About this docked boat rental
This houseboat is truly one of a kind. If you have been on a typical houseboat before the Kee O Mee is nothing like it. This amazing houseboat is full size with livable space being 24 feet wide and 50 feet long. The main room has a full-size kitchen with large center island and several appliances; including refrigerator, microwave, oven/stove, dishwasher, coffeemaker, toaster.
The living room has a large sectional couch and a wood burning fireplace. It is completed by a 55" LCD smart TV with DVD Player and an antenna and always surrounded by breathtaking views of the Flathead Lake and the mountains.
Directly behind the living room area, in the same room is a very sturdy log bunk bed as well as a log daybed that can transform into a king bed or two twins. The master bedroom has like new carpet and its own private entrance. The bedroom is complete with a queen bed, closet, dresser, and a best of all privacy. Enjoy a great night sleep with soft waves rocking you to sleep.
The houseboat has a large bathroom that is completely renovated with a brand-new slate/stone walk in shower, new toilet (enclosed for privacy with door), wood laminate flooring and new panel walls. It also a private entrance to the outside. completed with a newer vanity and a full length mirror.
There are 3 electric heaters throughout the houseboat but are rarely needed.
On the outside of the living space is a 3-and-a-half-foot walkway that circles the entire houseboat. Down a few steps from that walkway is a long dock for boats- approx. 65 feet long. The roof of the houseboat has a new 400 square foot composite deck with railing. The roof top deck has a waterslide and an opening for thrill seekers to jump off into the water. The houseboat has a large generator that runs everything with support from natural gas, it also has solar panels that can run small light systems. This houseboat is secured tightly to pilings in open water and cannot be moved by the renter.
As much as it has what it gives that is its greatest asset. Laughter and Memories that last a lifetime!

We had so much fun staying on the boat. The slide is awesome, there are lots of games available, and the spot was great for our boat. We could motor to Lakeside in about 10 minutes. Perfect for paddleboarding too. Tim was super helpful available when we checked in and if we needed help.

We had poor weather during our stay, unfortunately. Which in turn affected our stay and some things with the property. However, Kayla was quick to respond to any issues or questions that we had, which was very helpful. The property is very cool and a fun experience.

We rented this property for a birthday getaway. The host picks you up in a pontoon boat and shuttles you over, she was very nice and helped us load and unload everything including my toddler. The weather was great, the slide and kayaks were utilized and everyone had a blast. The kitchen was fully stocked with most cooking things you could ask for. The main bedroom's bed frame may need fixing, perhaps the previous guests broke it during their stay. Otherwise everything was great!

We rented the house boat for a bachelorette party of 9 and were more than comfortable. We had so much fun using the slide and kayaks, and the rooftop deck was beautiful. Kayla and Alan were such friendly, kind and accommodating hosts and made the stay wonderful. It was a great experience and we’d absolutely recommend!

This place is so much fun! We brought our ski boat and we’re able to dock it right on the front of the house for the weekend. Kayla and Alan were super helpful with transporting everybody and our stuff over from shore and they even came and rescued us at midnight when we got stranded 6 miles across the lake! The water slide off of the roof is a blast! We played lots of rooftop cornhole and did some kayaking around the bay. Overall it was a great time and I plan on going back!

FAMILY FUN ADVENTURE
We had a wonderful time on the Houseboat. The children, 9 and 10, rated it "Awesome". We loved the location, gorgeous views, the slide was a huge hit, we rented a pontoon to access the lake, kayaked and swam. All in all, a really fun time. Kayla, the manager, was always accessible and helpful. Some of the things are a bit dated and broken but did not deter from the overall adventure. We loved it. We would rent again.

We had a wonderful bachelorette weekend at the houseboat! It is HUGE with plenty of room. The water toys, slide, and kayaks were all in great shape and lots of fun. It was also very peaceful and relaxing in the evening. I would recommend for anyone who enjoys being on the water.

Best Experience I've Ever Had With VRBO
Alan and Kayla gave me and 11 of my friends an experience that will last a lifetime. We rented their Houseboat and Pontoon boat for my friend's bachelor party and had an awesome time. Kayla picked us up at Somers Boat Launch on their pontoon boat and gave us a tour around the lake and showed us all of the surrounding accommodations that the area offers. Additionally, Kayla assured us that she was available 24/7 if we needed anything or had any questions about the houseboat.
The houseboat was very clean and slept 12 guys very easily. The houseboat had corn hole, shuffleboard, chess, and a poker table that we utilized while we were there. Also, there was a party barge and multiple kayaks to enjoy on the water. Even though our stay was the first weekend of June and the weather was chilly, we still had a lot of fun using the slide and cooling off in the cold water.
The full kitchen and BBQ made it very easy to cook for everyone throughout the weekend and they even had an extra propane tank and generator. This houseboat has everything you need to have a great time!
We were able to visit Bigfork the first night of our stay and spent the second night in Lakeside. Both towns are great for a group of friends or family to have a fun time.
To end, you WILL NOT regret booking this Houseboat. Alan and Kayla, thank you for being such great hosts and allowing us to have a once-in-a-lifetime experience for my friend's bachelor party.

