Overall our stay was wonderful and the house was spacious, beautiful, with beautiful views, clean and had all the amenities mentioned on Vrbo. Only critique would be some of the drains are really slow, ability to turn on jacuzzi jets on was inconsistent, small things like lose door handle and outlet issues were slightly inconvenient.

My friends and I had a wonderful stay! One of the absolute best places I’ve stayed in in the Tahoe area - it had everything from a nice jacuzzi to quality kitchen supplies and a grill. The interior was spacious and excellent for our group, comfortably accommodating 10-12 adults with large comfy beds and 5 bathrooms. The location was incredible - truly just a 5min walk to the Meeks bay beach, though the quick path to get there is a bit rocky and across a road. If you or someone in your group isn’t super comfortable with footing, you could walk to the beach along the road or drive and it would only be 1 mile. Ashley was a super helpful host and answered all my questions in advance. Highly recommend!

Hosted a 50th birthday party, plenty of room for everyone, kitchen is large and well stocked. Good views of the lake from kitchen and decks. Easy walk to the lake (although a bit steep on the way back).Enjoyed our stay, would come back

Loved everything about this home.

Celebrated our 40th Anniversary with our adult kids and grandkids in this beautiful chalet. We came from Idaho, Texas and California to enjoy the stunning views. The chalet came fully stocked and with more than enough space for the 16 of us. We enjoyed the hot tub, family meals around the large dining table and family fun in the huge living room. Despite a couple hiccups with shower doors, we had a wonderful time and our host was very welcoming and easy to communicate with. We are very, very pleased.

Overall our stay was great. There are a few things about the house that I wish we knew going in, first and foremost that there are MANY stairs. We would likely have chosen a different house had we known that there were going to be so many stairs. There were other items in the house that were not working - the arcade games in the game room, some of the sinks were clogged and lightbulbs were out, the toilet seat in one of the bathrooms were very loose and the shower door in the master bath doesn't stay closed. The deck was also covered in pollen to the point that we barely used it. Some of these things are normal wear and tear and to be expected but some were disappointing considering the price we were spending to stay at the house.

We had a great time at this property. The first floor kids room with comfy bunk beds was a great space for the kiddos (ages 2-9). Proximity to Meeks Bay was great for our families. We would stay here again. In late June it was very hot at night (no A/C), even with it cooling off outside, but perhaps that's normal for a Tahoe house. The house has some wear and tear but the furniture was awesome, well-stocked kitchenware, and amazing views!

The house was very nice and as advertised! Very homey and can accommodate larger groups comfortably. The house is so close to the lake and the views from the house are amazing! The property manager is also very easy to get in touch with, has a helpful binder on the property and some close restaurants, and made sure that we had everything we needed including extra supplies (toilet paper, trash bags, etc). All of that plus the fact that it's 20 minutes from Palisades makes this property a fantastic option for a ski trip!

When we arrive the house thermostat was at 51 degrees. After numerous calls with the owner, they finally agree to contact someone to service the HVAC. The next day we were informed, no one could get to their property to fix the problem. The owner decided to send over 2 space heaters for a 4500 sq. ft house. Needless to say, it didn't help and we left 3 days early.

If your looking for a get away and a place with a amazing view rent this spot!! Communication with the owners of the house was really good , fast responses and just an overall good experience. We are thinking of booking again in the summer!!

The property is huge, much bigger than it appears. Great views and easy access to 80/50. Definitely off the beaten path of South Lake Tahoe area but well worth the quiet area and views! Super close to Homewood. The furniture and decor very unique and impressive. Beds and linens plenty and very very comfortable. Shampoo in every bathroom - impressive! Heating the house is a bit tricky, some outlets don't work and some doors including the garage door are a bit temperamental. All around, an amazing home with something for everyone in your large group! Did we mention the views? Spectacular! Summer must be amazing in this home?!

Even though we booked this home last minute for new years, it ended up being one of the best homes we’ve ever been to in the Tahoe area. If you’re reading this I can tell you right now the house is way better than the photos so if you see this property available then book it. We loved our stay the house had every little thing we can think of and needed even during a winter storm and power outage. The property management is great and quick with responding and the overall experience was just fantastic. If available next year we would love to revisit this same home

Beautiful house w view near to Palisades
Our stay was lovely! We were greeted with thoughtful touches, and particularly pleased with the driveway being fully plowed after a large storm and made parking easy. The home is lovely, clean, and cozy. Our group had a great time. Beautiful view of the lake and great location for getting to Palisades!

Snowed in during record breaking snow storm!
This home is as beautiful as pictured. The view of the lake is amazing. My family celebrated Christmas here and the house even came with a Christmas tree. It was an adventure for us to get to the house due to road closures from all the snow. We arrived at night to a snow cleared drive way. The house address could be more visible and maybe lit up. Ashley our host was in constant contact and always very responsive. Wifi was out our whole time due to the snow storm, basic cable would be nice to get local info and news. The kids played board games (house comes with many), did art projects etc. and enjoyed the many activities available in the game room. There are also sleds and saucers available in the garage. The kitchen has everything one can need; pots, pan, silverware, glassware, plates etc. We ended up being snowed in for 3 days doing lots of cooking and baking. Luckily we all came prepared not needing to go to the grocery. The house fit our family well, 6 adults and 5 kids 2 yrs to 13 yrs. Everyone found the beds comfortable and had plenty of space. I personally loved the quality of the sheets and bedding. If you have a toddler like we did, I recommend bringing 2 freestanding baby gates to block the stairs. There were no rugs by the doors so I had my daughter bring some since we arrived the day before. There were a few other things I shared with Ashley and know she will look into addressing. One couldn’t ask for a better home to be stuck in during a record snow storm! Our family would like to come back in the summer and check out the beach.

Annual cabin trip
The cabin was amazing. It’s was exactly like the pictures. Check in was easy. The beds were very clean and tidy. The owner is very nice, attentive, and responds quickly when you have any questions. I recommend this house and can’t wait to come back and stay here again.

Amazing Meeks Bay Cabin!
Let me just start by saying this was our best Lake Tahoe Vacation Cabin, EVER! The cabin was amazing with 5 bedrooms & 5 Bathrooms and a view of Lake Tahoe and Meeks Bay that will take your breath away. The patio area was our favorite spot because of the views; We would watch the sunrise while drinking our coffee in the morning and end the day having a glass of wine while admiring the glow of the sunset on the Lake. The oversized dining room table and 10-person sectional in the living room gave us plenty of room to hang out together, while having plenty of space in the game room and other areas of the home to relax if you wanted some quiet time. Ashley, the host, was on point. She was very responsive with a couple of questions we had, she even followed up with a phone call to make sure are needs were met. We will definitely look to Chalet Von Eberz for all our future annual family vacations!

Nice house and great location!
Nice house. The location is great with beautiful view of Meeks bay. The owner did a great job choosing furniture for the house. Second and third floor is really clean, however, downstair bathroom is dirty. Appliances need upgrade, but still functional. Overall nice place to gather for a few nights.
