Die reinste Katastrophe
DIe Lage war sehr gut und nah am Strand. Die Wohung war sauber.
Um in die Wohnung zu gelangen musste man – entgegen allen europäischen Datenschutzverordnungen – die Personalausweise aller Gäste mit Handy einscannen und in ein Internet-Programm eingeben, dass nach 4 Versuchen immer noch nicht funktionierte! Die Schlüsselübergabe war genauso chaotisch: Wir mussten mit einer Frau (deren Namen ich bis heute nicht weiß)) telefonieren und von Tür zu Tür laufen, damit diese dann – anscheinend via Fernsteuerung – geöffnet wurden, um in unsere Wohnung zu gelangen! Die Terrasse, wie sie bei Booking.com beschrieben wird, ist eine Mogelpackung! Wir haben vor allem die Wohnung gebucht, weil wir eine Terrasse mit Meerblick haben wollten. Es war ein verglaster, abgeschlossener Würfel aus Plastik, deren Doppelfenster man – laut Telefonstimme – nicht öffnen durfte, weil sie kaputt waren! Da an den Fenstern große Aufkleber mit Text waren, bestand das Problem wohl schon lange und wird in naher Zukunft wohl auch nicht geändert. Sehr ärgerlich!Vor dem Küchenfenster waren alte rostige feste Lamellen! Für den Wohnungsmüll gab es keine Hausmülltonne, sondern wir mussten unseren Müll ca. 400 Meter entfernt an einen öffentlichen Müllcontainer der Stadt entsorgen! Ebenfalls sehr ärgerlich und chaotisch war das Auschecken bis 11 Uhr: Bereits um 10:25 Uhr (!) klingelte die Putzfrau mit Ihrem Mann und ihrem Kind (!) sehr aufdringlich und wollte die Wohnung putzen. Als wir ihr sagten, dass wir bis 11 Uhr noch Zeit haben und diese bitte warten solle, war es ihr egal: Während wir unsere ersten Koffer zum Wagen brachten, gingen diese drei schamlos in die verschlossene Wohnung und fingen an zu putzen, so dass beim Abholen der letzten Koffer um 11:02 Uhr bereits überall die Handtücher und die Bettwäsche herumlagen. Sehr unverschämt! Wer Lust auf unliebsame Überraschungen hat, viel Stress und auf das freche Eindringen in die Intimsphäre hat, ist in dieser Unterkunft bestens aufgehoben.

Comfortable stay in a very nice apartment.
Comfortable beds. Modern bathrooms. Good lay out. Spacious. Well equipped. Sea view. Near the beach. Very clean. Nice decoration.
Parking wasn’t always available in the outside communal parking lot. Only one tea towel. No English instructions for the washing machine. No microwave. Lights didn’t work in the main bedroom.

A perfect apartment for a beach and city break
The apartment was spacious and very well designed to suit a family, with a bathroom, shower room and a large walk through wardrobe. It was spotlessly clean and had safe parking. Lovely views of the sunset over the sea, and so close to the beach, which is the surfer's paradise of Bilbao. 20 minute walk to the nearest metro (Sopela) and a 30 minute metro ride to Moyua in the city centre where you'll find the amazing Guggenheim. Bilbao itself is a fantastic city, so this apartment was really perfect for spending days on the beach and exploring the city. High quality facilities with smart TV's, well equipped kitchen, lovely shower, good WiFi. Owners were very helpful and quick to respond to questions. Absolutely complaints at all. Just to note the swimming pool in the complex opens in June for the summer (same as all pools / accommodations in the area). You are so close to the sea you don't need a pool! Also to note the surfboards in the photos are not in the apartment, but there is a surfboard rack if you have your own. We picked up a bodyboard in the Decathlon store (about 2km).

Exceptional
The apartment is absolutely beautiful! Great remodel, we loved staying here. We could see the ocean, ate on the outside patio area. Great showers and gorgeous tv. Easy to walk to beach in minutes. Wonderful place to stay.
