beautiful design. Ingrid is such a lovely person, she is so very talented, and she obviously put a lot of love and care into these rooms. with the first aspect, Ingrid nailed every part of designing this apartment. the colors are bold but comforting, the textures are interesting yet not overpowering... the items in the room are modern, but not cold-looking, and the overall look is stylish and homey at the same time. exactly what you want in the design of most spaces.
when designing a living space, the design is divided into 2- looks, and usability.
with the first aspect, Ingrid nailed every part of designing this apartment. the colors are bold but comforting, the textures are interesting yet not overpowering... the items in the room are modern, but not cold-looking, and the overall look is stylish and homey at the same time. exactly what you want in th design of most spaces.
the second aspect of a living-space design is a bit harder to find in most "designed" spaces, and that's usability- the comfort and ease with which a person living in your designed area is going through the day. It's harder to design since the designer doesn't use the space- doesn't live there to find the flaws in it.
sometimes, the two aspects of a room design, clash... and a decision has to be made - compromise towards beauty or usability.
this room is absolutely beautiful but in some small aspects, lacks in usability. here is one example:
the room/s that need to be the warmest are the rooms in which you take off your clothes, the bathroom, and the toilet. these rooms are the coldest in the house, with the toilet having no means of heat, and the bathroom being constantly cold- even when the radiator is turned to its maximum capability...
the overall system of heating the apartment is very non-user friendly, even for an engineer... you could set it to 20, and wake up to it being changed.
this was our main issue... there were other small issues, but overall this room is great!

The apartment had been very tastefully refurbished and everything in it was clean and well kept. The bed was very comfortable and the little patio area at the rear was nice to be able to sit on either for breakfast or a bit of late afternoon sunshine. Hostess was marvellous. Met us at the property, was available via messaging services and also left a bottle of wine!!!
Nothing really - except the apartment is on a busy road and also on a corner so that foot and vehicle traffic was quite noticeable. The living space was very light but because of this it meant that passers by could easily look into the apartment unless the blinds were down and then that negated the lovely light room.

The location was superb, everything I needed was on hand. 10 minutes stroll to a beautiful beach. Pay & display carpark opposite the property. Good public transport links close by.

The apartment was very new and clean. The bed was super comfortable, and the place also had our dream shower! Cooking in the kitchen was also very easy and enjoyable as all the dishes and appliances were available. The design of the place is outstanding, the door to the bedroom was the best part for us.
Ingrid was extremely helpful and friendly, she adapted to all our wishes. We had a great stay in this cosy apartment! Highly recommended!
Nothing! We liked everything!
