About this apartment rental
Boasting stunning sunrise and sunset mountain views, Artist Road #30 exudes a quiet serenity. And although hiking trails are just steps away, this lovely condo is only half a mile from Santa Fe Plaza! From the moment you enter the living room of this single-level, Spanish-style property, you feel right at home. Perhaps it's the golden glow of the sunlight pouring onto the creamy walls and warm-toned tile floor. Or it could be the cozy wood-burning fireplace (with firewood provided during the winter season) in one corner, the ultra-comfy sofa, or the two luxurious recliners.
Everything is urging you to kick off your shoes and sink into a state of bliss. Oh sure, you could watch a favorite movie on the big flat-screen HDTV, or put in a beloved CD for the background soundtrack to your perfect evening. But you might just want to lose yourself in a book, or launch into one of that marathon "remember when"" discussions that begin with anecdotes and end with raucous laughter and heartfelt joy.

This is a lovely condo we didn't have time to use the pool or hot tub and it was a little cool when we were there but the home is lovely and well stocked for whatever you need blankets, dishes etc.

Location of this condo was perfect for walking to Cross of the martyrs each morning to enjoy the sunrise at one of the best views in Santa Fe. One morning even took the path straight down for a quick walk to the plaza. Or you could just sit in the living room and enjoy another beautiful view out the front window. We spent our last evening relaxing at Ten Thousand Waves, then it was easy 10 minute drive back to our condo to enjoy Posa’s takeout around our cozy dining room table. All the best of Santa Fe.

We stayed 5 days. The condo was clean and comfortable. Quite a lot of storage space. A nice seating area outside. Everything we needed to prepare meals, but a new toaster would be nice. The condo is a short drive but to far to walk from attractions. Convenient parking 5 stars. We would stay there again

The property was as pictured and advertised Love the view sitting on the back porch in the evening. It was a short drive to a number of national park sites which made it appealing.

The property was great and as described. Beautiful view of the mountains. Beds very comfortable and nice little patio area. More comfortable chairs would have been appreciated. Only issue we had was having to go to a different location to pick up keys and also back to same location to drop off keys.

We enjoyed watching the mountain views from our patio change with the weather and time of day.
The only down side was that we had to drive to the plaza because the walk back was all up a hill and too far for us to walk later in the day or at night.

Overall, a great experience. Plenty of room for my husband and I and our adult daughter. The beds were comfortable and the location was very good. Kitchen was well stocked with more than the usual appliances/pots/pans, etc. The pool was not in use, however. It also was a small indoor pool. Since I had searched for 1) pool 2) AC and 3) WIFI as my search options, it was a bit annoying to get there and have no pool. From previous reviews, I don’t think this is unusual. If the pool is not working, they should let guests know.

We loved our rooms - the kitchen was well stocked with the utensils we needed for making breakfast, and the view from our little porch was a great place to drink our coffee in the mornings! It was convenient to everything we wanted to do, and we would stay there again!

Loved staying at this cute condo. Clean and well appointed. Especially loved sitting on the patio relaxing. Management was very attentive.

The view was as depicted; the road not shown really had little noise. Neighbors were quiet. Walking distance to various sites included coming back uphill - a little intense for flat-landers. But my partner wanted to stay another week :)

Overall my family had a great experience in Santa Fe staying in this unit. We walked into town via the "Cross of the Martyrs" trail and found it convenient and fun. If you are not in pretty good shape walking back to the unit uphill at 7k feet or so will be challenging. The unit was clean and comfortable and had very nice views. Communication with the property manager was excellent. She set us up with lots of information and even mailed some visitor brochures prior to us leaving for our trip. The pool and spa were in great shape. Some other reviews stated the pool is permanently closed, that is not the case. Another negative I read was taking the garbage out at the end of the trip, this was not difficult. I threw everything in our car and ran it around the corner and was back in less than 5 minutes. The only downsides to the property were the pool closed at 5 p.m. which was a little early for our family. Also, there were essentially zero cooking amenities that you might often find at properties like this. For example spices, cooking oil, things like that that others may leave behind for the next guests. There was however a great selection of dishes and coffee filters and ice in the freezer.
Overall we would definitely stay at this property again! Some of our favorite restaurants were The Cowgirl, (happy hour with live music from 3-6), Marias, The Shed, and Tomasitos (I think that is the spelling). Our highlight of the trip was a day spent at Ojo Caliente Hot Springs.

Great parking and convenient but we has to drive to get to the pool and hot tub. Pool was permanently closed and hot tub closed at 4pm. We picked the property to use hot tub in the evenings after skiing. We also had to drive our trash to a dumpster - not fun.

Way too many rules and regs. Obviously, the management has had trouble with previous tenants. Condo was okay, not great. Do's and Don'ts posted everywhere. Who charges a cleaning fee and then demands that the guests empty there own trash cans in an area dumpster (which was impossible to access anyway) or threatens to charge a surcharge if they do not?
Good location, decent decor, good smart tv, tiny washer and dryer, furnace that sounded like a freight train and constantly ran on too long, eventually blowing cold air into the room it was supposed to warm up. Generally, a mediocre experience.
We had stayed in the same compound many times before, and this was by far the least attractive unit yet.

My wife and I stayed at 30 Artist for a fun week in Santa Fe. Very clean and close to all things SF. Recommended

Easy drive or walk to the Plaza area. View of the mountains was great. Busy time for us as we were artists setting up for the 100th Annual Indian Market.

