The property was clean and very comfortable. We liked the area. It’s a better property for adults rather than families because there isn’t really a game room or space for the kids to
Hang out.

We loved the house. It was well furnished with household items and well stocked with supplies - soft soaps in the bathrooms, toilet paper, paper towels, plenty of bath towels. It was very clean and comfortable. Of note, everyone loved the beds. This house exceeded our expectations. The management company did an outstanding job of communicating. We highly recommend it.

The property was very neat and clean. There was adequate space to hang out and visit. The kitchen was well stocked with all we needed to prepare and serve our meals, and it was nice to have a separate dining room. All in all, The Haven proved to be perfect accommodations for our family.

This was an amazing place with everything to make us feel at home. The owners were very accommodating last minute when our plans changed. We have a great time cooking, playing games and enjoying the hot tub. Relax never came so easy.

Very nice property

The property’s outer landscaping and design was nicely done and looked even better with snow on the ground. The inside was spacious with an open concept kitchen and living room area and a separate formal dining area and sitting room. We were wanting for nothing when it came to kitchen appliances, dishes, and utensils. There was plenty of coffee, sugar, and even seasonings. The master bedroom was gigantic, and all bedrooms were nicely decorated and clean. We enjoyed starting fires in the vintage fireplace in the living room and there was an abundant amount of cut firewood in the backyard. My 7-year-old daughter and I loved the hot tub on the deck outside of the screened porch area, especially at night where we could look up at the stars. One morning we saw 4-5 deer just wandering through the backyard. The skiing, tubing, and ice-skating area is less than a 5-minute drive in one direction, while the awesome indoor waterpark, game room, and restaurant are also less than 5 minutes in the other direction. There are grocery stores, gas stations, and shops a few miles from the property. I would recommend also driving about 15 minutes away to see the city of Harrisonburg, which is home to James Madison University and has everything a college-like town can offer from bars, restaurants, a mall, etc. We have already recommended this place to family and friends and will return.

We stayed four nights and five days with our two kids (2 & 5) and had a terrific time. The kids loved the spacious house and the hot tub was a great relaxing activity for all after a day on the mountain or exploring the resort/town. The house is within five minutes of everything you would want to do at Massanutten and no more than 10-15 min from non-resort restaurants and the grocery store. The master suite is huge and includes a comfortable sitting area, in-wall gas fireplace, king sized bed, and a TV. We absolutely recommend The Haven and plan to book it again in the future.

Location is great, and owners are easy to communicate with. Would absolutely stay here again!

VA was the perfect location for our northern and southern families to meet. Lots to do in the area for grandkids and time to relax for grandparents. Visited the JMU Arboretum, the indoor water park, carriage ride and Harrisonburg. The home was well equipped with everything we needed and more than enough room for us all to spread out. The kitchen had every small appliance you could imagine. Only recommendation would be some towel bars in the master bath.

Beautiful, well maintained and stocked with everything desired. Ideal for preparing meals, not missing one item I reached for. Was even able to prepare a birthday dessert. The hot tub was amazing. Quiet neighborhood situated close to everything.

Property management was prompt and responsive to my questions. The property is nestled in the trees on a corner lot with beautiful landscaping. The pictures are accurate and it was spotlessly clean. The kitchen was stocked with beautiful ceramic plates and cups, and everything necessary to fully use the kitchen. The house has a spacious master BR, including a sitting area and an large adjoining bathroom, complete with a separate shower and whirlpool tub. We enjoyed sitting on the swing screen porch and watching deer.

We stayed at the house for my son’s graduation from JMU. The house was perfect! It was 15 minutes from campus and located in a beautiful neighborhood! We had our family join us and it fit everyone comfortably. I would highly recommend the house for any JMU event! So easy to get to campus!!

Clean, spacious home, close to ski lifts. Beautiful neighborhood. The deer wander right through the yard in the morning. Enjoyed the hot tub.

We had an amazing time at The Haven. The property is beautiful, both inside and out. There was ample space for people to spread out on the lower level. It was nice to have a living room, sitting room and dining room where people could spread out. The sofa in the living room was extremely comfortable, as were the beds. The kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans, plates, cups, utensils…etc. The management company’s communication was excellent. It was nice to know that they were readily available, if needed. We will definitely rent this property again!

This was the perfect pre-Christmas get away! A Christmas tree in the living room and garland decorated stairs in the foyer greeted us. Beautiful, comfortable house with a fully equipped kitchen made it easy to hang out in the hot tub, watch Christmas movies by the fire, visit local wineries and relax. We did get a little anxious about having to go to the top of the mountain to drop off the trash with the impending winter storm, but were pleasantly surprised at how well the resort manages the roads and snow removal. We really enjoyed our stay.

This house exceeded all my expectations with for clean and safe I felt. The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked with every item I needed to cook all my meals. The hot tub is where I'd retreat to at night to relax me before bed. I cannot WAIT to come back and visit with friends!

This house worked out great for us (6 adults and one dog). The house was very clean, the beds were comfortable, and the furniture provided the perfect amount of space for us to gather in the living or all eat and play games in the dining room. The kitchen had enough supplies for us to prepare a couple meals...and the toaster oven came in handy for toasting bagels. The appliances are a little dated but they functioned great and we didn't have any issues with them. We easily fit 4 vehicles in the driveway with room for one more. We did start to run out of hot water but that was only when all 6 of us showered within the same timeframe. This was our first experience staying at Massanutten, but I would recommend this house and would definitely consider renting it again in the future.

Convenient
We own 2 time shares at Massanutten. Our adult children and our grandkids always stay there with us. This year we decided to find a VRBO so our diabetic dog could come AND we got some quiet time too. The property owners were fine with our kids coming and grilling. It was a great family place. The kitchen was very well equipped with every appliance you could need. We would definitely would go again. So comfortable.

Lovely home, every amenity you could want! Near resort village, 20 minutes from Park for hiking. 20 minutes from Cross Keys winery which we would highly recommend! Master bath shower is way too small but room to spread out upstairs. Not many great restaurants nearby but kitchen is fully stocked if you are cooking. Very enjoyable stay!
