About this house rental
The 2 Bedroom Townhouse has lake view at the back deck and 2 minutes walk from the deck to the lake. The house is within 6 minutes walk to beautiful beach, the Boulder Lake Club with swimming pool, and restaurant. The house has TV, cable and WIFI internet. Dining area is for 6 with a grill for outdoor cooking. The first floor master bedroom has full size bed and a twin size mattress for extra sleeping. The 2nd floor bedroom offers a Full size bed and a balcony.

This cabin was in a great location! Having the lake club passes was nice too. The kitchen is stocked with essentials for cooking and the downstairs bayhroom was nice. The reasons for the 4 star review are the musty smell, the uncomfortable beds, and some electrical problems with the front porch light and kitchen lights.

Great neighborhood. The 4 passes to the Lake Club were just enough for my family. A little rustic, especially the cookware, but overall it's what would be expected for the price. The owner was responsive and even checked on us after check-in. I would 100% return my next time going to Lake Harmony

The property was clean, quiet, and relaxing community with close parking. All amenities were within walking distance or a short drive. Many activities to do. The local people were very friendly and helpful. Great local restaurants. We will definitely be back!

Great anticipation, but disappointed
We were looking forward to our first time experience in the Poconos for the summer, however upon our arrival, we were extremely frustrated and stressed since the air conditioner didn’t work in the two bedrooms and the heater was on and we were not able to control the thermostat and had no choice, but to sleep In the livingroom on pull out sleeper (not comfortable) and luckily we brought a blow up mattress just in case. The owner was quick to respond back and sent a technician out right away and was told the company was really good. The technician came out right away and replaced the thermostat. (Still not fixed) He came out second time and replaced thermostat and said it was fixed and the heat was shut off. Not the case because the heat came back on and disrupted our sleep for a second night! The owner did offer to come out and replace thermostat on their own, however we chose not to deal with it and wanted to enjoy the rest of our stay . It was cooler outside, however there were not a lot of screens in the condo to allow fresh air in. If your door is open, be prepared for the 6:20 am dumpster arrival which wakes you up from a dead sleep! Also disappointed to not be informed ahead of time that the lake was not accessible and that the dam was not released and that the levels were low and no swimming allowed. Could not even put our feet in water! Overall, at least offer a discount or partial refund for our aggravation and inconvenience. It should have been offered. Very disappointed in our stay. Glad to be home now.

Perfect getaway
The townhouse was a perfect getaway for us! Easy access to many attractions in the area. Unfortunately the water levels at Boulder Lake were low due to repairs at a dam, but we were able to use the pool.

Great getaway to the Poconos
This property exceeded my expectations with exceptional views. Inside was so fitting for our getaway as it was spacious bedrooms were comfortable and the living room was perfect for relaxing, as we talked, laughed in front of a warm fire. We loved how close it was to restaurants also to the mountains to ski daily. Very happy with our stay as we will definitely be renting this house again soon.

Cute townhouse
Very cute house. We enjoyed our weekend here. Spent the day at Jim Thorpe which was about 20 minutes away then grilled and used the fireplace at night. I would recommend!

Great time!
The property was nice and as listed. It was a very quiet and laid back getaway for the weekend. Beautiful time of year to be in the Poconos. The owner is great and responded to my questions very quickly. Restaurants are within minutes! We would definitely stay here again in the future.

Great location, that's about it
Initially was really looking forward to this trip. Was celebrating an anniversary and reached out to the property manger a month before about early check-in.. they confirmed an earlier time. Less than 24hrs before check-in time, I was messaged that it was no longer available early and had to wait about 4 more hours than promised. The accommodations were a bit old and dated... it smelled musty and moldy. One shower wasn't completely cleaned (human hair still present). Won't be returning.

My girlfriend and I had a wonderful restful stay. The home was as described but unfortunately the weather was uncooperative. Even so, we drove into Jim Thorpe and enjoyed the town as well as many good restaurants in the area. We would return in a heartbeat.

