The house is very nice, plenty of room, beautiful location. Towels would be nice. Our family members that went in the water by the dock got swimmers itch. Not the owners fault but a bummer for my daughter and my two grandchildren.
I would stay again!

Cabin was a great space and plenty big enough for 6 of us! Beautiful lot, pond, deck and lake. Clean cabin and kitchen had everything we needed. Wonderful area and places to go on the lake as well. Planning to go back!

Great stay! Plenty of room for everyone!

Wonderful place for a big gathering of friends and family! Plenty of spaces for small and large group chats. The lakeside firepit was a favorite of ours and the sunsets were spectacular. Lots of outdoor seating on the deck and by the fire. Observed a bald eagle feasting on his catch in one of the trees on property.
We would stay here again!

Upstairs bathrooms, no shower curtain, windows upstairs hard to open and close, icemaker did not work. Outdoor furniture area not set up when we arrived, breaker switch kept tripping. Well stocked kitchen supplies and utensils, pontoon was great. Property managers were very accommodating. Had a great time would return, just needed a little TLC.

We had a nice and relaxing time while staying in this home. You cannot get tired of the view of the lake. You will love sitting on the deck drinking coffee in the morning to watching the gorgeous sunset go down over the docks after a day on the lake. Our sons also enjoyed this lake. They claim it’s now their favorite. The 27 inch walleye might have something to do with that!
They also enjoyed playing pool in the basement & running around outside.
The only recommendation is to supply Tupperware containers for leftovers. Bringing your own bath towels was also a first.
We would definitely come back!

Had an amazing time at this house. The backyard views are incredible at all times of the day. Had a couple hiccups throughout the weekend and the hosts were on it right away to make sure we were accommodated for. Needing to grab the house key in Brainerd was a little unusual, as I'm used to electronic keypads for every rental I've been in. But wasn't to far out of the way which was nice. I would recommend this place to anybody!

The house was the perfect size for our large group! Plenty of sleeping room, privacy and gathering spaces! Julie was so nice to work with as we got checked in and gave us recommendations for eating, etc. Very nice option for large families!

This property was a great getaway for our family, ranging from age 8 – 70. It is a secluded by mature trees and ample lake front, distanced nicely from any other docks.
The docking area was large enough for us to have 2 modest sized fishing boats and a jet ski. We used Clamshell Public Boat launch. It is about 4 miles away; 10 minutes by road, and 15 minutes by water.
The beds were all comfortable (I believe they were all Serta mattresses.) The master is on the main floor with a ¾ bath and king bed. Upstairs are 3 bedrooms, each with a queen bed. One of the upstairs bedrooms has an extension, like an L shape, with 2 twin beds in it. This was a welcome surprise for parents with two kids. The bottom level has a twin over twin bunk bed in the living/entertainment room and the 5th bedroom with a queen is down the hall.
Pros:
Beautiful chain of lakes with crystal clear, clean water
Comfortable house with plenty of space for large groups
Large kitchen, making meals easy to execute
The huge deck on the back, overlooking the lake
Pool table for indoor entertainment. (The foosball table is not full sized, not very stable and put together wrong – the guys are backwards. We had a good laugh over this, and the managers may be able to fix it.)
The manager was very pleasant to work with. We provided some feedback on additional kitchenware that I am confident they will stock. (Thank goodness grandpa had a corkscrew on his utility tool!)
Cons:
There is no zero entry/wade into the lake. The sandy beach area with the bonfire pit was awesome, but the lakeshore is edged and very rocky. I recommend water shoes.
There are a lot of stairs to get from the house to the lake. This made for quite a workout hauling inflatables down and up and was tough on the elders in our group. **Send firewood in the boat when you launch.
Our check-in/checkout procedure required picking up the house key in Brainerd. This was not a huge inconvenience for us since it was on our way but could be if you’re coming from a different direction. It's also somewhat strategic since your kids will want to spend all your money during that pit-stop.
Checkout time is 9:30am
