sign that said they don't clean every day due to COVID. I have no idea why they can't clean because patrons are staying there.
There is a fee for parking when it is possible to park in the garage across the street but it's hard to access and the valet attendants told me that only the Ramada has garage access ??? It's a pretty big garage. Don't know that I believe it but didn't have energy to find out.
The pool is ok and there are affordable restaurants on site for italian, burgers and breakfast sandwiches/coffee and that was nice.
Overall, because Miami is so expensive, this is what you get for this price.

Smelled like mold. Had to pay for chairs on beach. Some kind of convention going on. Rude staff.
I would not stay there again.

Good location, badly in need of updating
Property was in a good location and had a nice pool and beach area. Building is old and much in need of updating. Rooms need a deep cleaning - while not "dirty" necessarily, rooms were dusty and in need of wipe downs and painting touch ups. Staff at front desk were friendly but valet and others working on property were not so. Felt like bothering them by asking questions.

This is not ft Lauderdale
I wish I’d of known that you could only use valet parking here. This is more of the rich side. We made several trips to Hollywood and ft Lauderdale and it was where we wished we were.
We also had to pay an extra $15 a day to use towels, for the 2 bottles of water you get on the first day which I was not aware of and $20 a day for valet parking. We chose this place originally because it was a cheaper option but ended up being more than some of our better fit options. It also could of been cleaner.