Will 100% Book Again
I booked the trip as a birthday getaway for my significant other but it was admittedly just as much a gift for me. I grew up going to Lake Harmony and had never even SEEN Boulder Lake. The property’s location between the two lakes is wonderful, and is just a short walk to get food or coffee or a drink, and an even shorter drive to get groceries or gas. The property is actually part of a larger development which includes a beach and pool area, which I did not know going in. There’s a nice restaurant just a 2 minute walk up the gravel path that sits on the water. The home itself was immaculate, very clean, and well stocked. I always like to bring my own soaps and whatnot, but Sophie (the owner) left us with an abundance of towels, sheets, blankets, spices, k-cups for the coffee maker and even a TIKI TORCH!! There are two grills, one gas and one charcoal with lighter fluid and coals on hand. We grilled the first night and made a big breakfast the following morning in the very roomy kitchen (which includes a dishwasher). There’s not much I can’t say about this place, from the two bathrooms, two bedrooms, giant bathtub and comfortable sitting area. Plus a washer dryer? The only thing I was disappointed in was that I came in the summer because I would have LOVED to use the fireplace!! Gives me a reason to come back! Will definitely be returning. Thank you to Sophie for making everything super easy, fast and convenient!

Very nice and well equipped house
We enjoyed staying in this house. The check in was easy. Sophie was very helpful and readily available in case we had any questions or small issues. House is upkept and clean. The kitchen has all the necessary small appliances. The lake is close by and the Big Boulder beach is within 5 -7 min walking distance. Overall wery positive experiance.

Amazing getaway!
Amazing property and location! Sophie was so helpful and accommodating. I had originally booked 2 nights, but wanted to add another day. Sophie got back to me right away and arranged another day to book. When she realized i double paid the cleaning fee, she reached out to me letting me know she would refund me. I would've never realized and really appreciated her honesty. Cabin was immaculate and Sophie gave us an early check-in. She also provided us with lake and pool passes. Restaurant is also on site. Loved how open the cabin was too, had a rustic yet modern feel for it. It was exactly what we were looking for and will definitely be back!

There is a fee per person/per day for use of the lake and pool at the Boulder Lake Club (which Sophie did reimburse when she found out this information) There is also a fee if you want to put a kayak/boat on the lake.The overview of the property also states that there is a 'hot tub', again this is misleading. The reality is that there is a jacuzzi type tub in the upstairs bathroom. The overview also states that the 1st floor bedroom has a double bed and a twin bed. This again is not true. There is a double bed and there is a cushion in the closet that can be placed on the floor to use as additional sleeping space.Last, I did not find the house to be as clean as it should be when there is a cleaning fee in the cost. Don't get me wrong, it wasn't "dirty" but there were a few issues. The dishes left in the dish rack were not clean and needed re-washed. The jacuzzi tub upstairs had a lot of "scum" in it. I had to spray the tub with a Clorox cleaner and get in the tub and scrub it. There was a lot of dirt in the carpets (which was noticed when the 3 year old decided to roll around on the floor), and when you looked under the couches, beds, etc. there was a lot of dirt, so you can tell that this isn't being moved when cleaning.There are also definite electrical problems in the upstairs bedroom, as when I plugged in my phone charger on my side of the bed, the lamp on my boyfriends side of the bed went out.On the plus side, there are mattress coverings protecting you from bugs, spills, or anything else that people may leave behind. And the place was definitely livable, I just felt that for the cost of cleaning fee, the place should be immaculate. And if you are sensitive to smells, you may want to ask that the scented plug ins not be used before you arrive

Vacation Saver
Me and my friends were trying to rent a cabin to spend Memorial Day weekend and could not find anything . We reached out to two other places on this website and one of the owners got back to us a day and a half later which is ridiculous since we could've spent that time looking. I found this listing and the owner, Sophie, got back to us right away. She also responds very quickly and was kind enough to text me when we got to the location to make sure everything was alright. The cabin was beautiful and clean. Loved the second floor bedroom since it had its own private bathroom with the jacuzzi. It rained this weekend so most of our outdoor plans were ruined. Thankfully this cabin was located close enough to alot of activities so we made it fun. We will definetly book this cabin again if it's available. Thank you Sophie!
