About this house rental
Escape to the tranquil serenity of this 3 Bedroom, 3 Bath luxurious home situated in one of Fripp Island’s quietest neighborhoods, Deer Lake. This home has amazing lagoon and lake front views from the front porch, screened porch, deck, and wall of windows. The 2 fountains will be a backdrop for relaxing as you observe the birds and other wildlife that are abundant. Just across the lake you can relish in the nature of the Audubon Trail. This maritime forest setting is one that will mesmerize you for hours. A few steps down the street you and your family will delight in the private community pool and playground. You can also hop on the golf cart or bikes and take a very short ride to the beach for additional sun and fun.
This open floor plan home has hardwood and ceramic tile floors and a newly renovated gourmet kitchen. There are 10 foot ceilings throughout this spacious home. The living room has a large screen TV with cable and a vaulted cedar ceiling. There are 2 separate dining areas, as well as an island with 2 bar stools and second sink, in the well appointed kitchen. The master bedroom has a vaulted cedar ceiling and its own access to the screened porch. The master bathroom has 2 sinks and vanities, as well as an extravagant shower with separate heads on opposite walls, and tub. The second bedroom has an en suite with a shower. Upstairs is a private retreat with a bedroom, TV, en suite with 2 sinks and a shower, and a deck. There is a charcoal grill and outdoor shower as well. Ample parking is provided in the 2 open stalls under the house and turn around driveway.
***The Fripp Island Club requires amenity cards for you to frequent their amenities. These amenities include golfing, playing tennis, going to the restaurants on Fripp, going to the swimming pools and the fitness room.
The amenity card prices for stays that are 1-4 days are $35 during the summer months and $25 during Fall, Winter and Spring.
The amenity card prices for stays that are 5-8 days are $50 during the summer months and $35 during Fall, Winter and Spring.
If you do want to purchase the amenity cards, the resort will add an additional island fee of 13% to your rental to use their amenities. This will be added to your weekly stay at time of amenity card purchase.

This house was perfect for a last little trip before school starting. I loved the pond views, where there was a lot of bird activity all the time. The house was well appointed, beds very comfortable, and exactly as described. We had quick responses to messages, highly recommend!

This was our first time on Fripp Island and we fell in love with the location of this house in a private neighborhood. Very spacious and open, well stocked kitchen, amazing views on the porch where we watched deer and alligators and wildlife. Having the golf cart and bikes were so helpful! Our adult children enjoyed the upstairs space, and the beds were comfortable and 3 bathrooms was a plus for us. The only downer was that the generator they were using to control the lake water level was very loud and distracting. So after the first day once they started with the pump we couldn’t use the screened in porch anymore. We hope to be back next summer and appreciated the amenities and enjoyed our stay.

We loved this property, and I really liked how it was tucked out of the way. The views of the water from many of the windows was a pleasant surprise, and the gators were fun to watch throughout the day. The house was a great size for our family of 4 +1 friend. We also enjoyed having our dog there as well. She enjoyed the deer and gators too! We would stay here again.

We absolutely loved the house! We had 4 adults, a toddler, and our dachshund this trip. We each had plenty of room to spread out, and we loved the open concept of the floor plan. We gravitated to the living room near the amazing windows that overlooked the lagoon.
The golf cart made navigating the island a breeze. Loved that it was already there and included in the listing.
We made lots of great memories in this house, and we look forward to future stays!

We have been staying at this house for years - it is a perfect place to unwind! The dogs love laying on the porch and going for rides in the golf cart. We have had issues with fleas at other houses that allow pets - but not here! Always clean and well stocked, it is our go to beach trip. Can't wait to go back!

My husband, bro & sis-n-law stayed here April 23-30. What a fantastic stay! They stayed in upstairs suite since they could control a/c separate from downstairs. Total privacy for all! We are some pretty serious cooks and the kitchen was really perfect. Lots of everything plus stuff left by others. Golf cart was appreciated letting us do lookie-see trips around the island. We all fell in love with alligators and singing birds outside the deck.
I would suggest to future people who love to cook…do your shopping in Savannah. The Publix store in Beaufort (?) was a sore disappointment. On the other hand, everyone LOVED the shrimp from Gay’s Fish Company. Strawberries were beyond delicious from local farmer markets!

This was our first time at Fripp. The owner had great communication and the property was better than advertised. Beautiful views and plenty of space. Golf cart was convenient for getting around the island.

This property is located in a wonderful area on a small pond. We enjoyed seeing the alligators and all of the birds. The neighborhood pool also is a plus. We did have several hiccups during our stay. Initially, there is not a gas grill as listed. It is a charcoal grill. We did not bring charcoal and lighter fluid but the property management company promptly responded and provided those items. The house does not have hot pads or oven mitts--not a big deal, but we recommend that those items be added.
Our biggest issue was the cooktop--it worked on our first night, but quit working on Friday morning. We made do on Friday night and have leftovers both on Friday and Saturday, but were disappointed as we all are cooks and had brought fresh seafood, pasta and produce. We contacted the property management company on Friday evening, but did not receive a response to the stove issue until lunchtime on Saturday. It was unable to be repaired while we were there and, while the property management company gave us the code to another property so we could use their kitchen, we were not able to access that property, resulting in eating leftovers for a second night.
We did not specifically request a refund, but we were given a $300 refund, which was a nice gesture that we appreciate.
Overall, this is a great property and we certainly will consider returning based on the location and assuming that the stove issue is rectified.