Immaculate condo with an amazing view. Well equipped kitchen. Streaming service a plus! Difficult to walk around for us but would be ok for younger people. My only suggestion would to have some coffee available for the first morning. It was tough going to the market after a 10 hour drive.

Great condo
This condo was in a super location. It was private and quiet but centrally located. Well furnished. Only complaint is that the beds were uncomfortable

Wonderful Property
We would love to stay here again. The property was clean; the check-in and check-out process was simple; parking was close, and the view from the porch was wonderful. The location was also convenient to everything we wanted to see, although we did drive everywhere. One of the things that made the property extra special was that the condo had everything you needed, from toilet paper, paper towels and garbage bags to kitchen supplies, extra pillows and even a fan for the bedroom. I highly recommend it.

Mostly a great stay.
The property was in a great location. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. My favorite space was the patio in the back where I had my tea every morning and evening and enjoyed the landscape and quiet.
Although we specifically requested a place with air conditioning, we arrived on Friday and it didn't work until Monday. I also didn't think we should have to dispose of our trash before leaving. Our fee included a cleaning fee and that should have been covered by that. Otherwise, it was good and we would stay there again.

Santa Fe stay
My friend and I had a lovely time in this quiet and homey place. We spent some down time sitting on the patio, appreciating the view. It was a bit of exercise, getting back to the property after a long day of shopping and eating, but very doable!

Clean, nice property
We went skiing in Santa Fe and this was a great spot to stay! Right by the road that leads to ski Santa Fe.

Very nice property
Clean, cozy and convenient. Close to everything in Santa Fe and on the way to the mountain. The heater could use some help as it works constantly and is very loud, otherwise a great place with beautiful views!

Just amazing
The condo was spectacular. It has a great view. The photos listed are exactly as it really is. Short drive to downtown, ski Santa Fe and newer part of town. I would recommend this property to anyone.

Beautiful Views
The property is gorgeous. The 2nd bathroom off the hall has a mildewed shower curtain which needs to be replaced but overall it’s beautiful

Good
Check in is tricky because the key pick up spot is not at the apartment property location, so that is not the most convenient and the amount of things one can get charged for as a fine is also a bit unnerving. (they make it seam you have to leave the place how you find it or you will be charged, in which case why is the cleaning fee so high?)
Lastly the AC is very loud in the guest room and getting an electric outlet to work for some reason was a challenge.
With all that said, great little apartment in a great location and would certainly go back.

Good Santa Fe location
We liked the location and the place itself; perfect size and proximity
to Santa Fe. The check in requires driving to the property management to get the keys and then to drop them off afterwards. That seemed unnecessary. I would come here again, though the heater is loud and the wind howled in the smaller bedroom.

Nice home in good location
The details are well managed: clean throughout, new sofa, nice flooring, excellent master bedroom mattress, bedding, pillows. Good kitchen furnishings. As noted in other reviews: the road noise on the patio/view side is substantial; but not a deal breaker. It is a lovely view. The AC is very loud; on a hot day it can be a wonderful nuisance. The beds in the #2 bedroom should be replaced, they are really bad. I could sleep in them, but I can sleep almost anywhere. The location in relation to "Old Town" is not that bad. A fairly short uphill walk; plus being uphill you get nice views from the north side patio. We enjoyed our time there, 5 nights. We will consider staying there again in the future, probably not in summer. A 4 out of 5.

Nice place
Very nice place. Good location. Comfortable beds. Clean bathrooms. Two minor irritants: notes were posted all around the house w reminders & rules (I remember seeing at least 8). We felt like we were staying at Aunt Alice's house and she wanted to make sure we behaved. Second is the inconvenience of having to take your trash to the dumpster which was not near-by. We are paying a cleaning fee, that should cover the cost of taking out the trash. It was two small bags worth.

Excellent accommodations
We love The Land of Enchantment and 30 Artist Road made it even more wonderful. The condo is excellent in every way and close to the action. I would highly recommend this property.

Awesome place.
My wife and I had a wonderful time staying here. The view from the front was amazing and we had a great time watching the sunset and relaxing on the porch. It is a short walk to all the galleries and restaurants around the town square. It had a full size kitchen and everything you need to make a meal. Just bring your own food! Would love to stay again and keep exploring the beautiful Santa Fe region!

This was a pleasant and comfortable home to stay in. I really liked the mattress in the master bedroom which was very comfortable for my back. This kitchen had pretty much everything we needed, even if the setup was a bit awkward. The home had a very nice view out the back windows and a nice sitting patio. In addition, the home was close to downtown and there was also a playground for the kids within walking distance. The one thing that was odd about the home was the contract they required to be signed after you requested the reservation. The contract described this condo as being so rough that I thought we were going into a slum house or something. As it turned out the decor was dated and definitely didn't fit a modern luxury home but generally fit the southwestern motif and was otherwise pleasant, clean and well equipped.Overall the contract was intimidating and was different than the house rules posted on VRBO. I've read and signed my share of house rules on VRBO over the past few years but this was 14 pages of dense text written by a lawyer to be read by a lawyer. It included things like indemnifying them for both negligence and gross negligence. Although I understood and accepted most of the rules at a surface level, I would have had a lawyer review it if it was for anything more than a three-day rental stay where I didn't expect to have any trouble. The feeling it left us with was less of being hosted and more of being policed. It definitely affected our perception and general experience of the place and we have to ding it a star because this contract was a negative experience. Otherwise it was a pretty good place.
