About this house rental
The ultimate contemporary estate to de-stress, unwind and recharge your well-being. Luxury hotel and spa experience without the crowd and traffic. It can accommodate multiple families and corporate retreats, providing private and shared spaces, allowing guests to come together and share, or retreat and relax. The residence is a five-minute drive to Punahou School and ten minutes to Ala Moana and another five minutes to the heart of Waikiki. Use the elevator to access the private pool and spa level of a split-level home designed by an acclaimed Honolulu Architect. The rental living area is approximately 6,500 sf. The top-level is may be used as an office or bedroom boasting floor-to-ceiling walls of glass opening to a private balcony featuring jetliner views of the city and ocean. The split level below the two-car garage is where the living room, kitchen, dining room, and master bedroom are located. The lower Pool level consists of three bedrooms and two large restrooms. All restrooms are equipped with bidet toilets. There is also a large bonus entertainment room with access to spa amenities consisting of an indoor whirlpool, steam room, dry sauna, and restroom. Space opens out to an infinity edgeless saltwater heated pool with an outdoor whirlpool and barbecue area. Swim in a one-of-a-kind fiber optic-lit pool bottom simulating shimmering stars as you overlook the city lights of Honolulu. Improve your circulation by relaxing in the dry sauna or steam room. While the sauna using dry heat will help relax and loosen your muscles, the steam room's unique health benefit is the humidity. Retreat to the master bedroom to relax in the infrared two-person sauna. Daily cleaning, towel change, and bed sheet change at additional cost.
The pool level has an acoustical multi sliding partition door that will completely separate the unit from the upper three floors for multi-family reunions. There is one large laundry room at the pool level and another at the living room level by the kitchen pantry.
There is a game room at the pool level which has a ping pong table and air hockey. A small Natuzzi sofa bed may be used in the room for resting between games. Popcorn machine to enjoy your favorite Netflix show to unwind the day.

The views are amazing. Our New Year's Eve was spent watching the fireworks from all over the island from our perch on top of Tantulus. It was a once-in-a-lifetime experience. The infinity pool was perched as if it were hanging over all of Honolulu.
The home was beautiful and my kids were simply in awe of the amenities.
We would definitely want to rent this home again!

Our travel group was made up of five adults and three children ranging in age from 87 to 11 months. This house was completely perfect for our group. Not only is it beautiful but It has everything needed to make your stay a wonderful experience, from coffee and creamer in the kitchen to games and to towels for the beach and pool. Our host, Jack, was extremely accommodating. I wish there were more stars to your rating system because this house goes way beyond five stars.

I have to say, this is the most beautiful home that I have ever had the pleasure of staying in! It is truly a work of art and the view is bar-none! Eight of us stayed here for a week, including a toddler and a handicap adult. There was plenty of room for everyone, and it worked out that each family actually had their own floor! There were plenty of towels and pool towels, an umbrella for the beach, and two washers and dryers which was also nice! The elevator was just what we needed to easily access all of the floors. However, we did have trouble with it a time or two, and my father in law had to sit up in the entryway in his scooter and wait for someone to arrive to fix it. They were quick, maybe 20 minutes, but being stuck there was a bit frustrating. Why three stars? Well, I just feel the need to let future renters know that the house is a remarkable place for your family retreat, but it does come with a few "issues". First of all, the grid must be overloaded because not only did we have a problem with the elevator, but the pool lights wouldn't come on, the hot tub wouldn't work, the air would shut off (with no way to turn it back on), and you either had to wait for someone to come fix it, or just tough it out. We understand things happen, but not having air in the room that my baby was sleeping in rubbed this mama the wrong way, to say the least. One night, we also had a bug infestation. We were told to turn the lights off and leave the doors shut, but with a toddler and disabled adult, that’s hard to do. The last thing that just really bothered me was that all of the prior reviews stated how stocked the kitchen was. That was not the case for us. I had to reach out to Jack because there were only two spatulas, and no can opener, potato peeler, measuring cups, large pans to cook for 8 people, colander, or glass casserole dishes to even make brownies. These, if you ask me, are very very basic things every rental should have. He did send these things the next day, but there are many more things needed. This kitchen has the most pristine, top of the line appliances, and I didn't even have the proper utensils to go to town in it. That broke my foodie heart. Honestly, if you aren't avid cooks, and can deal with some unwanted creatures and a few electrical issues here and there, stay here! This house IS one of a kind, and the swimming pool and the whole outdoor area is absolutely something no high end resort can ever compete with!

특히, 매일 아침과 저녁에 볼 수 있는 풍경과 야경은 굳이 다른 곳을 갈 필요가 없고, 와이키키는 차로 10분 안으로 갈 수 있기에 최고의 위치라고 볼 수 있다.
우리는 세가족이 방문했는데... 지내는 9일동안 단 한나도 불편함이 없었다. 특히, 우리 아이들 4명은 하루종일 수영에 빠져있었고, 그저 그냥 와이키키 풍경만 봐도 행복했다.
물론 가격이 비싼 부분이 있지만.. 나는 다시 하와이를 방문한다면 꼭 이집을 다시 선택할 것이다.

