We had a really pleasant stay here. The location was great and really convenient, just a couple minute walk to the prettiest part of the BSL beach! It was also a super short drive to the harbor and the old part of town, probably less than a mile. We even chose just to walk sometimes to avoid having to park. It’s an older cottage but clean, comfortable and spacious. It seemed to have been recently renovated and painted. The back part of the house (with a king bed and its own private little bathroom) had a separate entry in the rear, and the two parts of the house were connected by a hallway that could be closed off by a door, so it was really private back there The kitchen had everything we needed, and there was a washer and dryer too. There is a really large fenced yard in the back so we definitely plan to bring our fur baby next time we come! Karen was super-communicative, gave us good recommendations, and even let us check in early. She was also nice enough to mail us my sunglasses later.

Great stay for a quick trip to BSL
We had an excellent stay here. It's an older property so it's not "perfect" but the price reflects. Had a few small bugs show themselves but nothing serious. Might just need a monthly pest control service.
Owner was super-communicative and answered all of our questions.
Property is a quick drive/walk to the beach and the town.
Overall, we put loved our time here and will definitely stay here again.

Met our needs
This is a small cottage that is in need of further repairs. There is some sort of addition in the back of the house that is closed off. When we stayed, there was a tarp covering part of one exterior wall of the main cottage. . The front living area probably used to be a porch that was enclosed at some point. There are bunk beads in that area and it was a little hot for sleeping in July. The second bedroom is just four walls and a bed. The description says the house is two blocks from the beach, which is technically true but these are very long blocks and you definitely need a wagon or something if you are hauling chairs, ice chests etc. We chose this property because we wanted to bring our dog to the beach so we weren’t looking for anything fancy and the owner agreed to allow our dog. There is a large fenced yard in the back. We didn’t cook so I can’t comment on all kitchen appliances but the refrigerator and washer and dryer worked, and everything was clean. It’s definitely a shabby chic sort of vibe.

First time in BSL
I would highly recommend staying at a property owned by Karen. We had a very pleasant experience. The property was conveniently located close to the beach. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were cool . We enjoyed using the toaster oven in the kitchen and watching Disney Plus at night. The check in and check out process was very easy and the property owner was very responsive to any questions I had.

House
Horrible smell, tarp on side of house. Trap house , wife wouldn’t stay the night in this house. Cheap price but still not worth the amount
