The house was beautiful, comfortable and beautifully decorated. Perfect walking distance to the beach. The beds were soft but squeaky king bed and trundle bed for sure. You can see outdoor seating around what is an outside tv but it’s locked up. In fact this house has tons of locked cabinets. Usually there is at least salt and pepper but not here. Kitchen was ok stocked but a few

Home is a great location--beware of days traveled during the week as many things/restaurants are closed early in the week. Home was very nice and had lovely features including a top floor deck perfect for early morning coffee.

This house was very clean and exactly what is represented in the listing. The pool is awesome! The perfect size for younger kids. The location is very convenient and there is plenty of space for a larger family. Everything was well stocked in the kitchen and bathrooms. The only thing we didn't love was the beds weren't comfortable. Especially in the bunk room (so squeaky). My kids ended up on the floor. Otherwise we loved everything about this house and vacation.

Good Graces had well appointed and very comfortable rooms for gathering, eating and sleeping. There were plenty of bathrooms, all reasonably supplied. Several very cozy screened porches and a lovely pool area with plenty of seating and shade. There were pool toys, hoses to remove sand and a nice level of privacy. It was very convenient to the beach. The house is well maintained and thoughtfully stocked. It was perfect for a family of adults, providing options for personal space and privacy. Visiting children also had a great time! We loved our stay!

Overall the house was beautiful and very conveniently located. We loved the pool and the kitchen had everything we needed! My only real complaints were that it could use a deep clean - the rugs were really stained. The sleeping situation in the "bunk room" was not good as the beds were so noisy both the beds and mattresses!! The trundle bed was very uncomfortable and I still have a sore back from feeling the metal braces. There is no way you could sleep 6 in that bedroom either because if you pulled the lower trundle bed out you could not use the ladder to access the top bunks. There was only one ladder for two sets of bunk beds and the ceiling fan was right above the access to the top bunk of one set. The sleeping situation in that room would definitely effect our decision to stay there again.

Awesome Edisto vacation
We loved staying at Good Graces. The beds were wonderful with new mattresses. The pool was cool and refreshing. The amount of different outdoor sitting areas was fun with beautiful views! We will be back ❤️

Not so good graces
Pros: The layout of the house was fantastic! Each room had their very own full bath. The kitchen was great and the fridge was awesome! The living room was comfy and plenty of room for a group of 5. Cons: The beds were the worst mattresses I’ve ever slept on. So thin you could feel the bed springs and covered in plastic which stuck to you and the bottom sheet all night. The gas grill did not work and was rusted to no end upon arrival. The outdoor shower was completely closed in and unusable due to the mosquitoes. Outdoor showers need ventilation and good draining to prevent water from pooling.. this did not have that! The entire house needs a deep clean top to bottom- thick dust on wall fixtures, spots on ceilings, broken / dingy outdoor furniture. All in all we had a great week, but will be looking for another house next year.

Love this house! My only suggestion is that this house is too nice to have uncomfortable mattresses. Previous reviews have also complained about them. Costco has great memory foam ones for under $800. Also remove plastic mattress protectors and put fabric ones on.

Phenomenal property provided an excellent stay for 3 families, 8 total guests. The home was clean with plenty of space. Each bedroom had a private bathroom, comfortable bed and a TV. The kitchen had plenty of quality items to use for cooking, serving, and dining. View and short walking distance to the beach were great. The pool was a wonderful amenity to have with a shaded afternoon. Whaley's was a short walk away for easy food pickup. The biking trails were also close by that went through the woods. Great vacation location and excellent stay!

Good Graces exceeded my expectations! The house is beautifully decorated, clean and well equipped with everything we needed to have a great beach trip. Although not on the beach, the location is so close you can walk there in 2 minutes. We used the pool everyday and even had room to set-up a smaller baby pool on the deck for our 2 toddlers. There is beautiful landscaping around the pool and a large shaded area for lounging and playing games. We enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it to friends and family.

Our stay at Good Graces was wonderful! Three generations of family were gathered (ages 4 to 67) and everyone enjoyed. The home was large, clean, and beautifully decorated. The beach was just a couple minute walk, and the pool provided hours of entertainment. The ONLY complaint we had was that we were not able to use the screened in porch (pictured) as the cushions had been removed for cleaning. The agency responded to our concern quickly with some pillows for temporary use, but the fit wasn't right. That was just a fluke problem though. We would highly recommend Edisto Island and specifically this rental to anyone considering the area.

This is the 10th year we have rented Good Graces. Always a pleasure. The house suits our family needs perfectly. We have always enjoyed the pool. This year there was apparently a new pool cleaner who did not do a good job. The pool was dirty when we arrived on Sat. On Monday we called the rental agency and someone came to clean the pool but was very rude. The pool was not cleaned the rest of the week. That is the only complaint we have re: our stay.
