Le logement est très confortable. il n’y a pas de passage à l’intérieur de l’hôtel donc c’était plutôt agréable. la salle de bain était très bien

Tout était très bien, mise à part le faite que l’établissement donne sur une grande route très fréquenté et que l’isolation au bruit n’est pas terrible

La limpieza fue inexistente, por tanto no hubo reposición de productos de aseo ni hicieron la habitación. Personal no había. Había que coger las llaves de un buzón.

Clean, Modern Guest House in Douglas - Cork

We had a brief stay at Belvedere Guest house. The room has been modernised in recent years. It was clean, comfortable and suited our purpose. Being on the ground floor was a bonus no stairs to lug bags up and down. Also happy to have free car parking at the front of the property. The location is within walking distance of the Douglas Village shopping centre and we had a good Dinner at Barry's Bar and Restuarant. You will need to drive or use public transport to go to the centre of Cork. Also this property uses a contactless method of checking in.

Non abbiamo mai incontrato lo staff. Siamo arrivati tardi e quindi ci è stato comunicato il codice per entrare nella stanza via sms. Inesistente l'accoglienza. Nemmeno per il check-out. C'era una macchiolina rossa sul lenzuolo, quindi pulizia non ottimale. Camera tipo bungalow e bagno piccolissimo con un lavandino mini. Troppo alto il prezzo per il servizio offerto.

Very comfortable, clean, safe and well organised, we will definitely go back again.

Key retrieval at arrival was very well organised. The room exceeded our expectations. Bed and room were very comfortable and clean! The place was very quiet and we felt very much at home. We would certainly recommend to family, friends and anyone who needs to spend a night out.

Nothing, all was great! we loved every bit of our stay!

10 rooms-5 parking spaces! we parked in the bank parking next door. Weird green light in bathroom and bedroom. Not like a tiny light (like on a smoke alarm or microwave), no, the entire light fixture glowed Martian green all night. Also, the walls are paper thin. A fan to circulate air would have been helpful with both noise from neighbors AND to cool off the room.

Good stay in Douglas

Great location in Douglas, comfortable room, complimentary coffee, tea, water, mini fridge in the room, recently renovated bathroom.

There was no window in the room, the only way to get some fresh air was to open the door which led to a shared garden. Therefore anyone could access the room at any time. As a solo traveller, I didn't feel entirely safe with the door open. There is also a skylight and the room becomes completely bright early in the morning, with no way of blocking the light.

Disappointed stay

It was great to have off-street parking. However it was very difficult to find...Douglas Rd is long and there were no numbers etc. More details would be helpful. The room was recently painted with new furnishings, but the bathroom was dirty and mouldy and neeeded a good clean. It was nice to be given small treats like the biscuits, but the green lights that shone brightly all night directly above the bed and in the bathroom made sleep difficult.

There is no staff. You are emailed codes etc. Room wasn't clean during stay.

Nice, quaint, comfortable, pleasant stay.

Stay was comfortable, facilities were adequate and the location was just a short bus ride away from the Cork city center. The location is private and we did not really interact with anyone from the staff.

It was a tiny bit cold at first, but once we figured out the heater, it was very nice.

IMPERSONAL AND UNWELCOMING.

GOOD ROOM TEMPERATURE CONTROLS COMFORTABLE BED. GOOD SHOWER AND BATHROOM

VERY DISAPPOINTED TO ARRIVE AFTER A FIVE HOUR JOURNEY TO FIND A LOCKED FRONT DOOR AND NO-ONE TO RECEIVE US OR GREET US. HAD TO PHONE A GIRL WHO THEN SENT A TEXT DEMANDING PAYMENT IN FULL BEFORE SHE WOULD GIVE US A CODE TO UNLOCK A KEY BOX. ALL VERY COLD AND IMPERSONAL AND NOT AT ALL WHAT ONE EXPECTS IN THE LAND OF A THOUSAND WELCOMES. THE SHOWER HAD DIRTY BLACK MARKS IN THE BOTTOM CORNERS. THERE WERE ONLY 3 HANGERS IN THE WARDROBE.