Property is as advertised but you cannot appreciate its space or views until you are there. Our family enjoyed the pool, view, and leisure this property offers each day. Plus, the numerous rainbows Oahu provides were joyous (we hardly ever get one where we live)
Jack is an outstanding host. Very cordial, prompt replies to our smallest requests, and thorough in his efforts to please. A model host, VRBO should interview him on his perspective as a host.
Commutes to dining, activities, museums, etc., in Honolulu area were max 20 to 30 minutes depending upon rush hour. Easy access to everything we wanted. Travel to North Shore, or Eastern parts of the island easy. Monoa Falls, swimming with sea turtles, beach lounging, volcano hiking, all were amazing.
Evenings in the pool, watching the sunset will remain in my family's memory for the rest of their lives.

This home is unbelievable. Jack has thought of everything from the multilevel elevator to the electric shades entirely covering the windows when you want shade or privacy. The infinity pool is amazing and the hot tub and sauna’s are an added bonus for all! The bedrooms are large and roomy with an AC unit in each individual room. There are Large tvs in every room for added entertainment and a game room with a pull out couch, if needed! My entire family was at this home for 8 days, all 9 of us, including my 1 year old granddaughter and my 88 year old father, so there was quite a range and it was great for all! The stairs were a bit for my father, but the elevator covered that problem! Any problem we ran in to (just minimal things) Jack responded and took care of immediately! I would recommend this home to anyone looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of town and would totally Love to rent from Jack again!!

Most Amazing and Breathtaking Property!
We visit Hawaii annually and we were fortunate to add another week to our stay and found this treasure a month before the first part of our trip began. We were on a special trip for my 50th B-Day and our family's first grandchildren (twins) going to meet the family that live on Oahu. To say this home is amazing just really fails to capture what you feel and experience while being there! The sunsets, unobstructed skyline of the whole southern Oahu shoreline, and an amazing swimming pool that has you floating in the clouds! Even with some maintenance calls that needed to be made for the hot tub heating, Jack was patient and very responsive to all our questions at every turn.
We love the home! Even with getting out to see the island, you feel like you are missing the best part of the trip not being back at the house! We cannot wait to be back again and spend time in this diamond in the sky!

Vacation of a lifetime!!
We booked this beautiful home eight months prior to our visit to Hawaii. We only had a few reviews and photos to go by, but felt it was the home for us. It was my five adult kids and significant others and my grandbaby. My youngest son was stationed there and we had not seen him in a year. In our time of preparation, my oldest proposed to his girlfriend, and we decided to have the wedding right there on the balcony! The home is amazing! The sunsets are amazing, and Jack was so patient with all our questions once we arrived. Excellent communication and we fell in love with the home! We did have a little issue with one of my kids getting burned from the steam room spout, however Jack was very caring and offered to take care of any medical expenses. She is fine. We just wanted to make it aware for the next guest that rented. We will definitely be back! We want to make it a yearly tradition! Plus, they are putting a theatre room in and we’ve decided we have to come back when it’s completed! We didn’t want to leave the home. We were happy laying in the beautiful pool with the best view of Honolulu! Thank you Jack for the excellent communication! We will be back!

He went above and beyond to accommodate our requests and prompt to reply whenever we needed troubleshooting. Jack was very communicative throughout our entire trip. Beyond expectations...
We anxiously anticipated this trip for months. As a family, we could not wait to see all the beautiful sites of Oahu, plus this home had us intrigued and captivated – but only through the amazing photos provided on the listing. Once we arrived at the property, we were thrilled to find the home exceeded all our prior, high expectations! At first glance, …and second glance,…and third glance, the view takes your breath away. The home provided a wonderful sanctuary and gathering place after a long day of island activity. We felt ‘at home’ every day and every night as we enjoyed laughter, stories, food, fun and photos – many photos – of that wonderful view. We highly recommend every quality this beautiful home has to offer. The property host and process connected with securing the home were first rate! We dream of the day we return.

WISH THERE WERE 6 STARS POSSIBLE -- SURPASSED ALL HIGH EXPECTATIONS!
Where to start? We reserved this home for our family’s summer vacation to Hawaii, and without other reviews, we wanted to make sure that this home could even be real as beautiful as it appeared in the photos. We did not want to show up, and it be a mere dream. Well, it was – in the best way. This home is magnificent. Think of wanting to go to Oahu to see every beautiful site and have all the exciting adventures possible, but not wanting to leave the amazing home you were staying in. It was that great! Thankfully, we did go into Waikiki and went surfing, shopping, golfing, to Pearl Harbor and the USS Arizona, to a luau, to Kualoa Ranch for ziplining, and enjoyed MANY fine restaurants. BEST OF ALL, this home had the most convenient access to all of those activities, despite its high perch overlooking the beautiful city below. We did NOT want to leave this home, but it made a wonderful escape every day after our fun on Oahu. Jack, you could not have been a more gracious host, answering every question we had, giving awesome recommendations, being available for even the smallest inquiry (like, “How do we get the Deck Umbrella open?”)! We’ve stayed in homes all over the world, and our family agrees that this is the best one we’ve visited. Watching the sun come up on the East side of the mountains in Oahu, and go down on the West side with such a spectacular panoramic view is something we will never forget. You have a rare jewel, and we happily and highly recommend that other families consider this their home away from home on Oahu. We can hardly wait to come back to visit!