Our family had a fantastic time at this beautiful home. The house is perfect, great location, and in beautiful condition. The kitchen is extremely well stocked with dishes, and glassware. We had beautiful views of wildlife every day, and loved having a neighborhood pool, as the resort pools were very crowded. We would definitely love to come back again.

Thanks for sharing your amazing home with us. It is located on the back side of Deer Lake Community away from the main street noise. It is in a quiet, secluded location. The house has an open floor plan with comfortable furnishings and an amazing screened in porch overlooking the lake on the east side (great for watching the sun rise while drinking an early morning cup of coffee). the kitchen is well stocked. It has everything one needs to have a wonderful visit on Fripp Island!

Serene island getaway
If you’re looking for some peace and tranquility and a wonderful plush setting, this is a great getaway! I love how the home is on the lake and lots of trails and places to bike and walk. It is a short bike ride or a golf cart ride to the Fripp Island amenities. We loved everything about the home especially that screened porch! 5 stars!!!

Perfect for relaxation
The house was everything as described. Very clean and well equipped. A perfect property for relaxation, enjoying the views and the abundant wildlife. We spent a lot of time on the screen porch watching the various species of marsh birds. There was easy access to the beach by using the golf cart. We did have a problem with the golf cart however Kathy with the property management company was very responsive to get it fixed. We would rent this property again.

Good times with fun deer vibes!
What a fabulous vacation! We escaped the hot humidity of FL to experience a *colder* Christmas this year in SC. The weather did not disappoint and neither did the Deer Lake house! It was exactly what we were looking for a week long stay with 4 adults and one 11 yr old. We really enjoyed the views of the scenery from every window in the house (multiple deer, lots of wading birds ,1 alligator and beautiful sunrises). Cruising the island in the golf cart and hanging out with the very chill deer was so much fun! The activity center was a nice highlight too (we got to hold snakes). The house is well maintained and we enjoyed cooking every night in the big kitchen with the nice newer appliances. Evenings were spent cozied up in the living room watching Christmas movies. Beds are all super comfortable and we had everything we needed. Thank you for making our week long stay a memory we will never forget!

House was clean and easy to find. Was nice that had a golf cart to use and bikes. Forgot beach chairs so would have been nice if house came with some of those items as most other houses we have rented along coast in the past..
Resort amenities looked a little tired. Restaurants on island are not great but ok for quick convenient meals. The Lady's Island dockside restaurant was very good though it is about 25 minute drive. Foolish Frog on St Helena was also good. Beaches nice but no showers at access points. Pretty scenery and wildlife around island. Ton of deer. Stores on island have most of what you need. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

We have been going to Fripp for years and have stayed many places on the island. We may have found our new favorite!! We LOVE this house & location in Deer Lake. The house is beautiful, the views are amazing, the kitchen was well stocked, the bedding was soft, and the golf cart was great. We loved that bikes were there & that we could bring our little dog. It is a little bit of a drive to get to a beach access, but that didn’t bother us. This weekend was even a little more special because my son got engaged while there. Nothing better than Fripp & this house made it even better!

Great Time!
This was a great property on Fripp. We have rented for several years and this house did not disappoint. Golf cart was great too. The lake surrounding the house made us feel serene and provided daily excitement with the alligator sightings. The Deer Lake community pool was refreshing, clean and uncrowded. The kids stayed in the upstairs space and we never heard them. Everything was nicely new and updated. We truly enjoyed our stay.

Perfect for family get-away
Property was in a quiet location with great access to the rest of the Island. It had gorgeous views out every window! There were a few bugs, but that is expected in a home surrounded by water, trees, and grass. I highly recommend this property and hope to go back to the same place again - it was the best!!!

An absolute beauty!
This house was hands down one of our favorites that we have ever stayed in at Fripp! You can see the lagoon from every window in the house and the view from the living room is absolutely gorgeous! The layout is awesome, location is wonderful, lots of wildlife to see from the porches, the golf cart is really nice - lovely place! Also, you cannot ask for a better property manager. She is quick to respond, down to earth, eager to make sure your stay is wonderful, easy to communicate with, and clearly cares about her properties and tenants. 10/10 would recommend!

This property is AMAZING! The house, neighborhood, & Fripp Island in general exceeded our expectations! A beautiful view from all sides, so many different areas to take in all the beauty & wildlife without being on top of each other, comfortable & beautifully decorated, a great kitchen, a wonderful outdoor shower to wash off the sand from the wide, uncrowded beaches (so easy to access with the golf cart). We also enjoyed riding the bikes through the quiet neighborhood & bike trails. The neighborhood pool was nice to have access to also. So much to love about this special place! It was such a peaceful retreat & so hard to leave!

The home is charming yet elegant, modernized, very well stocked, and provides for the perfect island experience. The location is breathtaking and provides sweeping views from every side of the home. The host provided excellent communication from start to finish and was a pleasure to partner with before and during our stay.