Great Time!
We held our annual company summer party on the boat house. We had 30 people ranging from age 18 months to adults. Everyone had a great time! Boat had everything we could ever need. Games, DVD, towels, shampoo, conditioner, soaps, well stocked kitchen utensils, bowls, plates, cups, pots, pans, appliances, kayaks, fishing poles, fishing boat, extra batteries, paper towels, air beds, etc……. Nothing was missing! We all fit comfortably and everyone found something to do. I will definitely rent this boat again and use it for our company party. Everyone that walked in was amazed at how spacious and clean it was.

Great location and so many activities
The peaceful and tranquil location of this houseboat is a great way to spend time with family and friends. There are so many activities on the water and close by—first, Glacier National Park, then fishing, kayaking, tubing with their pontoon boat available for rent, shopping in the quaint little towns nearby, and so much more. Our family of 9 spent a week on the houseboat and still had a list of activities we never got to complete.
Kayla and Allen were great hosts! They were easy to communicate with and quick to respond to needs. We thoroughly enjoyed our time on their houseboat and would love to visit again!

Very accommodating.
We were looking for a getaway from the smoke of the northwest fires. Mr. Lard went out of his way to make sure that we would have everything we needed to allow our children to do remote school on the houseboat. We had to cancel our trip at the last minute as weather conditions changed. Mr. Lard was again professional and accommodating to the fluid nature of our situation and providing a range of fair resolutions to our last minute cancellation. He was as good as his word. So while we never stayed on the houseboat, much to my children’s discontent, my dealings with Mr. Lard compelled me to write a positive review about his integrity.

Absolutely perfect for a family getaway!!
Our family of 11 (7 adults and 4 children) stayed on Kee O Mee for 3 nights during our family vacation to Montana this past week. The owners were amazing to work with from the start. They were very helpful and responded timely to our many questions. It was a perfect way for our family to enjoy each others company and the beautiful Flathead Lake. The slide was the perfect addition. We just spent our days relaxing and playing in the water. The owners have done a really great job of making the place feel comfortable for their guests. Thank you so much for sharing this gem with our family!

Absolutely amazing family vacation
I can’t say enough great things about our time spent on the Kee O Mee July 14-20th. The house is fully stocked with all the comforts of home. Ben went out of his way to make sure we had an excellent stay and had everything we needed.
It is a boathouse. It’s not a hotel! So, be prepared to fiddle with the generator and choose which electronics to use at the time. Completely worth it...!!!
We absolutely loved the amazing slide, the kayaks, the floating barge and just taking in the breathtaking views. After playing for hours, the kids would enjoy being able to come watch a program on tv or play some xbox. We definitely didn’t feel like we were roughing it!
We hope to return. I can’t think of a better vacation destination!

Wonderful unique get-a-way.
We rented this amazing houseboat for our office party and then spent a few days relaxing. It was great for the party with boating, water slide, kayaks, fishing, and sunning. It is so restful and sleeping on it was terrific. It is quiet and has beautiful views. The inside of the boat is like a house complete with a bedroom and large living area. You can fish right from the front deck and the views from the roof deck were gorgeous. I would recommend this for anyone wanting a lake stay and a very unique experience. The boat had everything we needed from a full kitchen to beach towels. Ben was wonderful if we needed anything.

A terrific way to enjoy a beautiful setting.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The houseboat was much bigger than we had anticipated, which resulted in my wife not getting motion sickness (she usually does on boats but we took the gamble because we love staying near the water). The houseboat had everything we needed and provided us a great place to simply relax and enjoy the beautiful setting. Would highly recommend it to groups and families alike as the open layout allows for everyone to gather in one place.
We have no reservations about this property or the owner. He was great to work with and quickly responded to our questions.

Couldn't have found a better place to hang out on the lake! The way Ben brought us in and welcomed us to his house boat honestly made us feel like we owned the entire lake. Not to mention how great Ben was to save our butts when our boat broke down all the way in Big Fork. The house boat is one of a kind and we already have plans to make it happen again summer 2017!

Wow - my family and I so enjoyed this unique experience! So private, comfortably equipped with everything we needed. Our 10 year old loved the slide into the lake.
